These are my favorite body styles and years of Dodge trucks. My late Grandpa and late uncle Albert had these years in the 1960s later when I was a little boi.
*"Float adjuster, available in the screwdriver isle!"* 🤣 Gave me a good laugh. Nice find. I've got a '63 crew and love the 4 headlight look way better than the single. Take care 🔧🔩
Nice find. I'd say orange. Like to see more of the rehab. Look forwatd to it. Thanks.
Nice acquisition..Love those old Dodge's.. it's probably red, but the outside is faded from the sun.. making it look orange...
The world may never know! Lol
Nice. It's in awesome condition for the place where it was.
It really is! Drivers door is separated at the bottom, and the floors have a couple holes, but it's pretty solid otherwise!
@@LambvinskisGarage Mine has the same issue with the door, but at top. And yeah, the floor it's always the same. But, it rly looks very solid. And That slant sounds like if it was parked a few weeks ago!
Ya You're Right. Its Orange.
I found that after a good wash... I take wet/dry and use soapy water with 800 grit to lightly go over the paint, then use a clay bar to really clean it. It brings them so smooth, it reminds you of that first date back fifty years ... well about fifty eight years ago for me, back seat of my 57 ford four door hardtop... the car a story of its own as it wasn't a real old car and I had it polished to like new, we spent saturdays at the park washing our rigs up so other people could see them... my girl at the time loved that car.... we were just eighteen... she was a real looker an remember how damn smooth the skin on her bare ass was when she saw that car, she gave it up quick to be my girl in that car... ya, that smooth. Clay takes the tiny stuff right out with just water and a light scrub all over the paint and glass. I like original as that is only once. I never was a big mopar guy although I had my share of those rigs from 62 to somewhere in the mid seventies where I started racing those ford fairlanes that never had anything inside the body, like interior, glass, heater or radio.. just stuff to make it run and drive... It ran mid tens consistent on pump gas... before corn fuel days. It had the factory straight axle that was popular then. I really think you would be disappointed to go grab groceries in it. The worst was running on my own pocket money with a car that really deserved more.. there was always someone faster
Love those old sweptlines, I still have my dad's old 66 D100 with a 225 that we drove all the way to Missouri from Washington state, old girl needs a little love hasn't been driven for a while, and I'd say the color is red but just oxidized to the point it looks orange, thanks for the video.
Thats awesome!! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Red!
Awesome my daily is a 65 4 eye, 318 super reliable 👍
Wide block 318s are very under rated and super awesome!
Wow that takes me back. In 1978 I bought a used 1963 D100 flatbed. Had a bench seat in the cab that sat on four blocks of wood and rocked back and forth as you drove. There was another beck seat sitting on the flatbed behind the cab facing aft. Great for drive ins. I remember driving down the road one day and looked in my wing mirror and saw my rear wheel sticking out about a foot or so from the side of the truck. Pulled over, jacked her up and showed the wheel and shaft back into the axle, dropped her back down and kept going. Had to keep doing that for a couple months until I found an old duster rear axle in a junkyard I could afford.
Oh and mine came with a wolf whistle that ran off the intake manifold!
Thats awesome!!
@@LambvinskisGarage one thing I keep wondering is, who was the salesman selling all those Dodge pickups in 1962-64 around your parts? Must have been a helluva salesman! I've never seen so many in one place like that before! Keep collecting.
@@markfrost9087 haha right? We get them from all over the place, we aren't afraid to go on a drive to get one. We'll probably be grabbing another one this week!
@@LambvinskisGarage I'd love to know more about the slant six. I know you guys and most people have a warm spot for the 318, but i once saw a youtube video of a guy hotting up a chevy 235 and he got ridiculous power and nice running behavior from it. I wonder how nice a slant six could be and modded up a little bit how it would fare in a time of expensive gas.... parts are plentiful still?
After seeing a few of your vids i went out to look at my old 65 project truck. ty for pointing out the cowling drains under the hood. the passenger side was clogged. only rust in the typical easier to fix places (door skin hasnt come close to separating and tho under door is gone the step and floorpan is great)
i would call that color u-haul orange. really nice old truck, you can't kill a slant 6!
It pretty much is a U-Haul orange!! I like your thinking!
Great find. Lucky dog !
It is a fine ride!
I would like to see that green tuck
👊🙂👍1964.D100👏👍
love it! i have a !970 power wagon on a Dodge Dakota platform
225'S NEVER DIE.........THEY JUST GO TO HELL TO GET REBUILT 👍😁
Thanks, I have a 71 D-100 long bed 318La, 727, 8 3/4
Depends on the camera angle. When you first showed the dash, it looked bright red more than once, but at the end, it looked orange.
I know! It's confusing! I don't get it.
my 65 score had factory buckets and factory carpet of all things. all else is stock bare bones. thing is i prefer bench and no carpet, go figure. lol
Cool truck, nice vid!!!

It was red but faded
How is it I buy a duster and a d100 both slant 6 and they both had bad valves with no compression and this thing runs perfectly
Oh man, I definitely understand! You see all the videos of guys getting stuff running with ease, you rarely see the ones where they fail! We have a few of those videos on the channel lol.
It's "order"! Lol
Good score guys wouldn't take 😉 much to get it back on the road great stuff
Not at all! She can be a little grumpy, but always runs!
It,s Oredge, you big Silly,s..
LMAO..
3.50 is a tall rear for a slant 6. mine all had close to 4:0. maybe it originally came with a v8?
I believe this is an original truck, but it's very possible the rear end was changed in the last 50 something years.
@@LambvinskisGarage couldve been special order as well. the specs i looked up said all 64-66 slants came with the same rear. it would be interesting to see if the specs tag is still there
@madd hatter I'll have to look! I just moved the truck yesterday actually haha.
Do you guys fix and sell or fix and keep?
We do both. Just depends. We'll usually get some fun out of them, sell em, pay for the next, and repeat. But sometimes they get kept too.
I'd be interested in the flatbed if you weren't pert neart to Canukistan.
🙂👍👏
Owenge
