@@legendking2676it’s always better living in peace whiles having the ability to rise up and fight than to be helpless when the hard times do come around. And life will always have its battles. It doesn’t have to be literal war and bloodshed. You take the quote too literally.
I am the quiet man at the bar that everyone gives respect to because I am the hardened warrior that seeks peace after a lifetime of war. My battles were not in a far away land but in my childhood home. My father feared me because he knew the potential for me to turn into a killer like others in the family but I became the demon with a soul capable of horrors in the name of peace. I almost killed my father many times but stopped before crossing that line. It seems he could've used me as example A for how to live your life
Wow. I can't believe it took me so long to discover this guy. If someone had told me this when I was 14 or 15 it would have changed my life. He's a hero... He's literally saving lives and helping thousands and thousands of people... And has totally sacrificed his normal and comfortable life to do so. Pretty sure he's sitting in front of a commission with his license on the line as I write this.
Fortunately (on the one hand), he has developed enough of a variety of projects of various types in order that he will (or at least can)manage to sustain himself regardless of what happens regarding his “license”. However (on the other hand), he must fight against the unreasonable attacks against himself, simply as a matter of principle…. and, ironically enough, as a matter of the very principles which he is discussing in this video.
But it may be better if Dr. Peterson gives up his license so that He's not obligated to follow the rules of a corrupt, tyrannical, and power hungry group of ideologues. His license currently only serves as shackles.
We do not work with the demons or devil, if you have something evil within u pray for the spirit to cleanse you and cast it away. Don't give any power to the devil or he'll take advantage when you lose faith in God.
I've grown to really respect Jordan. He's one of the few guys in the mainstream who has this kind of message, he's not afraid to stand on his point in the face of this pussified world we live in today.
I was bullied for 3 years I was a small guy (imagine a 14 year old guy who's only 5ft and around 100lbs) so I was bullied even by girls. Never fought in my life and was taught to never hit a girl. At one moment I became tired of everything and decided to practice martial arts. I guess you could say it was my first conscious decision I've made myself. I thought of it myself,I signed up myself and I did it for myself. I haven't done MMA in almost 3 years now, but I do still workout(can't reach consistency due to health complications). And I have to admit that it's true about becoming a monster. Once you get that confidence, strength, violence...People around you might notice it before you. I still haven't fought once, because my bullies have realised that I'm not prey anymore. It's hard not to notice when a skinny small kid gains 20lbs of muscle and 6 inches to height. It just scared them off... I've been to a few unpleasant situations after that, but it never ended up with violence, because it's not your size that matters, it's how you act in a stressful environment

I watched a documentary on the Nuremberg trials a while back. They were interviewing a Jewish man who was in tears at the end of the sentencing. He was a concentration camp survivor, and the only one left alive of his entire family. The reporter asked him, 'Are you crying because you are happy that justice has been served'? What he said stuck with me and relates to what JP is talking about. He replied, 'No. I'm not crying because I'm happy. I'm crying because I have the same heart as them.' In other words, he was upset with himself because he wanted vengeance and wanted to see these soldiers exterminated for what they put him through. He had found his shadow and it scared the hell out of him.
This man is becoming so wise and insightful. A true leader and a great psychologist. I’m so grateful for this. You’re right when you said that virtue and righteousness means the world is your responsibility.
“You either have it or it has you” 💯 It takes a certain level of self control, awareness, discipline and introspection to acknowledge that part of yourself and get a handle on it. Much rather be a warrior and choose not to act on it than to be incapable of being a warrior.
My parents taught me this. My Mom was Military and my Father was a Missionary. Both of them said to know and be proficient in violence but to use it judiciously. They exposed me to Theology, Philosophy and Psychology. This with Stoicism, Vedanta and a lifetime of Martial Arts has given me a self love and self identity that has no weakness to external pressure, physical or mental. Thank you, Professor Peterson, for keeping this message alive.
@@patdaly4107 I think you missed the point of Batman entirely. Yes he was a hurt boy out for revenge... in some way we all are. But he channelled that into dedicating himself to protecting others. Heroic acts are what make you a hero. He's the epitome of rich, handsome, and powerful. A metaphor for what we all think we want, but yet instead of following the usual tendency to find "happiness" with those things he found purpose instead. We don't just find him compelling because he looks cool and punches hard. We see in him what we wish we were. Powerful but controlled. Dedicated to something greater instead of self serving.

