So necessary
For me it's every time. When I start seeing new people,after I end things,I realize,I compromised myself in ways I couldn't if I hadn't gotten involved.
I think it's because, mostly I meet people who are the opposite of me,there is soo much emotions than there's logic involved in a new relationship,and..
instead of having a sit-down and talking about the way forward,we just keep moving forward ,as though it was, normal without even realizing that including a new person in your life is a big change that requires a conscious adjustment. Obviously, now I know better, because I am growing as individual,and I've realized that I come first,and my purpose should not be compromised, no matter what, I can do this by finding a balance

Don't be afraid to use the word compromise. When it comes to love there is compromising that is involved but not compromising your values and standards because then it's called settling. When two people of different personalities come together compromising will have to come into play at some point in time.
