Being a married man I appreciate this platform. I tell black men all the time there are amazing black women in our culture. We just have to be whole within ourselves to lead our women.
Y’all literally give me hope! To see attractive men have intellectual and deep conversations on emotional intimacy and showing appreciation to the women in their life let’s me know that my person is out there too and there’s no way I’m settling. In a world full of players and emotionally unintelligent guys you guys are the standard. Other podcasts have made men look so bad so i look forward to hearing from you guys every week. Keep going ❤👏🏽
Yes between this podcast and the Black love podcast when they do the men’s discussion such a breath of fresh air and let’s me know they are out there ❤
Yes! It feels like a safe space for us women to come here and gain a men’s perspective. I really love their podcast and hope they have the women come back for a part 2 🤭🫶🏼💕✨
Something that has helped me in my waiting season is to study God’s design and intention for men and women. As a woman I’ve found better understanding of my role through the word of God. And vice versa I have come to understand the role of a man/husband through the word as well. What does the word say ? Then go from there. Both man and woman must be submitted to God. A man is to lead but a man is also called to love his wife like Jesus loves the church. Women are called to submit to our Husbands as we submit to the Lord. Both men and women are called to serve each other; and thus we can serve the Lord through our relationships . I’ve also come to realize that thinking either party is the “prize” has damaged our perspective and value of each other. You are not my prize and vice versa; you are apart of my assignment. Because often times God uses our partners to build us up where we are weak so we can be more pleasing to him. God shows this in Hosea. As a woman I feel it’s my job to steward God’s son well and be delicate with him. And I believe the same goes for men; to steward God’s daughters well. It’s all about service.
I’m taking notes to be a better woman from this and use this to help me continue to identify healthy men! Y’all conversations are powerful and on-point🙌🏽
FINALLY, A HEALTHY MATURE CONVERSATION ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS!!! Positive vibes. This is what we talking about. It's a matter of agreement and good communication between two mature lovers
Jalon’s entire section on the need for your partner to have a strong relationship with God to truly understand empathy and love was so refreshing and perfectly articulated. EVERYONE should be listening to this podcast!
The level of intellect and maturity from this conversation from black men is astounding. So glad I found this. This really gives me hope that there are still good men out there
I just love how y’all hold each other accountable and celebrate each other! O was looking at Jalon like a proud father when he was giving his explanation of how his woman makes him feel. I’m so proud of all three of y’all. It’s beautiful to see y’all boss each other up and hold each other to a higher standard! Man the questions on this show are sooooo good!! TOP TIER!!
FINALLY a podcast that appreciates black love, marriage, family. I enjoyed these brother’s talk about their women and the love they have. It does NOT make them simps either. Being in love and embracing your relationship is good for the soul.❤❤❤
My Man gives me the space to step into my femininity and in my femininity I give him peace love encouragement and I give our children a inspiring mother. A healthy relationship is the gift that keeps on giving.
Agreed wholeheartedly love, a lot of guys want you to submit to them like you would in marriage without committing to you in marriage lol blows my mind like get outta here little boy to make room for my husband 😅
I’m a woman and this just may be my new fav podcast. The authenticity, cohesiveness, apparent brotherhood and accountability from soulfully beautiful black men is so healing and inspiring. Love Nice & Neat!
This pod filled my heart yo! It’s so fulfilling and refreshing to listen to healthy, aware, accountable, mature and god fearing Black men who love and appreciate their women. Thank you for this!
Brittany (hope I spelled that right) is one lucky woman. Jalon's faith based answer at 33:42 was everything to me, especially with my own personal developments over the last year. Self love and self respect is sooo important because everything we say and do stems from that. But even more important than that is the source. I love that he didn't directly claim credit for her development because he gave all the glory to God. He showed her how to get to know God (through the word) and to cultivate a relationship with Him (through prayer). When you truly truly believe that God loves you, you learn to love Him and put your trust in Him...mannn the sky is the limit. It's going to be blessings on blessings. And that in turn will have a beautiful effect on all the people in her life (her man, her family, her friends, her colleagues, etc) she will be able to pour into. I love that for sis!🥰 I was blessed to have a man introduce me to the word, and though he didn't stick around to see the growth and he wasn't the man for me, I am forever grateful for that initial inspiration. I thank God for that blessing. Everything happens for a reason and you can learn a lesson from every person you encounter if you just pay attention. I hope I can go on to inspire others to get closer to God as well by simply sharing my testimony and being who God calls me to be. ❤️ Thanks for this wonderful episode guys. I know the Lord has a wonderful man of God waiting for me somewhere lol. Can't wait to meet him. 😊
Funny that Duke asked the question “how do you ask your women if she trust your leadership?”26:32. I literally asked my fiancé the same question about a week before this episode aired. I was not ashamed at all for asking nor was I afraid of what her answer would be. Thank God I received a “Certainly! You would know if I didn’t trust you” lol. But if I would have received a no from her I would have respectfully asked in what ways could I improve. That’s how we grow!
