Root/core issue for me was an abusive x husband...lived in flight or fight mode for years...he was seriously slowly killing me and my adrenal fatigure and lack of cortisol production were my signs. I left -healed my body and becoming better and better every day. People don't talk about this enough when it comes to relationships - you must leave them in order to heal not only your mind but your body as well.

Screaming helps too. I bike to de-compress and de-stress. I live near DC National Airport and one time I was too stressed out and for a moment I thought I was going to "lose it". I was riding on a bike path right along the airport, I stopped briefly and just screamed at the top of my lungs. Nobody can hear you because of the airplanes engines noise, so I just composed myself, I immediately felt better, and kept on a much happier bike ride. Good exercise screaming 😄

This is an under rated video that deserves alot of views and focus to anybody dealing with psychological issues as well. After an year of anxiety and another year of medication and still getting those bursts.. learning and practicing things that actually helped me. All of it is summed up here , I'm yet to try more of nutrients like magnesium, but exercise, focus on gut health, breathing (box, sudarshan kriya) if stress is like fire, all these are like water shower, though we think how are they gonna help with stress, they are not addressing the cause of stress ...but these are magical things that changes our view, or equips us to handle things with ease. I wish I had seen this video earlier.

My personal interest in this is diagnoses of MS and Type 2 Diabetes. Wayne Rogers for muscle atrophy, joints...check into acupressure. I had neurologists, all kinds of specialists making money on tests or whatsoever attest that I am close to a paraplegic and there is no need to test again. Accidentally in Singapore I ran into a reflexologist who after an hour rubbing at one same location in between toes, I walked out with no pain for the rest of my life. I didn't know Keto then and many acupressure practitioners are vegetarians eating one meal a day. I vowed never go back to those specialists, only listen to Dr Eikberg, my favorite and practice acupressure daily besides the list of things shown on this video. Life is perfect and I'm grateful. Check out the temples. The monks are not there to make money. You have to see their practice to believe. Know that they can show you how to cure because they believe if anything comes back within 6 months then they did not cure anything. Trust me, you will be cured.

I picked up weight after my son was senselessly murdered. I just beat cancer (caused by stress) and I’m still gaining weight. I watch what I eat, I’ve been drinking water, walking, went to the doctor and gained 3 pounds, which is adding to more stress and depression. I don’t know how to let go. We didn’t even get efficient justice. I internalized it. I’ve been to counseling…This is horrible! I’m super petite. I’ve never been this big in my life

I used to manage a health supplement shop, and ginseng was marketed to us as an energising agent that stimulates the body, like caffeine in many ways. It can cause diarrhoea, insomnia, headaches, rapid heartbeat, blood pressure fluctuations, and more. To anyone reading this, please be careful with ginseng, especially if you haven’t used it before. Personally, I wouldn’t use it for stress, especially if you suffer from anxiety to any degree.
Some studies seem to say it might be useful in treating stress and regulating certain body rhythms, but from years of personal experience in dealing with customers who have tried it, it appears the opposite is often true. It makes many people’s bodies react as if they are in fight or flight mode. Very stress inducing!

Lots of loss, sorrow and I feel the best when I work and do something, help someone, I'm also an artist. At the same time working very hard, and having so many responsibilities, and a horrible society I lived in until 8 yrs ago. I'm for sure working for a long time to get back on track, I'm tired of pain, inflammation, stiff shoulders, anxiety when I'm tired and cannot do more. I need to pay more attention on recovery in between heavy efforts but it's not always possible. Speechless! So much truth and meaning in this video Dr Ekberg. So many things which we have forgotten. It's funny how a breathing exercise I learnt in 2003 actually mentioned breathing out and holding the breath as activating the para sympathetic nervous system. And I'd been skimping on it in the past number of years. At that time I didn't know about Cortisol, GH and weight-loss. I'd been doing Keto for a long time with not much result and then in the past year or so got lazy and gained back the weight. Now have again started again. It's most definitely been the cortisol. Since I got married and shifted home my sleep wake cycles changed cz of my husband. Now I need to go back to my old ways of sleeping at least by 11. He's such a night bird but it will need to be done for me by me. I have tests scheduled for Cortisol etc. Hope to surprise my doctor with good results. Funny how a small change can change everything. Thank you Dr Sten... Will follow and make things right again 🤗🤗
