I have been watching your videos for about 3 months now and I think it's safe to say that I have learned more from you and this channel than I have with my entire life experience with relationships. Although I am not fully over her after 4 months, I have taken the necessary steps to work on myself and become the best and most secure version of myself. I cannot thank you all enough for putting these videos out... they truly did get me through some of the darkest days.

Hey Craig, 7.5 months in. In that time I’ve lost 85lbs, quit smoking and don’t really drink anymore. Got a promotion at work. Working on new certifications. Learned to love myself again. I’d love for her to come back, but I’m starting to move on and date others. She still creeps my socials, watches all my stories and mirrors my stories. But at the end of the day, I’m proud of my tremendous growth. I was a good person before. I’m a great person now. Weirdly, I want to thank her for giving me the kick I needed. But I won’t since I’ve been in NC.
As woman who was the dumper in almost all of her relationships...the ONLY one I regretted was the one where my ex wasn’t verbally or emotionally abusive. All the others would yell and scream and try to control me. Always getting upset about me going out with friends, etc. So if you were a good bf and didn’t make your gf feel trapped or deeply unhappy, she will regret it. For the others...she won’t miss you. Let her go.
Thank you for writing this! My ex gf broke up with me about 8 months ago. She lives about an hour from me. We never had an argument. I told her how I felt about her and she agreed that she felt the same. We talked about marriage once too. The big issue was that she didn’t want to move to be with me, and she didn’t like that I would keep my home since it was built on my family’s property which was in the family since the 30’s. I told her I wanted to work it out to be with her where she was. She just said it was to complicated to work out, so I didn’t push and just let her go. I have had absolutely no contact with her since. I love her and want her to be happy. I hope she reconsiders. Time will tell. Once again thanks for your comment. Wishing you the best!
i was in the same spot as many of you guys four years ago and i even had a coaching call with the coach which helped me very much. believe me when i say: most of you do not really want their ex back, you just think you do because you are in pain. i am with a waaaaay better woman now and that can and will happend to a lot of you guys as well. i wouldn´t take my ex back even if she would come crawling back to me on her knees. just learn your lessons and use them in your next relationship. good luck.
For me, it's been over 2 years since my ex and myself broke up. In those 2 years my life has changed so much for the better. I'm in such a happier place and found the healthy love that I've always looked for.

Ive lost a Gf in a car accident when i was 19 and my recent ex broke up with me after 2 years an is now with another guy after 2 weeks of the breakup we have been broken up for a month or so now. Despite this sounding crazy the gf i lost due to her accident was easier to recover from because it is final its the end there is nothing else that could happen like its over but the idea of my ex now who left is with another guy an threw away everything for him when he literally is nothing an cant offer her anything that is so much harder to get over i dunno I'm confused.

What coach Craig says towards the end of this video about working on yourself and learning your attachment style is so so true. And important. Me and my ex broke up last year because of my very anxious attachment style but he came back after 4 months and we got back together last November… Unfortunately as I write this we are back in a breakup. While we were separated I didn’t work on myself nor did I understand how my behaviors were destroying our relationship😔 So when he came back it was more of the same arguments. And now it’s been a month and half since he left. In 2 days it will be a full 30 days of no contact. And it hurts so bad. I really don’t have any hope he will come back a second time. But now I’m committed to working on myself to become a better me. Staying in no contact has been brutal this last month for me, but I hope one day it will stop hurting 💔 Thanks for the great videos coach Craig!
Have been watching Graig’s videos for almost a year now and I have to say you guys have helped a lot in easing the separation anxiety and also the depressions of feeling being abandoned by someone who was once the centre of my world. However I feel like it’s also very important to learn that sometimes people just move on and they never reach out (now or in the future) regardless how deep the connection used to be, which is brutal facts but acknowledging this helps to move on faster than hanging on the false hope that one day this person will come back with your Indefinite NC. It only prolongs the pain and dampers your mental health. Maybe trying to let go and forgive yourself, forgive that person, is the only way to move on towards a positive life and by then you can make faster personal growth.
you are right I find. It is definitely not always possible to go on with one's life as usual or even better soon after a break up -at least it wasn't for me in one case. But yes it is the right way... If then she or he doesn't reach out, that's fine. And if she /he does: We will see 😉
My ex came back after 1 year I had even blocked her on everything apart from text however I deleted her number . I spent one year doing no contact and growing the night before my ex texted me I was about to break no contact I hadn’t thought about her like I did it that moment but I didn’t break and in the morning I see a text from her asking to unblock me crazy right. Do these stages also happen with the over 50 people. My ex left me at a time where I was dealing with my son's addiction issues that consumed me in all senses. Yes. I was not able to give myself,emotionally or otherwise to my ex. who I loved dearly in our 13 year relationship. Miss him dearly.
I wonder, for the people who got back together with their ex, did you ever tell them how much the breakup affected you and what a bad place you were in for some time after the breakup? That you were depressed, couldn’t eat or sleep, couldn’t stop crying or thinking of them. Have you ever told them anything about that time?
No I don’t got into details. Because it can push them away hearing that you weren’t actually moving on. I will say that ‘I was sad and hurt about the breakup but ultimately I knew I needed to move forward and I was excited about new opportunities’. Just don’t overdue it...it’s on the dumper (not the dumpee) to bring the emotions they felt during the breakup to the conversation.