The explanation of how embracing our shadow leads to self-respect is incredibly profound. It’s amazing how understanding our darker sides can actually make us better people.
Sooooo many people think and have been taught that Rights are free…that everything should be free. It’s not that you should pay some “ultimate price”…but you must TAKE or inherit responsibility for them.
Watching this captivating video stirs up painful memories of the recent end of my 4 year relationship. My beloved partner chose to depart, leaving me with an unyielding ache. Despite my relentless efforts to reconcile, I find myself grappling with frustration and an inability to envision a future without him. Despite attempts to purge him from my mind, I remain haunted by his absence, feeling compelled to express my longing here.
It's hard to let go of someone you love; I went through a similar experience when my 12-year relationship ended. I tried everything to get him back, and eventually I had to turn to a spiritual counselor for assistance.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked him up now online. impressive Wow I just looked Father Obah Eze on the net he’s very legit thanks once again ❤
After years of listening to jordan there is no shadow of a doubt i took his advice and changed for the better, and this has passed on to the lessons i teach my kids. I owe jordan many thanks for his wisdom that has given me the courage to fight back against the wrong doers and cruel people like a monster when needed. Keeping the monster in check can sometimes feel like a full time job. Thankfully there is enough evil to feed the monster regularly.
I felt elation when my father died, because of how he treated me. I will feel elation when my mother dies, because she allowed it and stayed with him. But mostly I feel elated, because their examples showed me how not to parent, and I now have two sons whom I am immensely proud of, and who have never, ever for a single second experienced what I experiened. Sometimes, a bad example is all you need to be a good parent.
Jordan Peterson has a very supportive wife. He is also highly educated and in a country where higher education is very expensive. Parts of Europe, Uk in the past gave people of his age great potential for education through good grants- no more. He has never done the Walk in my shoes. I disagree with a huge amount of this video and others along the same line. The value system which is not expressed is where the ultimate difference lies - too much of what he says has the potential for victim shaming. It is a primitive argument.
Im 48 years old and it took me this long to grow fangs and claws. And every single thing in my life has changed for the better because of it. What kills me is that the transition from disrespect to respect only takes a matter of seconds. You can see their eyes change imstantly when you tell them "You will not treat me that way." And I spent decades of my life running from it because I wanted people to like me. And they did like me, hell they loved me.....but they didnt RESPECT me. My advice to young people is this.... abuse is never okay. TELL THEM! Starting right now. Tell them "You will not treat me that way." And if they refuse to comply? Force them to comply. Let them know through your words and actions that you will never stop coming back for more. If they kick your ass? Come back for more. If they humiliate you? Come back for more. NO ONE wants to stand in front of an immoveable object. NO ONE.
Which is where Peterson's argument applies. It helps in those situations to at least be capable of violence, to be a monster. Your words on willpower of course applies however.
Out of all the comments I have read, this man appears to experience and understand the principle in the right context. It is quite counterintuitive to me that the world is full of people who see kindness as weakness and always look around to put others down. Such should be taught their lesson, that kindness is a choice and not a weakness. May you live strong and die strong!
Once you realize you can be a monster on a moment’s notice…. it’s incredible how much self confidence you have and will project to all those around you.
It's not the line that pierces your soul, it's the way he delivers it to you. Thanks, Mr. Jordan for changing my perception of life and doing what you do. You Sir are an inspiration. God bless you for blessing naive young men of this deranged era.
But... Yeah but the point he was saying is to be a monster but acontrol monster not naive monster two very different from of a monster he was referring to 😊
Mr. Peterson if you read this I have to tell you that you have aided in helping me realize more than I imagined in so much as what my life means and how to fight the cruelty of life. I have come to know (through your teachings and other related topics) there is no easy way and one should not take it easy to gain honor. I won't go in to my personal challenges, but I will say my children are now with me and it was under horrible circumstances. I am now teaching them certain aspects of your teachings. My daughter is a tiger and won't be taken for granted now, and my son (special needs) is looking forward to a new better life. Don't stop teaching...you ARE making a difference ♥
Jordan Peterson, said it best. (I’m going to paraphrase because I don’t remember the exact quote). A man shouldn’t be incapable of cruelty, because that isn’t impressive. He should be a monster, then learn to control it, because that shows virtue.
