I had a 1970 Dodge camper special, it was a great work horse up til the end! Metal fatigue claimed the cab and frame! Sold off all the reusable parts! Still looking for another with a crew cab!
@@LambvinskisGarage the 318 Polly is the one Chrysler should have kept going with. Good power decent fuel mileage and built like a tank. Going to look at a d300 tomorrow It's a 1970 model.
I don't think so. The cross member is bolted, not riveted, the door tag also says D200 and nothing about the front axle. It may have been a very early conversion.
My son did the same conversion to his '69 using parts from a '65 and a short tail 727 out of a 70's extended cab.

Definitely in very good shape. I think you should get it going and enjoy driving it. I like the styling of these old Dodge trucks.
Find a period bed camper for it and camp in northern Michigan. Remember that four out of five Great Lakes prefer Michigan!
Had a sweptline w200 383 4 speed crew cab that we scrapped years back..regretted it ever since
Mis preferidos esos carros ❤❤❤❤❤😮😮
Keep it and love it
It has a headliner? Fancy!
Put a big block in it-to compliment that headliner!
I'll take it.
12 valve Cummins
That's a nice truck but for me I like 1977 GMC Sierra gronday
I own three of them 65 + 68 + 71. 68 and 71 are both big block powered four-wheel drive. The 65 got the poly 318 and it's my daily driver.
That's awesome! I'm throwing a 318 Poly in this one in the morning!

@Sam Beer I very much agree! Hopefully that 300 is a good one!
Thank you would be cool to take the frame and put it on a truck that supposed to be on that frame that's a sharp wheel truck the real motor in it
Make it look stock and put a camper on it . Put a 360 in it , use it for what it is made for, off road ,off the grid camping .
Fix it up.👍😊
Restoration ahead
Awesome collection. I don't know what you guys should do with it but whatever it is I've subscribed so I get to see it now haha

I would love to have it, but logistics make it very impractical. You've got some cool stuff out there.
