SO GOOD--YOU DID A GREAT JOB, BOTH CONTENT & PRESENTATION! Here is specifically what I thought was (in no particular order) great about you video. 1.) No loud distractions from music or other. 2.) You told us what size of wrench to use. ( "This takes a 10 mm socket") 3.) You visually showed us what kind of wrench; socket, open-end, etc... No need for us to fumble around trying different wrenches. 4.) You did the whole repair in what I perceived was real time. Great and useful editing; we don't need to see you take off every valve cover bolt. 5.) You taught us how to release and remove (without breaking) those damn wire harness connectors. They are a pain in the butt! 6.). You didn't do a big long speech before, in the middle, and at the end like some do. Those get really boring. 7.) You have a good fast pace. I think some people just watch because they are hung-up on one little procedure. Me, I couldn't figure out the removal of the (I think) transmission fluid canisters w/2 lines to it. But the video was so fast-paced I stayed to the end. So glad I did, because I learned so much more. Specifically your technique. You can not learn that from an online Field Manual like AllDataDIY.com (which is really good, for a detailed written list and drawings of the process. Thanks again! Didn't mean to be so long. But I think appreciation on why someone subscribes is good for a producer of content.
Just came back to say thanks again ..I watched this video before tackling this job on my PT and then went at it like I knew what I was doing ... this video made the job a complete breeze from start to finish
Even though this video is 5 years old is helped me today as im changing the valve cover gasket on an 03 Chrysler Voyager with a 2.4L dohc motor. Thanks!
I watched your PT video over and over again before I performed the task myself on my 2009 PT Cruiser. Afterward, It worked fine without anymore oil leak Also, added gaskets the spark plug wells..
two q's: why not leave HT leads to distrib block. remove all together? 2} little spray of low viscocty penetrating lube at joint of hoses to nipples...slips ezer off? your vids are a "cut to the chase" real world gems...thanks...
Thank you! Saved me time. However, where is the EGR hot exhaust tube? The one I am working on is an '03 Cruiser. It is attached on the back of the intake manifold with a 14 mm head bolt and a smaller 8 mm head bolt and there is another 14 mm head bolt on the air inlet side of the throttle body.
I may have a pre-existing issue. My battery light was on before. My valve cover was insanely hard to remove. The gasket was melted and down the side of the valve cover. I hooked everything back up after replacing, had the spark plugs numbered, they clicked plugging in.. all the sensors plugged back in During removing, i poured the power steering fluid on the alternator My car now flickers all the lights and dies frequently All signs point to alternator or battery but oreillys says they test fine
hi I have a problem on my pt cruizer that u can't fine is leaking antifreeze but I don't know from were is there any tip u can give me to find out thank you
hey guys I've got a leaking sensor from looking under a ramp at the rear of the engine just above the drive train on this car it's looking straight at you and leaking on to that black plastic covered pipe... can you tell me what sensor this is so I can get a replacement?! cheers.
I just got done rebuilding the motor on my 2003 PT Cruiser GT (Turbo) and when I start the car the idle shoots up then low, then high and low and it keeps doing it. Any idea what's causing it?
Solid 8 outta 10 if you add torque requirements it'd be a 9.5 outta 10! I actually dislike I have to go somewhere else to find torque requirements lol But TY
How do you adjust the pt cruiser headlights. On 2002 model. Can't find anyone who can answer this question. Please help me out if you can. Email me Steve Freels. Thanks in advance

Well I found my "How to" video now all I need to do is go get the parts..Thank you Sir
Why you did not finish all the way with the gaskets and the seals for the oil well ????
two q's: why not leave HT leads to distrib block. remove all together? 2} little spray of low viscocty penetrating lube at joint of hoses to nipples...slips ezer off? your vids are a "cut to the chase" real world gems...thanks...
When doing the valve cover gaskets do you change the spark plug seals too .Because my #2 spark plug has oil in it.
Thank you! Saved me time. However, where is the EGR hot exhaust tube?

Very complete video with clear instructions. Thank you
A quick question, do you need to add gasket sealant to hold the gasket in place?
Thanks! I was stuck on the retaining bolts for the power steering reservoir. You rock.
I need to know if I broke the hose connection to the valve cover body and the other end where does it go
Could have just left the plug wires connected to the coil pack. And you could have also shown the seals for the spark plug tubes.
Do you know where I can get info on the 2.4l valvetrain specs? I might have sticky valve in mine.
I may have a pre-existing issue. My battery light was on before.

Is it an o2 sensor?

Thank you
Please do an oil pan video for this car
When removing hoses use the right hose removal pliers. Dont use a screw driver.
Good 👍👍
Thanks about to do this job
Didn't mention tube seals 😢
Good vids. Nice watch, I would have that baby scratched up i no time working on cars. ; )