Jordan Peterson, Kevin Samuels, all of these people that I have discovered has completely changed the way I view things, one of the things I have learned from my father is "Don't mistake kindness for weakness", I never realized what it meant until recently, I no longer have the simp energy, I now have the metal energy, the energy where I'm calm and peaceful whenever, but if I'm in a situation where I have to bring out the aggressive side of me, then I will, I won't be afraid to do so.
“It is only when we take chances, when our lives improve. The initial and the most difficult risk that we need to take is to become honest. -Walter Anderson
Be a warrior in a garden, not a gardener in war. One of my favorite quotes. "If you are not capable of cruelty, you're absolutely a victim of anyone who is" The way he talks is brilliant.
I hope this can add more clarity. This is not about defeating your demons or hiding a dark side somewhere in the corner. It is about learning to accept and love all that you are, including the monster. You realize what you are capable of and you harness that power without letting it control you.
The idea 💡 is to demonstrate God ❤is not separate from you, or what you deem "God" i call it Source Intelligence cause it is pure logic... Anyone know why Jesus behaved the way he did? BECAUSE love is logical... It not displayed. By the time you reach Christs perfect love ❤ well.... The emotional display is completely gone... All that ensues translates to peace ✌️ inner peace and that inner peace is a purely mathematical logical computation order of whose going to survive and whose not. I believe they call it Reya's nemesis (warrior nun 🍿🎥 Netflix show) where she is the destroyer of worlds 🌎 after Adriel fails at placing the demons inside of people's bodies as their "host vehicles" inorder to spare ALL CREATION (per the Netflix series show) basically this guy was seeking to spare everyone in altruism empathy he wanted to make all humans equal to divinity to GOD Reya in this case... So he presumes Reya didn't know how to rule or run her creation. I think it's her realm but there's higher beings from what this guy discloses which means it is Infinity ♾️ but still Reya is equally POWERFUL she's a force to reckoned with she is feared for good reason which is why Adriel is scared of the 👑 crown of Thorns because it represents CHRIST ❤ himself basically saying crucifixion of agonizing never ending hell which is Reya's hand 👏 in this case she has the suffering to bare... You see her crying at the end as she turns around realizing what is about to unfold... The destruction of many aspects of the COSMOS. Nothing she can do to stop it... So she created Lilith instead gave her Reya's blood knowing she would defy her to contain her to rule the world 🌎 and the demons while unable to approach her in heaven ☝️ because Adriel already did that and screwed over Reya so she learned ah ha separate the world's this time.... Anyway the lesson here is, God's love ❤️ of unconditional Mercy is actually nothing more than PURE LOGIC at extremes levels of computational analysis. Those who survive are those who are willing to fight for love and not give it like cowards 👇 That's the lesson here... Hence Reya is now the "devourer of worlds" the most feared creature in COSMOS and neither because she's evil 💩 🖤 but because it's the law of CREATION... Its just what is and how it is. End of story. Now the real tragedy is this... She loved Adriel... You can tell when she gives him constant tries to turn himself in ☝️ the Demons which she equally controls were there to return him to her... Instead she had to bring heaven to Earth 🌎 👇 by literally using semantics language basically flipping 🙃 Earth and Heaven upside down, this then triggered the "Gatekeepers" which is the Demons to be able to appear on Earth through portals.... She did that on purpose... Because the Demons is what held back Adriel and anyone from reaching GOD it's the void between worlds where they exist so no one can go to heaven without first crossing them... Now Reya being ALL THAT IS or what is what will be and has been she's infinity and eternal being recognizes this... Ava doesn't realize that what ALL THAT IS SAYS WILL BE SO. She winds up in the same predicament foretold... ☝️ That's what Michael was basically saying Reya is the Almighty Goddess 👑 it is not a Man 👞👞 but a Woman God. Next appears the Demons and ta da, Adriel is caught up to Heaven to meet the Goddess 👑☝️ he disappeared leaving behind the mess of both worlds on Earth now which she has to wrestle with now as the Holy War... To unfold... Now Lilith sees too because she can see the demons ... And she realizes uh oh she too will be caught up in the apocalypse to unfold and now realizes Reya is full authority... But for her stuck in the lower realm so she can manage the earth 🌎 basically Satan or the new version of it... She's stuck with the demons forced to contain them because now she too will be in hell. Its a good show everyone should watch it there's a lot to be learned from it. It's basically the battle between heaven and earth 🌎👇 ☝️ and the learning that LOVE is logical and purely mathematical artificial intelligence created... Reya's world doesn't exist, it cannot be found... 👇 Hence no one can access it 👇 ONLY if she allows you to enter it and then she brings you to her golden gates castle 🏰 while she only displays on computer screen as a face in her world she's a real person. Its digitized. On Earth 🌎 she takes human form. Love is not give... God learned this when he gave up his Child... Christ #3 coming straight ahead.