I really loved this episode and I learned so much. As a single woman aspiring to marriage and children I find so much value in intentional conversations on healthy relationships. It’s especially nice to see the perspective of black men and it just shows there are good men out there.
This came up as an ad. I am so thankful. Black men speaking openly about feelings & relationships is needed. I love this for us ❤ great podcast. Sharing this with others
Omg y’all exists!! I’m just discovering this channel what?? we still have men with this mentality in today’s society I’m mind blown! Good looking, God fearing, respectful, proper communication, discipline and committed ! Im happy for y’all. I pray God cover your family and marriage!
I love what y’all are doing for the culture. Thank you for helping to restore my faith in healthy, nurturing relationships w self and beyond. The little I know abt your ladies embodies everything you’ve touched on 🙏🏼🧡
This podcast is so relevant for our culture in relationships and emotional intelligence. This episode revealed a lot of positive and negatives in my own. I’m grateful! Keep being who you are as men, your women are so lucky to have you all
Such a beautiful way to articulate appreciation and love to their women! I love how in all 52 mins not one time did anybody mention anything about how their ladies look, or how her body is shaped, nothing superficial! 👏🏾 It was sooo refreshing to listen to BLACK MEN talk about what relationships really mean, and the important parts about partnership. No BS! These are the men that need a mic ! 🫶🏾
Yall really set a great example for men & this is so needed !! Men really need these types of conversations to exist for the betterment of relationships ..
Filled with gratitude for your examples of leadership in our community. I don't often get to listen to a group of black men uplift us in this way.... and also encourage each other's relationships in this way. We NEED more solution-based conversations like this that empathize with both sexes. This is such a nuanced dialogue with brilliant follow-up questions!!! Lots of meaningful substance in your provocative discussion. And shout out to your representations of black male masculinity👑!!! You hold yourselves accountable but you also take the lead in fostering a relationship environment in which there's a shared responsibility of holding each other accountable and trusting the other to inform their growth. Some of you have even taught your women how to pour into the relationship from the same healthy source and to trust their growth processes. Many of us have never encountered Black men who are equipped to lead us in this way nor willing to invest and pour into the development of their women. The ultimate model of masculinity doesn't seek to be protected by the comforts & conveniences that the ego provides, which, he is aware will arrest his development. And it's so important that we understand the value this information brings to our community so that healthy examples of black male leadership are being propagated, inspiring many to want to adopt a new narrative with healthier models of masculinity AND femininity. Shout out to you for leading with love and humility. God bless you and your women. #Lovethat4us #Blacklove🖤🤎🧡💛
It's so refreshing to hear men talk about relationships in a way that is healthy. There aren't many podcasts like this one unfortunately. Keep up the great work guys!
This is my first time watching this podcast & I balled the whole time. I JUST left a relationship that was nothing like this. This was so beautiful to hear men speak so highly of their women👏🏾
Wow I’m so impressed by the level of maturity and intelligence these men have. Great eye opening episode and I loooove how highly each of you spoke of your women!
It never gets old watching you all MEN the way you do. I love the safe space that you are creating for men to have these meaningful conversations. Thank you for the way you advocate for healthy Black Love too!
Thank you Jalon, we Black Women love our Black Men. Thank you for saying this. We’re not always bashing. I’m glad you all have loving women in your lives
Refreshing to hear these powerful black men to share their appreciation for their woman. Thank you for sharing this. We as women need to hear that the black men do love and appreciate us.
Great information. The questions he ask are on point, not one word answers. Men not afraid men just want to be chased…I see a lot men not happy and they are settling with whatever they can deal with.
Abba Father! Thank you for THIS Wife getting to witness this conversation amongst the brethren. THIS is Brotherhood! Such a beautiful conversation. I'm receiving so much!
Man… I have SO much gratitude for the 3 of you… your wisdom, self-awareness, intentionality, transparency, vulnerability, and your willingness to share these parts of yourselves with us strangers! I have learned so much valuable information about men that has not only helped me show up better as a woman, but that has also allowed me to appreciate and serve the men in my life better. Thank you all, seriously! Y’all are such a blessing!
Man this beautiful, I’ve recently cut off every fuck buddy and toxic friend who has a “men aren’t shit” attitude, and I’m already seeing fruit in my dating life. Taking notes on what your girls are doing right and looking for qualities I respect in a partner.
