How to hookup a scan tool to your 8 speed JK transmission and how to reset your Adaptations in the HP75 transmission, now the HP70 is the same but we use a 2016 Challenger valve body flash.

How can you reset adaptions without the snap on scan tool?

You can reset Adaptions with most scan tools, The thing is, the transmission needs to be reset and started fresh. You need to teach the transmission how to behave, we have found just from my testing when you pull a valve body out and reinstall it there is air in it and you are low on fluid so that is what the transmission is seeing at first, so we clear all the codes out and reset the adaptions and then go for a test drive, we drive the Jeep for 150 miles and we drive it very easy. Also recheck the fluid many times ..