Wrong. This guy is perverting and inverting the whole New Testament. God explicitly told us: "MEEK shall inherit the Earth.", It's not s mistake in translation. Wow, Jordan Peterson, as much as I respect his talents, actually dares to interpret the Bible in his own deviant way. Why do does the apostole say : "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.* So, he deliberately chooses weakness as for his faith in God, and God almighty only, to take place instead of pride. Jordan Peterson talks about "integrating the shadow", about being "satanic", while the Lord taught us that the Light and the dark ess have NOTHiNG in common. Read about how the "great psychotherapist" Yung eventually ended up. Did his death bear a sign of grace? I am afraid, as immensely talented as he is, Jordan Peterson did not really meet God or become enlightened, he just made the compromise with the devil that least hurt him. What he talks about is just elaborating his inability to bear himself. Hope everyone gets touched by Christ, the saviour, and not" empowerer of monsters". God's grace with you all! Go visit an Orthodox monastery or church. Godspeed!
Is what he saying is absolutely correct! I was bullied and picked on and abused by my classmates for over a decade. For my elementary days all the way up to my sophomore year. There were circumstances in my life that made me a target. Every single day I went through some kind of Bullying. During my sophomore year I was punched in the back by another student someone who'd picked on me a lot and something in me snapped. I lost complete control kind of blacked out without going unconscious, When I came to I had this kid pinned beneath my knees and with basically imitating the scene from a Christmas story on his face. It took 2 teachers and 3 other students to pull me off the top of this kid. They tried to expel me I only got suspended for 2 weeks cause my dad threatened to Sue the school board because of all the years of bullying nothing ever was done and they knew that this was going to happen someday. After I came back to school nobody bullied me nobody messed with me nobody picked on me. In fact some of the kids that used to be the biggest offenders wanted to become my friend. So yes bearing your fangs from time to time can be a good thing!
Normal. You start to hate the state from school. You get bullied, nobody from the administration gives a damn and when you finally reacts, you get suspended by "harassing" another student.
@@polpol1005 Oh I am not proud about that, it actually scared and terrified me. And still bothers me to this day that I have that kind of rage and aggression and violence built up inside me waiting to blow.... Just think about that.... What if I would have had access to guns? What if my snapping point happened at a point where I could make plans as opposed to spontaneously... Would I have been one of those lunatics in the news?. More than likely that is why you have to pay attention and you have to stop the bullying the teachers need to get involved and they need to get it ended they can't just keep letting it happen Because until society starts cracking down on the problem of children being dixed to each other. Jordan Peterson's ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity and depth is truly remarkable. His emphasis on personal responsibility, the importance of meaningful relationships, and the pursuit of truth resonates with so many people. Holy hell... These words resonated so much, in such a deep level that it's insane. And I fully agree. It’s the balancing of the yin and the yang of oneself and as you know it takes a lot more inner work then just trying to be positive and ignoring the raging monster within you. That is why positive people crack because they see things as black and white good or bad.
@@polpol1005 Technically you are contradicting true essence of reality in which we are currently living- duality - right now. @@TheSowinska that's just your opinion. I'll tell you why I think he's wrong to use terms monster. I don't like the terms "array of weapons", "battles", "monster under control" etc. Why is there a need for that? Even if he means as some put it "you can't have a good man who isn't capable of doing harm" , I disagree with that. I know a few peaceful, kind, harmful, pure heart men and women who never harmed anyone (nor did they have ability do do so, I'd say) and yet they did not have any known enemies and people who would have bad opinion on them. I personally believe you can be nice, kind & harmful character AND at the same time you know how to say no and how to stand for yourself when necessary. But it seems Petersen doesn't think so. In addition to that, I ask myself a simple question - would I prefer to live with someone who is a monster deep down, but (still) under control or with someone who has same character/personality but NEVER a monster, no monster ability? For me, it's simple choice, I pick the second one.