I didn’t mean right after a breakup but if you got back together and it came up maybe after months or years… I know you’re not supposed to show your weakness or that the breakup affected you right after, but it feels disingenuous to pretend like you were not that affected if you were.

About 6 YRS ago she left me, for about a Month I was chasing, begging, etc..until I realized that I was giving her the chane to humiliate me. So I stopped, within 2 months she found someone, moved in together and now after those years, they have a baby and married . We still have contact because we have kids together. I know her better than she knows herself, so I can tell her marriage is not as excited as it was in the beginning. She tries to have random convos , but I'm just interested in talk about my kids and nothing else. I've been single for a good time and I'm really happy where I am. Not looking but not going to stop it from happening. To those who just broke up, it will get better. How long will it take? Idk, but the most important thing is your well being. Do not put any effort I someone who threw you away because you were not needed in thier life.

After 16 yrs of being together.... he broke up with me. For TWO YEARS now he sends a text or checks in with me about a week to ten days. This break up has been very traumatic for me. It's interesting why he doesn't just leave me alone and never talk to me again? I do hope we end up together but have given up on the reality of it happening. We are older- hes 67 and I 58. This breakup happened after his mother passed and he inherited her fortune. Thank goodness for your channel - it has kept me going for sometime now.
I've been watching your videos since my ex broke up with me about 2 weeks ago. We were together for a year and a half. He was living with his parents when we met. Him and his brother moved into his parents rental property next door. I moved in about 4 months into the relationship. We were talking about marriage and looking at rings 3 weeks before the breakup. I have found out about 3 different proposal plans he had been working on. He went out with his friends one night, and everything was different after that. He broke up with me about a week or 2 later. Me and his mom feel that he got cold feet because he never got to experience truly being on his own. He turned 21 during the lockdowns last year. He is now living alone and going out somewhere every night. These videos have helped me understand what he's dealing with without going directly to him.

The perception of 'time slowing down' is probably based on the overactive sympathetic nervous system, and the consequential neurochemical release of norepinephrine (a hormone which is modulates attention) and forms part of the parasympathetic nervous system. This is just a theory, but if the stressor is greater then it would make sense that more norepinephrine is forcibly released to regulate the nervous system. Greater attention would give the effect of a higher frame rate, therefore becoming more susceptible to time. Like I say, just a theory :)

She's constantly interfering in pretty much every aspect of her son's life. She badmouths everyone around him and she's possessive of his time and he's attention. I would say she's probably euphoric I'm out of the picture. Let's say I won't hold my breath for his return...

