Can't put a body lift on an XJ, so I would guess you would have to hang the drivetrain down that extra inch and a qtr which might require that much extra suspension lift to clear.
Yes you can. Novak has a kit. We are currently building an 01 TJ 6.0ls swap with an nv3550 5-speed trans and recording the entire process. The ax-15 is the same process. Posting is on THE ASAP AUTOMOTIVE CHANNEL. Check it out!
register the jeep in another state LOL other than that, calis real specific on swaps. TJs are touchy subject.. only way to swap a TJ in cali is the jep has to be an 05 or older and you can use any other hemi in it other than same year or newer. cant put an 04 hemi into an 05 for example, same thing is you cant put an 05 hemi into an 06 jeep or an 06-08 hemi into any TJ at all... have to use manifolds. no headers etc... all emissions systems functioning, operational; check engine light...... calis a process just sayin
yes but thats what the client had and wanted to keep. not a fan as a halfway healthy hemi will find the week link in that trans quickly, especially if the trans has 'some' miles on it. we recommend at least a bump to the nv3550, which has slightly higher specs. seen the nv3550 live behind a healthy stock hemi, 60/s and 40s.