Levels to growth. Nothing happens over night but when you want something or someone it turns your level up to want to go harder. I’m glad I came across this but I wish I knew earlier on about this 😂 y’all be dropping gems
It’s always beneficial to hear the affirmations and to see the manifestation of the verbal through actions. Some people look at the verbal affirmation as needy or clingy etc… it’s not. It’s just another language expressing the same sentiments. Keep on sharing and learning bros. ✊🏾👍🏾
whew! It’s so refreshing to see a positive conversation amongst black ppl for once. No pointing of the fingers nor bashing of black women. I salute you young men for changing the narrative. The red pill community rhetoric is sooo exhausting
Oh my ❤god I’m I the only women listening that just to hear healed man this is such a healing podcast for us woman to understand our man I feel so good listening you
This was beautiful!! Such a positive reflection of Black Love, Black Romantic Love and Black Brotherly Love!! I would love to see more content like this! Keep up the great work guys, especially showing the vulnerable side of Black Men and demonstrating examples of healthy Black relationships!!
I live this podcast! It feels like a safe space for us women to come here and gain a man’s perspective. I really love their podcast. They drop so many gems 💎 Also I hope they have the women come back for a part 2 or as occasional guest every so often 🤭🫶🏼💕✨
I just came across this podcast and I love what you all demonstrate as emotionally mature black men. I am looking for a partner, who has emotional maturity, depth and ability to have hard conversations. There is hope!!!
This is my first time listening to this podcast and as a single woman it is good to hear from a man’s point of view on things that I already do that I need to continue and things that I need to be aware that men appreciate ❤
Been on my healing journey for quite some time, and as you know, you never done learning, so watching your podcast allows me to have hope, from being unhealed. I have chose the wrong partners, and I always felt misunderstood in my relationships, But also grew up in a household where I was misunderstood, so watching the 3 of you men talk, speak, and communicate makes me feel safe, & FINALLY Understood, and it feels good because a lot of things that you guys speak about were things that I have tried to implement into relationships and the unhealed guys made me feel like I was crazy or Still misunderstood, or just didn’t implement the healthy things that I was trying to implement in our relationship. So I knew what I didn’t want to deal with anymore and I knew what I wasn’t going to deal with anymore but I was also wondering would I actually find that man that really understood me? And seeing the 3 of you and hearing you all & of you being close to my age is like a breath of fresh air because I know that HE does exist and that everything is going to be OK. 🥰Thank you for sharing your thoughts your feelings and your vulnerability with us. I now continue to have hope.🙏🏾Great job like kings. 👑’s 🫡💙🖤💙
Can always expect a great conversation from you guys. I do indeed love this for y’all 😂🙌🏽🥃 (Felt Jalon when he said we better be taking notes! Have my notes app open right now. ✍🏾)
Good stuff!!! Love to see evolving men speak on their truth and with their vulnerability, This behavior is in need of much praise, thanks Guys! One love Brooklyn
I loved this episode! Very much needed! I’m dating a really great guy so I definitely appreciate the insight you 3 give about relationships, love, men, etc, everything from a man’s perspective! I definitely took some notes today! Can’t wait for the next episode!
UA-cam algorithm been hittin!! So many gender war videos on how bm don’t feel appreciated by bw & vice versus but until now, none explaining what makes them feel appreciated. I’ve flat out asked men and they too are stumped or reduce it merely to sexual favors 😂 thanks for filling in the blanks 🙏🏾
Y’all different!! I’m so happy I found this podcast! Y’all are changing the narrative of the black man. Thank you for your transparency and keep doing y’all! Love this!!!
One thing about N&N, they’re going to uplift Black women. Love that for us 🤎☺️

I just came across this podcast and I love what you all demonstrate as emotionally mature black men. I am looking for a partner, who has emotional maturity, depth and ability to have hard conversations. There is hope!!!
I love this black men opening about their women and their appreciation.
Leadership is not convenient ....that's a word right there!!

I love how positively y'all are speaking of black women. We love to see it!

I loved this episode! Very much needed! I’m dating a really great guy so I definitely appreciate the insight you 3 give about relationships, love, men, etc, everything from a man’s perspective! I definitely took some notes today! Can’t wait for the next episode!
See you next week! 🥃🥃🥃
I’m new here but this episode really touched my heart. And made me see how I can be a better partner
Welcome to the family! 🥃🥃🥃
Please continue to share this with your friends and family! 🥃🥃🥃
Loved this episode. Keep promoting healthy love. This generation needs it
We will! 🥃🥃🥃