Hey coaches, I absolutely love your videos and they are such a great source of education and also a great strength 🙏🏻 thank so much for the efforts you put in. Of all the videos I have seen they all seem to be based from the same perspective ie: that someone ended the relationship.... But how about doing a video based on couples that have reached as mutual decision that a parting was the best option and left on friendly terms, what would be the scenario for these guys if one decides they have made a mistake and can see many of their own errors, would one wait to reply and still keep doing no contact etc or would it be different in this circumstance and you reach out? Just the perspective of a couple that split friendly and one has decided they would like to get the other back. No contact for 4years. Come on guys if a relationship is over its over There's no such bullshit as focusing on yourself etc they will one day have an epiphany etc Not every ex will come back. No contact work for women more than men. Don't get sold into all the coaching hype. Alot of it has nothing to do with you as well. All the do you focus on you shit will not work if a person has already moved on. Besides youre always gonna have to do you anyways. So all these youtube videos are just majority of them feel good bandaids. But do whatever helps you feel better even if its not accurate or completely truthful.
Can you make a video on how to come back from post-breakup mistakes? My ex had confusing behavior for about a month following the breakup and would talk to me for hours and hours on end. We both go to the same school and we ran into each other all the time, which definitely didn’t help the situation. Also a friend of hers (not romantic) was extremely involved in the breakup and just made everything so much more complicated and me even more anxious about everything than I already was. I’m just wondering if, based on the situation, it’s possible to come back from these confusing/messy situations overall. We had a solid relationship for about 2 and a half years that disintegrated over the course of a couple of months due to my own confusion on what I wanted in a relationship and never having been with another person before scared me going into the future.

What do you do if your ex keeps reaching out every 2 weeks to check how you are doing? I am so mad at him for breaking up with me yet not leaving me alone, but I know he really cares about me and loves me but for his own reasons thinks our relationship can’t work. He still wants us to be in each other’s lives and he keeps saying he will always be there for me if I need him and that he will never find someone as great as me. I told him we can’t be friends and I don’t want to be in touch casually, but he keeps reaching out (probably once his anxiety sets in and he wants that relief of hearing from me) and then disappearing again. We are long distance and can’t meet and are both not in a good place mentally. This is hell.
He’s trying to make himself feel better when it’s convenient. You need to go No contact for at least a month until he can stop being hot and cold with you. It’s extremely unfair to you.

My ex used to always block me after every small fight and then would unblock me . With time I started feeling anxious because of this and always used to go around the block and convince him to get back together . He always did usually after 2-3 days . He used to say mean things during fight and after resolving it , he said those things didn't mean anything so i believed him . This time also he blocked me after telling me he is breaking up with me , as usual i tried to get around the block and tried to convince him for 9 days after breakup but nothing worked . So after a year of a great relationship, I thought, my girlfriend told me she was done and wanted a break. She said she loves me but cannot handle the fact that my mom is a Democrat and that I had been acting negative lately. She is an alcoholic and was under the influence when she did the break up. I told her that I don’t do break ups in relationships that I don’t wanna break and when she figures out what the F she wants to let me know. I have not heard from her for a week. I am not going to call her she broke it she had to fix it. The hardest part is wondering if she thinks I’m mad at her or is she actually wants the break. And I have a set of golf clubs in her garage and I’m not sure if I should contact her to get them from her or not at this time.
I wouldn't get into anything serious with an addict unless she's in recovery of sorts. I dated an alcoholic for 5 years and it was a nightmare. He died from it and he was young. I feel for you but you have to let her go. What helped me change and improve my life was my decision to completely give my life to Jesus Christ. I am deeply fulfilled and in my calling/ assignment.

My partner and I just broke up. We agreed that we would have NC until December, but personally I don't want to message him until he messages me first. He expressed to me that he still wants to be friends, still want to exchange chirstmas gifts and come by for my birthday in February. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I know for a fact that I want to keep the contact minimal as possible so that he realizes he doesn't conveniently have access to me. Would this work? This is definitely a bad idea. He wants to do whatever he wants to do and have you as a backup in case his plans doesn't work out. Don't exchange gifts or have him see you on your birthday. Hey Craig, 7.5 months in. In that time I’ve lost 85lbs, quit smoking and don’t really drink anymore. Got a promotion at work. Working on new certifications. Learned to love myself again. I’d love for her to come back, but I’m starting to move on and date others. She still creeps my socials, watches all my stories and mirrors my stories. But at the end of the day, I’m proud of my tremendous growth. I was a good person before. I’m a great person now. Weirdly, I want to thank her for giving me the kick I needed. But I won’t since I’ve been in NC.

