    Thank you for all your help in this video. I was able to do a job that was gonna cost me $500 or better and get it done for $25, 3 hours, and one skinned knuckle. Ur easy to follow, step by step instructions gave me the courage to do this. Thanks again!!!

    I can't get over the amount of valve cover gasket you do, I don't see them done up here so much. Must be all that hot weather. Cheers.

      Yeah the hot weather dries them out. Funny thing is I may not do anymore more for months and then I'll do five in a row.

    do you have part numbers for the gaskets? I went to the parts store and they were saying 50-70 $ with my discount

    what would be the symptom for needing to replace the gasket. visible oil leak? could the o-rings fail and cause a loss of oil but not neccesarilly be visible?

      Hello. Valve covers are usually a visual leak. Sometimes the Tube seals will leak and let oil into the spark plugs. Either way a quick inspection with a flashlight is your best way to check it out. Thank you so much for watching my videos and writing to me hope this helps.

    hi i need help my PT cruiser is overheating I change the sensor temp,both relays ,thermostat,and fuse next to the relays and check manually the fan to see if it turn on and it did turn on but the fan is not turning on inside the car when is overheating

      Angel Cervantes you will need a wiring diagram and check the fan module. If you can find a wiring diagram for the fan system it'll tell you everything connected to it as far as fuses relays sensors and models and then you just start at the fan and work backwards until you find what is missing either power ground.

    Damn I need you in my life !!!my 2002 has an leak inside the spark plug chamber , i guess you would call it ...just on one though ! would I have to go through all of this just for that one? What is the estimated time on a job like this,and est labor cost??

      @HowtoAutomotive  7 років тому

      WHISPERING DEER MCKAY thank you it's nice to be needed. Lol Yes you would have to take it all apart. If I remember right it took about two hours to do the job. If you were to pay a shop it would be around 250 parts and labor.

      Philip Mclaughlin That sucks sorry see hear about that. This is a tough one The PT cruiser doesn't hold much value and the repair can cost more than the car is worth.