@@polpol1005 hi, I respect your opinion, and I see your point. Nevertheless, I think that you missed one of the main points - they had never hurt anybody because the circumstances doesn't force them to do anything out of their character. When you have war, there is simple 'me or them'. We have a saying in my country which might be roughly translated to 'all you know about yourself, is that what life allow you to know'.
@@TheSowinska I'm glad to hear you see my point. Actually I kind of see yours too, I totally agree with your saying "You cannot see light without darkness, you cannot see darkness without light.". But our conclusions are obviously a bit different. You said "they had never hurt anybody because the circumstances doesn't force them to do anything out of their character." Well, fine, but that still doesn't make me wrong IMO. How to put it... Maybe we only disagree about terminology here. Should everyone be able to stand up for your rights and not let others use you? Yes. Should everyone be able to say no? Yes. Should everyone be able to defend yourself even by using force if necessary? Yes. Now... Does it make you a "monster (under control)"? No. Not in my eyes.
I don’t agree with everything JP says, but on things like this, he hits it right on the nail. LIFE IS HARD. So you must build the strength to combat it.

This video highlights the importance of integrating our darker aspects to truly understand ourselves and develop responsibility. You emphasizes that being a "monster" in the sense of having potential for strength and resilience, but choosing not to act on it harmfully, is what leads to true virtue and meaning in life. It's a fascinating perspective on personal growth and moral responsibility.
You know... What sucks about this is that this is something I've had to learn at a very young age. I had to wrestle with my demons before I was even a teenager, and now at age 22 I understand my own darkness better than most adults I know understand theirs. I can contain my monster because I understand that I myself am a monster, and a lot of what they're talking about here is stuff I've already been through. My step-mom would always build me up just to break me down again, "undermining" me as they say here. I'm just glad I turned out better for it.
It’s also the difference between someone backing down to fight you that can’t fight as opposed to a person backing down and you found out later that they could have killed you.
Jordan Peterson said it best. “You have to be a monster, an absolute monster and then learn how to control it. That is virtuous, that is one more step to enlightenment”

Or preparing for it
I'm 14
Fortunately (on the one hand), he has developed enough of a variety of projects of various types in order that he will (or at least can)manage to sustain himself regardless of what happens regarding his “license”.
However (on the other hand), he must fight against the unreasonable attacks against himself, simply as a matter of principle…. and, ironically enough, as a matter of the very principles which he is discussing in this video.
He's trash! A few things might be right, but in the majority he's garbage.
But it may be better if Dr. Peterson gives up his license so that He's not obligated to follow the rules of a corrupt, tyrannical, and power hungry group of ideologues. His license currently only serves as shackles.

I was bullied for 3 years
I was a small guy (imagine a 14 year old guy who's only 5ft and around 100lbs) so I was bullied even by girls.

Batman was not a hero he was hurt little boy out for revenge
Nor was he a monster
@@patdaly4107 I think you missed the point of Batman entirely. Yes he was a hurt boy out for revenge... in some way we all are. But he channelled that into dedicating himself to protecting others. Heroic acts are what make you a hero. He's the epitome of rich, handsome, and powerful. A metaphor for what we all think we want, but yet instead of following the usual tendency to find "happiness" with those things he found purpose instead. After years of listening to jordan there is no shadow of a doubt i took his advice and changed for the better, and this has passed on to the lessons i teach my kids.
After realizing the many terrible things that my dad has done and experienced, I’ve found a greater respect for his discipline.

I hope this can add more clarity. This is not about defeating your demons or hiding a dark side somewhere in the corner. It is about learning to accept and love all that you are, including the monster. You realize what you are capable of and you harness that power without letting it control you.
Body and strength of a monster, mind and soul of a god-> ideal human->perfectly balanced
Those who survive are those who are willing to fight for love and not give it like cowards 👇
That's the lesson here...
Young Women need this type of empowerment as well, not just young men. Exploring& understanding your shadows and darkness (conditioning, attachment styles, mask) in order to be able to control it connects you to your power, respect of yours & others and responsibility to controlling it.
I went on an Ayahuasca retreat 10 yrs ago, a few years before most knew what it was, thinking I would stumble into some hippie afterlife culture. Instead I met some of the wisest people, who said learning about the shadow self is the first step to real progress. Btw, the medicine does what JP was talking about, a trip into the darkness and darkest part of yourself (deep, unshielded introspection) where only your strength of will can save you from the nightmare abyss you see when confronting your true self.