As woman who was the dumper in almost all of her relationships...the ONLY one I regretted was the one where my ex wasn’t verbally or emotionally abusive. All the others would yell and scream and try to control me. Always getting upset about me going out with friends, etc. So if you were a good bf and didn’t make your gf feel trapped or deeply unhappy, she will regret it. For the others...she won’t miss you. Let her go.
Thank you for writing this! My ex gf broke up with me about 8 months ago. She lives about an hour from me. We never had an argument. I told her how I felt about her and she agreed that she felt the same. We talked about marriage once too. The big issue was that she didn’t want to move to be with me, and she didn’t like that I would keep my home since it was built on my family’s property which was in the family since the 30’s. I told her I wanted to work it out to be with her where she was. She just said it was to complicated to work out, so I didn’t push and just let her go. I have had absolutely no contact with her since. I love her and want her to be happy. I hope she reconsiders. Time will tell. Once again thanks for your comment. Wishing you the best!

Unfortunately as I write this we are back in a breakup. While we were separated I didn’t work on myself nor did I understand how my behaviors were destroying our relationship😔 So when he came back it was more of the same arguments. And now it’s been a month and half since he left. In 2 days it will be a full 30 days of no contact. And it hurts so bad. I really don’t have any hope he will come back a second time. But now I’m committed to working on myself to become a better me. Staying in no contact has been brutal this last month for me, but I hope one day it will stop hurting 💔 Thanks for the great videos coach Craig!
Have been watching Graig’s videos for almost a year now and I have to say you guys have helped a lot in easing the separation anxiety and also the depressions of feeling being abandoned by someone who was once the centre of my world.
However I feel like it’s also very important to learn that sometimes people just move on and they never reach out (now or in the future) regardless how deep the connection used to be, which is brutal facts but acknowledging this helps to move on faster than hanging on the false hope that one day this person will come back with your Indefinite NC. It only prolongs the pain and dampers your mental health. Maybe trying to let go and forgive yourself, forgive that person, is the only way to move on towards a positive life and by then you can make faster personal growth.
you are right I find. It is definitely not always possible to go on with one's life as usual or even better soon after a break up -at least it wasn't for me in one case. But yes it is the right way... If then she or he doesn't reach out, that's fine. And if she /he does: We will see 😉
My ex came back after 1 year I had even blocked her on everything apart from text however I deleted her number . I spent one year doing no contact and growing the night before my ex texted me I was about to break no contact I hadn’t thought about her like I did it that moment but I didn’t break and in the morning I see a text from her asking to unblock me crazy right. They do think about you and my ex came back and I did the hand written letter, sent cards and flowers etc none of it works no contact, time and distance all key. No I don’t got into details. Because it can push them away hearing that you weren’t actually moving on. I will say that ‘I was sad and hurt about the breakup but ultimately I knew I needed to move forward and I was excited about new opportunities’. Just don’t overdue it...it’s on the dumper (not the dumpee) to bring the emotions they felt during the breakup to the conversation.

About 6 YRS ago she left me, for about a Month I was chasing, begging, etc..until I realized that I was giving her the chane to humiliate me. So I stopped, within 2 months she found someone, moved in together and now after those years, they have a baby and married .
We still have contact because we have kids together.

To clear some things up, if it has been four years of no contact, your ex already has a new boyfriend and she is pregnant with his kid, she probably isn’t going to reach out. I watched all the videos, did all the workbooks, followed all the rules. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.

After 16 yrs of being together.... he broke up with me. For TWO YEARS now he sends a text or checks in with me about a week to ten days. This break up has been very traumatic for me. It's interesting why he doesn't just leave me alone and never talk to me again? I do hope we end up together but have given up on the reality of it happening. We are older- hes 67 and I 58. This breakup happened after his mother passed and he inherited her fortune. Thank goodness for your channel - it has kept me going for sometime now.

I've been watching your videos since my ex broke up with me about 2 weeks ago. We were together for a year and a half. He was living with his parents when we met. Him and his brother moved into his parents rental property next door. I moved in about 4 months into the relationship. We were talking about marriage and looking at rings 3 weeks before the breakup. I have found out about 3 different proposal plans he had been working on. He went out with his friends one night, and everything was different after that. He broke up with me about a week or 2 later. Me and his mom feel that he got cold feet because he never got to experience truly being on his own. He turned 21 during the lockdowns last year. He is now living alone and going out somewhere every night. These videos have helped me understand what he's dealing with without going directly to him.

