Robin, I want to thank you for helping me recapture the legacy my grandmother gave me as a girl. She taught me to crochet when I was young, but I forgot over the years and then she passed away in 2020. I wanted to pick it back up in honor of her, but I couldn't remember anything. I tried many other UA-cam crochet tutorials and I almost gave up. The way they held their yarn made my hand cramp. And then I found your channel and your natural and comfortable style...and now I have made blankets and amigurumi for my children and am loving every moment of crocheting! I love having this skill from my Grandma again. A piece of her than continues on now, thanks to your excellent teaching and detailed guidance. Thank you, thank you!

This is a very nice stitch and so easy to learn with your well presented video. Went out today and bought some lovely yarn for a baby blanket for a new grand niece. This is the 4th stitch I have used in a blanket following your videos in the last 9 months. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂🇨🇦
Hi Robin, I love your tutorials 💖 you always explain in a manner that is easy to follow. I've done the bean stitch a few times, but this zig zag pattern is different. Love it. ❤️ Well done 👏
I love this because it's not a huge puff stitch. I might take apart something I'm working on with big bobbles (haven't got but a few rows) and work on this instead!

Hi! Love all your tutorials! My question is: if I make a border for a bean stitch blanket, how many SC or HDC should I make per bean stitch? And where do I place the border stitch? Thanks!
The bean stitch is one of my favorites........super easy, and oh so squishy!!! Is there a way to straighten out the edges without a border? I suck at borders but not having a straight edge makes me insane, almost like a crookedly hung picture on the wall. 😂😂
I personally quite like the puffy edging as is, however, if you wanted a more traditional border, I'd suggest something simple and plain - a few rounds of sc perhaps? X
Thank you so much for this tutorial! ❤❤ There are others on UA-cam but yours is the best. I’m making a baby blanket with the bean stitch and am wondering what kind of border you would recommend for this stitch.