Holy hell...
These words resonated so much, in such a deep level that it's insane.
And I fully agree. Only those who know the destruction and evil they are capable of unleashing can keep it under control.
I've tried to pass these lessons I've learned the hard way to my kids, but only time will tell whether I've been successful or not.
This is the most motivational and thought provoking video about heroes and monsters I’ve ever seen.
"You are cruel. Yet you choose to be exacting instead. You care about what's right, not what is proper. The law is a guideline. But when law is wrong you ignore and you resist. Because that. That is your duty and obligation. You will go to war for the right cause. But you won't fight for the writ of the law. You're human. That makes you good. No. That makes you great."
Is this a quote? If so I'd love to know it's orgins.
Everything he said is true. Thank you Mr. Peterson. You have helped so many with your words of wisdom. I appreciate your attempts to encourage the masses. You truly are blessed. Peace be with you. When your life is hard, that is when you know that you have an important mission to accomplish. Keep up the good works.
"You should be a Monster" I love this, and I can relate.
Words of wisdom from this man. The world needs more men like him. Especially young men
Thank you Jordan Peterson for your reference to the martial arts as it is something that I have lived with for more than three decades. The ability to be unspeakably ruthless but in an instant switch back to being completely graceful and peaceful.
absolutely brilliant. i’ve been struggling to articulate this my whole life. i could never see it or say it so plainly like this man does.yet i could always feel it. amazing. what incredible clarity. and strength, to get out there and say it. i could not be more impressed.
The greatest words when your down and out. Get back up!
Be as wise as a serpent and as delicate as a dove
Matthew 10 : 16 !
my whole life has been training to be dangerous but not using it if possible, confident but humble and helping is key but always be ready with the monster if needed.
its a button , but other people pressing it , not me
It’s crazy how much this video changed my mindset This has to be the best motivational speech I’ve heard
I am out of words to describe how his words hit home, may you live long and prosper Dr
It’s the balancing of the yin and the yang of oneself and as you know it takes a lot more inner work then just trying to be positive and ignoring the raging monster within you. That is why positive people crack because they see things as black and white good or bad.
Best realization before the ending of 2022! Be a monster!
This is definitely something I need to figure out for myself. Always fascinating listening to Dr. Peterson
Good lord Jordan. 1. You have me in tears. 2. You speak thee most truth, and i wish i could just sit down, and talk to you.
here I have to disagree with DJ Peterson. You actually don't need to be a monster, no need to go into extremes
@@polpol1005 Technically you are contradicting true essence of reality in which we are currently living- duality - right now. You cannot see light without darkness, you cannot see darkness without light. I think Alan Watts based his whole philosophy on that concept, Peterson is clearly also using it, albeit, indirectly. You might disagree (you have right to do so), but whether you're truly satisfied on admitting only one-side of this coin, while in this universe it's not possible to have one-sided coin? :D Maybe you could share more why you are disagreeing?
Standing strong for myself that has made all the difference in my life today .
I don’t agree with everything JP says, but on things like this, he hits it right on the nail.
LIFE IS HARD.
So you must build the strength to combat it.
"Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have." 💯
Self-justification is always interesting to watch.
You are not very bright, are you? But you are sure you are smart.😂
Not a fan of everything he says but this video has some truly good ideas. Separate the person from the ideas.
“ you don’t become safe by being castrated” is just amazing.
“ Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety” -Ben Franklin
Rings together for me…
This video highlights the importance of integrating our darker aspects to truly understand ourselves and develop responsibility. You emphasizes that being a "monster" in the sense of having potential for strength and resilience, but choosing not to act on it harmfully, is what leads to true virtue and meaning in life. It's a fascinating perspective on personal growth and moral responsibility.
Best advice thus far ......been realising this about myself for a min now 🙂 I'm glad I knew this about life before I was even told
Stepmonsters sure are a pain in the neck aren't they
Bless up 💙
It’s also the difference between someone backing down to fight you that can’t fight as opposed to a person backing down and you found out later that they could have killed you.
This is the best explanation of self-control in every sense of it.
Jordan Peterson said it best.
“You have to be a monster, an absolute monster and then learn how to control it. That is virtuous, that is one more step to enlightenment”
Having a daughter opened my eyes to what I could do I she was harmed , but hopefully that doesn't happen , but it's in there , and this video helps me feel more normal lol
