Dr. Ekberg, please make a video on how a skinny T2D gain a bit of weight. Would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
So complete and for me so timely, thank you for your fantastic work!
Would you have a video that puts together how to deal with colon cancer? I understand keto + cortisol management (this one! 💓) + cruciferous vegetables + antioxidants -, what else?
@@jannesmith192 wow I've never met a skinny type 2 diabetic!! That's unusual.
Great information, God bless you Dr, Ekberg.

Being poor is stressful
Root/core issue for me was an abusive x husband...lived in flight or fight mode for years...he was seriously slowly killing me and my adrenal fatigure and lack of cortisol production were my signs. I left -healed my body and becoming better and better every day. People don't talk about this enough when it comes to relationships - you must leave them in order to heal not only your mind but your body as well.
Agreed 👍 still healing ❤
Me too
Stress causes you excess cortisol, not a lack of, just so you understand, cortisol in excess is stress, , I'm glad you broke free, and hope you do well now .
I am living in that response, and I am looking at lowering it. Because I would really would feel better.
👍 agreed. And that's traumatic. Abuse is horrible.

Stress is just another word for fear. And fear is almost always a response to an exaggerated threat.
Dr Ekberg, You are the first person I've ever heard say that the Frontal Lobe turns off the Stress Response.
I suffered a Brain Injury in 1994, now dealing with Anxiety and Panic ever since. And after 28 years I now have

Years ago my weight got out of control, and my blood sugar, when I worked overnights. I could not lose an ounce of weight back then. I’m sure it was cortisol, and not just insulin/ T2D. I am still working on decreasing stress, glad to have found these videos!!
A TRUE teacher here boys and girls.
What a jewel of a person this Doctor is.
The kind of person this messed up world needs right now.....Not the one we deserve, but definitely THE ONE WE NEED 🙏🙏
Brilliant! Brilliant! Since 1986, when my father died I had been training Malaysian executives on stress management. I retired in 2001 when my husband died. Man! do I know about grief as a stressor. Dr Eberg, you are the best ! Well done! You are so knowledgeable and communicate your ideas so well. I have been listening to you for the past week and truly you are the best.
Listening to you reduces my cortisol! Your videos are so comprehensive and informative and the manner in which you communicate is pure. Thank you !
Now that's cute😸😼
I went to a lavender festival in cherry valley ca...this festival was located within close proximity to acres of lavender fields...just the continuous scent of lavender was enough to keep me calm and so contented through the day.
As we used to say here in the UK, ''laughter is the best medicine'' There is a deep truth in this that people have forgotten.
Stress has been the number one challenge of my life. This video has given me more insight into what I have to do to regain my health than almost anything else I've been exposed to. Although I've lost almost 40 pounds on a keto diet, I'm not truly healthy unless I learn how to deal with chronic stress. Thanks so much Dr. Eckberg!
congrats!

Have you ever tried Lithium orotate? It helps deal with stress and anxiety. Its OTC. 5 to 10 mg is suffice. DIM also helps.
12:13 Stabilizing blood sugar, Chromium Picolinate with B-6, and minerals worked wonders for me.
Test for b6 before supplementing. Mine goes from too high to too low
Best to supplement with magnesium malate and chromium polynicotinate along with meals to stabilize blood sugar...
Berberine may be helpful. Apparently it stimulates AMP in the cell which helps glucose metabolism in the cells.

What minerals

This is an under rated video that deserves alot of views and focus to anybody dealing with psychological issues as well. After an year of anxiety and another year of medication and still getting those bursts.. learning and practicing things that actually helped me. All of it is summed up here , I'm yet to try more of nutrients like magnesium, but exercise, focus on gut health, breathing (box, sudarshan kriya) if stress is like fire, all these are like water shower, though we think how are they gonna help with stress, they are not addressing the cause of stress ...but these are magical things that changes our view, or equips us to handle things with ease. I wish I had seen this video earlier.
My husband has a high stress job and gets very little sleep. He had two major episodes that really scared him so we got bloodwork done. It showed his A1c was 5.8. He immediately went off of sugars and carbs not coming from vegetables and started working on sleeping and breathing. It has been 3 weeks and he still gets shaky when his blood sugar drops. Thank you for all of this information. We are hopeful that things will improve soon.
Have some saltines on hand for him. Im the same way.
He could try DIM 100mg. It helps cortisol and high estrogen.
I break my OMAD fast daily by watching any of your videos, best Brain Stimulus ever!

I listen to this channel every day! The only drawback is it ruined majority of other channels being superior on so many ways 👍
I've just realized when people are stressed telling them to "calm down" doesn't work. It is infact likely to push stress up.
Reading my Bible and prayer is the most effective way for me to reduce stress. If you give you problems to the Lord, He will in turn give you peace. That’s a lot easier than 25 other things that just take more time and resources … which is probably part of the reason we are stressed to begin with.
I think you are a very kind person to give us all this valuable information, thank you.from the bottom of my heart.
Agree

Absolutely the best vid on adrenal fatigue I've ever seen. Thanks doc, you rock!
Topic: As an Olympic Decathlete and Holistic Doctor, you would know about, and have personal experience, this. Strength building in conjunction with a ketogenic nutritional program.
My personal interest in this is diagnoses of MS and Type 2 Diabetes. I've lowered A1C from 12.9 to 6.4 in 10 weeks, gone from 250 to 185 lbs in 5 months (since March) and feel like I can start to exercise now (and have started 30-minute, overall body, resistance band workout) to overcome muscle atrophy in right leg, neuropathy in feet, overall weakness, etc. Seeing many positive results already
Good job!!!
Inspiring!
Wayne Rogers for muscle atrophy, joints...check into acupressure. I had neurologists, all kinds of specialists making money on tests or whatsoever attest that I am close to a paraplegic and there is no need to test again. Accidentally in Singapore I ran into a reflexologist who after an hour rubbing at one same location in between toes, I walked out with no pain for the rest of my life. I didn't know Keto then and many acupressure practitioners are vegetarians eating one meal a day. I vowed never go back to those specialists, only listen to Dr Eikberg, my favorite and practice acupressure daily besides the list of things shown on this video. Life is perfect and I'm grateful. Check out the temples. The monks are not there to make money. You have to see their practice to believe. Know that they can show you how to cure because they believe if anything comes back within 6 months then they did not cure anything. Trust me, you will be cured.
Great job, Wayne. I am dealing with many of the same issues.
What is it this crazy habit of not eating carbs ? Carbs are not the problem.
