  • The crochet woven stitch creates a beautifully unique texture that's unlike any other crochet stitch. Rather than being made up of standard crochet stitches, it combines different stitch motions to create its texture. The resulting fabric has a great drape making it perfect for all sorts of projects.

Thank you for making this video. I am learning to crochet and I like that you do not go too fast and you explain everything so clearly. I really like the look of this stitch. I can't wait to try it.

What if you were making a cowl (in the round) with the woven stitch? I wanted to use a bulky yarn like the purple in this video but how would I start and finish each round?

Is this the same stitch that you did your mittens with? It sounds very familiar

Question? Is that last little stitch of the woven stitch consider like a slip stitch, looks similar 🤔

I tried this stitch with a thin yarn and it looks like the holes are bigger. Is that normal or am I doing something are?

That's to be expected, you didn't do anything wrong. The yarn here is pretty "fluffy" which conceals the holes a bit more than smooth yarn.

Can anyone tell me why when working this stitch here as instructed, we only chain 1 & then turn our work, when in the woven stitch headband pattern (www.bhookedcrochet.com/2014/10/08/crochet-headband-pattern/), we crochet 2 & then turn our work? why the difference?

The white background is fine, but why do people continue to use dark thread for demos?? Also, the stitch isn't the difficult part. It's when you're working on a block & told to turn on the corners. This gives too fat of a corner every time it's turned. How can turning & reversing look more even with a smooth transition plz??

    I think you've made a mistake in 3rd woven stitch !!

It's actually a stitch pattern, not a stitch.

Be nice if you would skip through you finishing a row, I dont need to watch every single stitch you make I just need the basic points. Starting the stitch doing the stich and ending the row that's it, lengthy videos for no reason
