OMG thank you for this video!! I have tried other videos and they moved way too fast and made it look very complicated. But you were clear, moved at a pace I could watch and work the stitch at the same time. And, I learned this stitch finally!!!! Thank you again so much!!!
I like this stitch, and it's so easy! Thank you for using a larger yarn and hook, and a contrasting background for the tutorial. It made the video easy to watch.
I am loving all of your videos! I am an experienced crocheter (6 years) but many of these stitches are brand new to me! I also want to thank you for US Terms, I think you are now my favorite creator on youtube! I bookmarked this list and I am looking forward to working through all of these fun stitches!
I found using a 6mm hook for the base chain and a 5mm hook for the body of the scarf I’m making kept it from bowing at the bottom. Gave it a nice straight base. Lovely stitch. Thank you ❤
The cutest stitch ever! I really want to make a cute baby blanket using these colors as well. This is another go to crochet channel I would recommend to anyone
I just love this stitch! My daughter wants a blanket, and she is almost 32 and I have been calling her "bean" since she was a month old. I didnt know what stitch to nake her blanket with, but I do now!!! Lol. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos.
Done this pattern and it is very easy to make. I find your explanation is very easy for a person of my age of 77 and is self taught since my mother knew how to crochet but refused to teach me. Thank you 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️😄
I’m making a beautiful table runner for my daughter for Christmas in a Metallic Ivory and it is beautiful. The pattern goes fast and is a lot of fun. Have a wonderful weekend.
I'm so glad that there is a simpler bean stitch and it is a one row repeat! So many ideas come to mind! I do like the look of the bigger bean stitch but struggle with my tension and not having loose areas, or some bigger or smaller than its neighbor. Thank you for your really good tutorials. 😊💗
I’ve used this stitch a few times and love it. Anyway, needed a reminder and I wasn’t paying attention and I yarned over on the first stitch also and pulled through 5 😂 It looks ok actually ! X
Without a doubt you are a great instructor! Out of all the videos I’ve watched you are the best. And believe me I’ve watched hundreds! Love this stitch! Easy and quick!
Binge watching, lol, is all I can do right now because of arthritis but will try a few patterns in the winter for gifts. Thank you, Robin for your wonderful videos.
Thanks for this video. This stitch looks nice and easy especially when you just don't want single crochets or hdc... Can't wait to make something with this.
I have been working a lapgan with this stitch over the weekend. I will be using it it again. The texture is amazing not to heavy, but still warm. Thank you for this pattern.
Really love watching your videos as you explain each step so well and precisely so that a not so confident crotchet person like me can follow plus I love all your projects, thank you.
Such a simple stitch with endless possibilities. ".. remember when you have 4 loops on your hook and you yarn over and draw it through, That chain 1 you do afterwards to lock down that bean stitch, that is all part of the mini bean stitch..... " In my mind I see and hear . . . . find the hole in the soil, plant the seeds, cover the beans with soil and pat it down. Make sure you water the beans. At the end you will have a beautiful bean garden.
This pattern is so much fun to do, thank you! I am going to make a hot pad by making two identical sides with cotton thread and stitching them together!
I just found your channel with this video. I love how clearly you explain the steps and your video illustrations make understanding even easier!!! I’m so glad I found you!
O crochê é uma terapia universal, mesmo sendo Brasileira e não sabendo o idioma Eu consigo entender. Amo crochê e Vc está de parabéns por nós ensinar novos pontos
1:54 just found ur channel on UA-cam and love how u explain and show exactly how to do each stitch. I found a post on FB about these cute little crocheted cow hats, and would love to figure out how to crochet them. I have pictures of 3 different styles, and unfortunately I am not that great at crocheting, (just learned basics from my mom when I was a teenager) loved watching because I am also Robin!
Another wonderful video. So clear, and a pleasure to watch. I’m making a hat from a (written) pattern but couldn’t figure out which stitch to hook into from the second row. Thank you so much 🙏💗
I love this mini bean stitch for a new scarf I'm starting today. It's winter here in Tasmania. I also love the puff stitch. Using 8 ply yarn for this one and might try chunky yarn for the puff stitch. Thanks. 💞
TRobin, thanks so much for this video… one of the best points you made was bean counting! LOL. When there was a little gap at the end of the row or even the beginning, I was thinking I must need a bean there… until I noticed my project getting a wee bit wonky…so I went back to your video and found the answe… great clarification th!!!!🍁🍁
New sub 🫶 This is perfect 👌 Just what I was looking for. Simple, fast, textured ❤ Excellent tutorial. I'm intermediate, but definitely appreciate your simple and easy to understand instructions. Excellent video clarity! ❤
So pretty and fun looking😃Definitely going to try this, and intend to share it with my nieces to teach their daughters. I think both great nieces will love this😍(being 6 and 10)!
Love the stitch and as always your explanations are awesome, the only downside for me is the starting chain, particularly as l am a beginner who has problems keeping my tension even. I usually make corner to corner baby blankets solely to avoid having to chain too many stitches. Would love to see how you use the chain less foundation and then how you continue with the stitch of your choice.
I absolutely Love this stitch. Actually working on a scarf 🧣 for myself right now. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. 😊🧶 New Subscriber here🤚🏼. 💖

Hi Robin, glad you’re back! You have been missed! Can you please do a tutorial for seamless color change for amigurumi toy? Thanks in advance.❤️
Makes a grand washcloth! Thanks! !!
Great tutorial, love it!
Ps. 2n+1 stitches is the same as any odd number 😊 no need to count 2+2+2+...+1
The pattern repeat is useful to know for if you wanted to mix stitches into a sampler type blanket etc but otherwise, yes just an odd number 😀
@@HookedbyRobinOh ok, I didn't think about that 😊 One type of stitch is quite enough for me for now!
