16 Weeks left in 2023! You inspired me with that. I hadn't thought of that, but wouldn't it be amazing to BEGIN the new year by having dropped the 20 lbs that I would have made a resolution. I'm all over this!

Day one for me, spent cleaning out my cupboards, boxing up food items that I will donate, throwing others in the garbage. All the meat in my freezer is being gifted to a meat eater. Watching videos and getting ideas, going grocery shopping and ordering online. I’m going to give it my all for a few months to see if I can’t bring down my blood pressure and cholesterol. I know I will enjoy the new way of eating and I know I will miss the ice cream! Oh, and by the way, if I can start this at 76 YO, you are right, it’s never too late!

I love pilates reformer and have my own reformer at home now for daily sessions--yipee! My husband and I dance ballroom and swing about 2 hours each week. He runs. I jog. And at 62, it is so great to find physical activity we enjoy and can keep doing it for many more years. I've been eating WFPB since the end of 2020 and I really enjoy it. We jus finished a challenging hiking trip through Glacier National Park, and I ate vegan but it was a challenge being in remote in-park venues where the restaurants were not restocking food because it was end-of-season. The amount and variety of veggies was lacking. Thank goodness for baked potatoes at Wendy's for our very long road trip home. Where there is a will to eat whole plant foods, there is a way. I was so happy to get home and eat lots of greens and non starchy vegetables!
Wow! Sounds like you have a great routine going. Glacier National Park is so beautiful. It can be tough sometimes to find plant based choices and even harder to find whole food plant based in the wilderness. Way to stick to it even in a challenging situation. Wendy's has saved my a time or two. Thank you so much for sharing.
I just heard Dr. McDougall say, his way of eating is not a Whole Foods Plant based eating plan, he said his eating plan is a Starch Plan..........He called himself a Starchivore
Yes, but it is still whole food plant based. My diet is starch based as well and I say Whole food plant based. To me it's all the same.😃