The perception of 'time slowing down' is probably based on the overactive sympathetic nervous system, and the consequential neurochemical release of norepinephrine (a hormone which is modulates attention) and forms part of the parasympathetic nervous system. This is just a theory, but if the stressor is greater then it would make sense that more norepinephrine is forcibly released to regulate the nervous system. Greater attention would give the effect of a higher frame rate, therefore becoming more susceptible to time. Like I say, just a theory :)

Hey coaches, I absolutely love your videos and they are such a great source of education and also a great strength 🙏🏻 thank so much for the efforts you put in. Of all the videos I have seen they all seem to be based from the same perspective ie: that someone ended the relationship.... But how about doing a video based on couples that have reached as mutual decision that a parting was the best option and left on friendly terms, what would be the scenario for these guys if one decides they have made a mistake and can see many of their own errors, would one wait to reply and still keep doing no contact etc or would it be different in this circumstance and you reach out?
Just the perspective of a couple that split friendly and one has decided they would like to get the other back. I have not seen any vids with this perspective in mind and I would love and really appreciate you guys take on that situation.

Not every ex will come back. No contact work for women more than men. Don't get sold into all the coaching hype. Alot of it has nothing to do with you as well. All the do you focus on you shit will not work if a person has already moved on. Besides youre always gonna have to do you anyways. So all these youtube videos are just majority of them feel good bandaids. But do whatever helps you feel better even if its not accurate or completely truthful.

My ex had confusing behavior for about a month following the breakup and would talk to me for hours and hours on end. We both go to the same school and we ran into each other all the time, which definitely didn’t help the situation. Also a friend of hers (not romantic) was extremely involved in the breakup and just made everything so much more complicated and me even more anxious about everything than I already was. I’m just wondering if, based on the situation, it’s possible to come back from these confusing/messy situations overall.
We had a solid relationship for about 2 and a half years that disintegrated over the course of a couple of months due to my own confusion on what I wanted in a relationship and never having been with another person before scared me going into the future.

What do you do if your ex keeps reaching out every 2 weeks to check how you are doing? I am so mad at him for breaking up with me yet not leaving me alone, but I know he really cares about me and loves me but for his own reasons thinks our relationship can’t work. He still wants us to be in each other’s lives and he keeps saying he will always be there for me if I need him and that he will never find someone as great as me. I told him we can’t be friends and I don’t want to be in touch casually, but he keeps reaching out (probably once his anxiety sets in and he wants that relief of hearing from me) and then disappearing again. We are long distance and can’t meet and are both not in a good place mentally. This is hell.

My ex used to always block me after every small fight and then would unblock me . With time I started feeling anxious because of this and always used to go around the block and convince him to get back together . He always did usually after 2-3 days . He used to say mean things during fight and after resolving it , he said those things didn't mean anything so i believed him .
This time also he blocked me after telling me he is breaking up with me , as usual i tried to get around the block and tried to convince him for 9 days after breakup but nothing worked . Now I am in NC for 23 days and I really don't know if he will come back or not .
He also told me he is attracted to someone else , but I am not sure if that is true or not ..

So after a year of a great relationship, I thought, my girlfriend told me she was done and wanted a break. She said she loves me but cannot handle the fact that my mom is a Democrat and that I had been acting negative lately. She is an alcoholic and was under the influence when she did the break up. I told her that I don’t do break ups in relationships that I don’t wanna break and when she figures out what the F she wants to let me know. I have not heard from her for a week. I am not going to call her she broke it she had to fix it. The hardest part is wondering if she thinks I’m mad at her or is she actually wants the break. And I have a set of golf clubs in her garage and I’m not sure if I should contact her to get them from her or not at this time.
I wouldn't get into anything serious with an addict unless she's in recovery of sorts. I dated an alcoholic for 5 years and it was a nightmare. He died from it and he was young. I feel for you but you have to let her go. What helped me change and improve my life was my decision to completely give my life to Jesus Christ. I am deeply fulfilled and in my calling/ assignment.
