Love this, bonnie is so easy to follow and I love her voice
Reverse single crochet is on of my favorite borders. Love this.
I have finally got it! Thankyou! 😀
Yay!! This can be a real stinker of a stitch until your hands get the idea. Working backwards is never intuitive.
Thank you! This was very helpful!!
GOD bless you forever sweetheart 🙏
So beautiful your crochet very💝🌷💖 impressive, elegant & unique👑🌹✌
Thank you so much
Awww...thank you Suzann!
PRAISE THE LORD AND GOOD MORNING TO SISTER BONNIE,
THIS THE DEMONSTRATION I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. BEAUTIFUL STITCHES FRONT SIDE AND BACK. JUST HAD TO TAKE MY TIME.
THANK YOU SISTER FOR THE KNURL STITCH❤
Thank you Lynn!
Very helpful, thank you.
Thank you Bonnie. 🐨🦘😷
Thank you!
Thank you
Interesting alternatives - not nearly as pretty or visually interesting as the knurl stitch, though. Thank you for sharing these options!
I agree Violet. It is worth practicing to get the Knurl stitch.
Hi Bonnie, it seems like the crab stich reverse, I' m wrong. what a beauty...
Yes Najla, this has many names!😊❤️
Thank you Bonnie! I made a baby blanket that called for a crab stitch border but I couldn't get it right because I was going through both loops instead of just one.
That's a different view on the stitch, Bonnie uses it as a middle part of a pattern. ;>D
only thru 1 for the knurl since it is a 2 step row... for a border it should be thru both loops.... i find a RSC ch 1 skipping 1 easier for borders than placing a RSC in all stiches across
Muy lindos puntos y sencillos, plis Español 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏼😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
💃💖💖💖💖
Can I use this stitch in place of the Knuckle Stitch? Can't find a video for Knuckle Stitch.
I’m not familiar with that stitch Leta. So sorry!
Why does mine look more like a LFR? I just can't get it to look like this at all :(
Me either....
Maybe I was doing the knurl stitch wrong by having attempted it thru both loops instead of just the front loop??
I do both loops when I'm doing the crab stitch - reverse single crochet - for edging.
If making a border, definitely work through both loops, but when working within a pattern, only use one loop.
Mine never looks like a rope. It just looks like reg single crochet
You may be trying to manipulate how the strands fall. This can be a real stinker of a stitch until you master it. I still have to go slow when making this stitch.
Thank you! Making this for my Niece from my first marriage. I am still close with my brother and sister in law. I made the square one for her mom. She asked for this one, "with no tassles Auntie."
Did you ever suss out the knurl stitch? Mine also just looked like regular stitches. It took me ages to see that she puts the hook under her work before making the stitch. There's a definite twist in the action. The hook goes into the work (for the yarn over) and back out (for the last yarn over) BELOW and in FRONT of the new row of stitches. And the yarn stays above and behind them - this is what makes the loopy effect. It didn't help that I'm left handed, so I had to mentally rotate the image! But I'm determined to make the Celtic Cable Throw, so I forced myself to get this stitch right. Love working this throw - so far also learned the Weave Stitch - wonder if there's more new stitches in it? It must be 50 years since I learned a properly new crochet stitch, rather than a new combination of the old ones.
