It's always been like that, life is suffering. just look at how nature is, animals dying horrible deaths, plants suffocating, burning or getting eaten, fish hunted or smothered by algae, bacteria capable of sickening plants, fungi or animals a trillion times larger that they are, and yet besieged by bacteriophages...
Life is the eternal struggle to live at the expense of others, is has been nothing more and nothing less for billions of years.
Yet we've only become to realize such in the last few thousand years or so: aware of how cruel life can be, compounded by malevolence of our peers.
      Still, we dream, we hope.

@Rick Lane he has depression and he cured it with diet and analysing it, but it's genetic so he has to stay strong and vigilant all the time. He is a human he gave in once because of his injury i think, so what, we are all humans we all make mistakes. It doesn't make his lessons untrue

    • @ytadd9414
      @ytadd9414 4 роки тому

@Rick Lane 1. Curing hereditary depression doesn't mean it goes away and you can live your life however you want to, change of diet or a major life event can trigger it. Some people's depression needs active life long work to keep it at bay.
      2. The drug prescribed for his injury, if it's an opiate, has a tendency to make addicts out of people because that's what opiates do. And most of the time for injuries opiates or similar drugs are prescribed.
      3. People already having depression or a mental disorder can find it difficult to wean themselves off the drug. So think how dangerous the drug might be if a person like jbp got addicted.
      4. It's not necessary that only people with depression get addicted to drugs, even people with no mental disorders history can get addicted. So cut him some slack and look at him as a human being who is trying his best to keep the depression at bay. He gave in once and paid the price for it.

Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

Understanding you are not alone is the greatest feeling ever. Honestly, life is absolutely horrifying, painful. But, when the pain is gone, as they say, something else takes it place.
To me, the trick is, the lesson to be learned, is not allow it to make you bitter and angry. Being kind, despite the pain, is absolutely incredible to me. We are a violent species, but so are most species. How we rose above the rest, is communication. The better we communicate, the better off we are.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole life. I became a better version of myself
This experience gave me a lot of confidence about myself and my body. A bunch of bad thought/behavior patterns were broken. One of these were pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that thing will be fine, this is one thing that I heard throughout the trip; Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me(although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before.

The way he speaks and articulates his thoughts is powerful and the message is even stronger. Courage. But not the standard definition of courage. A more real and plausible explanation of it and how I can apply it to my life in tough situations. Love it. Love her.

That's why we have religion in this world (and so many incompatible varieties of religion). And, no I've never felt offended by anything Peterson has said ... I'm not easy to offend. In fact, I agree with Peterson on many points, such as his opposition to compelled language and his concerns about some aspects of leftist ideology. My issue is around consistency and hypocrisy. Here's a man who stood on a soapbox to tell people how to live their lives with responsibility and be strong and resilient, and it ultimately transpired that he didn't have a whole lot of resilience himself (nor the foresight and discipline one would expect from a behavioural scientist as concerns substance addiction). There is an absolute difference between a fearful sort of nervous, guilty conscience, daring of being.. VS a planned, sure of yourself, honest, responsible, moral step forward in terms off peace of mind. The light hearted mind in play is a definite goal to work at along with an intentional excited anxiety or energy. I worked at relaxing from fearful predatory mental states and into what I called a "host anxiety" where I was like in an acting mode, trying to be loud, boisterous, excited, selling my ideas, boldly narrating my stories or jokes as I played my character in life.. and I found the beautiful fool's positive anxiety of being.. as opposed to a negative dagger of the mind, tax on being, more stressful anxiety.

Working out and beating anxiety I think have similar "battle plans"; through determination and pain you make yourself physically stronger, and through determination and mental pain you make yourself mentally stronger. Both require getting out of your comfort zone and facing pain to become stronger, so maybe by starting a rigorous workout plan you can translate that to the social anxiety and beat that too

Alone in your own space blocks all negative thought and clear up the mind to what your feeling. Whats real and not? Peace of mind. I think most of time its people around you that know you how to trigger that emotion. You will see it when they start to smirk as they notice your face going into a traumatic state. Just leave asap as soon as you see that evil smirk. you will get worse if you stay they wont stop until they see your face lost. Then you get more anxiety cause you feel alone and didnt get closure cause you are afraid of being judge and laugh at. wondering if its in your head. Its only real at the begging and evetually go further and start to feel helpless and your their by yourself wondering am i right or wrong? I think you are right when you see the smirk as they know your getting hurt or make a stupid excuse to how your feeling. People who dont know you have anxiety will take a step back or pull their head back like what is this guy talking about and thats when you know its your anxiety kiking in and its all in your head just keep quite and just listen and dont answer anything you will just embarrasse yourself. but its someone or something that is triggering it.

You see the problem? Life needs to be lived bold. If I live life bold I might die, it might be dangerous and risky. Yes that's life. Fearlessness doesn't really mean that you never experience the feeling of fear. Fearlessness means more so that you experience the fear but you don't succumb to it. You don't let it de-spirit you. You don't let it change your decision. So like for example when I started my first business I was scared to start it. It was risky, it was dangerous and yet despite that I started it anyways, that's what counts as fearlessness. See when you see some cute girl at the grocery store and you want to go talk to her it's okay if you have fear but you push yourself to go talk to her anyways. That's still fearlessness. What's true fearfulness is when you have that fear but then you say oh well then i shouldn't go talk to her at all. That's when you succumb to your fear and in that situation that's when your life starts to go downhill so there you go, that's one of the keys to life.
