I spent years putting whatever oil I was using on as my last step thinking I was "sealing" everything in, and well because that's what the internet told me. I've since changed my ways- catering to the oil- and I've noticed a big difference, and less oil wasted on my pillow. I do think you have to see what works for your skin and there isn't really an explicitly wrong way as neither have negative results, but I do think there's an inherently more beneficial order to apply them depending on what type of oil you are using. But again there's lot of wiggle room as it all depends on your products. What's in your moisturizer, what you want to get out of using the oil etc. As a general guideline the lighter higher in linoleic acid oils perform at their highest when using before your occlusive moisturizer or mixed, but definitely not after. These oils (rosehip, sunflower, hemp, safflower, primrose, grape seed...) are more unsaturated and actually rebuild the lipid layer and repair the skin barrier while having a lower occlusive nature. If used AFTER, due to the occlusive properties of the moisturizer, the light oil wouldn't penetrate to it's fullest potential, if much at all. As the moisturizer would likely be more occlusive than a more linoleic rich oil. You'd still see benefits but certainly not all it can do. The more saturated higher in oleic acid oils (avocado, macadamia, shea, almond) have emollient properties also but mostly do their work via their occlusive nature, making sense why these oils would go on last as a sealant. Jojoba and argan are somewhat balanced in linoleic and oliec acids. I'm stopping there because I just wrote an essay on face oils at 4am, send help.

This is by far the most effective product for me and it's not heavy on my skin. I used it on my face for my wrinkles. Great support! thank you for the lifetime discount!
I have always had extremely oily skin. By mid day my forehead, nose, and cheeks would be a gross waterfall of grease. I always stayed away from oils and never saw a change. Last month I started adding a facial oil that I bought from target designed to hydrate added over my water gel moisturizer. And it completely changed my skin. I have no excess oil like none. I wish I started years ago.
Hey ladies! Did you know The Ordinary makes a marula facial oil (which is obviously cheaper than the DE one). If it works for a future video can you try it and compare the two?? I'm so excited for more of these 101 videos!
How have I never seen you guys before? You have completely educated me on why I itch every single time I use coconut, olive, even almond... I’ve been doing it wrong all these yeeears... I use almond oil as a oil cleansing method, but I’m always so oily at the end of the day. I have combination/oily skin. I never guessed this was why... I never completely cleared up. It did help with my breakouts a bit, but I still suffer from adult acne. Even after getting massages when they would use certain oils (olive, almond, coconut) my back would completely break out. Now I know why. Holy crap.... thanks girls I’m a subie for life please keep these videos coming...You guys should make your own skin care line.... I’m here for it honies.... thank you thank you... I can’t wait to try these new tips.... I hope they work for me.. 🥺
taking about oils, for eyebrows, girls, keratin oil! saved my eyebrows, really. Massage every day and you'll start seeing slight improvement within 2 weeks, but you need to stick to it for a few months to actually see a good difference.
I love facial oils!! My skin is normal but I actually love the ‘glowy’ oily look. I used to use oils as the last step but now I apply it immediately after my serums before my moisturiser. I feel like it helps retain moisture more and I get more benefits from the oil. ❤️
Look ladies I usually don't leave comments on tutorials, just watch take what I want and leave, but today I just can't. Your channel is literally the best I've ever seen! You are giving so much useful explanations and advices... Thank you so much
Guys can you do a review and tell us the different between aveeno, cerave, cetaphil and first aid beauty? Or anyone in here have tried those products? What the different? What is your favorite?
A. Cerave and cetaphil are very similar, good for people with eczema or on roaccutane or just with sensitive skin. They are recommended by doctors/derms Aveeno is just really moisturising and doesn’t have any additives First aid beauty has a range of different products that all do different things
Cerave is the best!!! I use it as my cleanser and as my base moisturizer because it’s mild enough and hydrating to combine with my more complicated serums and oils. My face broke out with Aveeno, while Cetaphil is a little drying and doesn’t make your skin as moisturized as Cerave. I swear to Cerave products, they can’t be underestimated!
I swear by the Aveeno moisturizing bar soap for my face. Oat is the first ingredient out of about ten which is awesome. It leaves my skin clean and smooth without drying. I also can’t live without their makeup removing wipes. My sister uses the aveeno spf 30 moisturizer and from trying it out, it’s just OK. I’m not a fan of two in one spf/moist.’s. Aveeno has a few awesome products just with anything, be weary of the ingredients list. Pull your phone out while shopping to search each individual ingredient if you have to. The more effort you put into familiarizing yourself with ingredients, the easier it will be to discern what is right/wrong for your skin. And it does get easier 😊
I didn't thought oils were necessary but now after watching this I will definitely incorporate oils in my skincare routine. You guys really give lots of information in detail I really love it. Thank you.
I have super sensitive and dry skin; my favorite last step oil is a mix I make of vitamin e oil and sweet almond oil. It's been perfect and hasn't caused any reaction or break outs!
OOooooo both of those are sooo good, my fave as well! And fun fact, our sebum actually contains amounts of vitamin E hehe. So it's like replenishing your skin naturally 😊thanks for sharing! 💞- fel
I found this channel because of Rowena and I’m so grateful I found it! Rowena and Felicia are a delight to watch, they give information in a way that’s very easy to follow and digest. Also I love skincare so this is seriously one of my favorite channels on UA-cam!!! Thank you both for all of your hard work xoxo
Awww this means a lot, thank you so much!! We're just happy you guys are enjoying it and learning lots from the vids! We just want to highlight what all these products really are and what they do, and if you really need them because so much of it is just marketing, and taking your money 😂Thanks so much for the comment, we love you! 💞
So I just found your channel and I'M OBSESSED!!! I love that you guys have the science behind it, too. I'm totally binging on AALLLLLL your videos but I did want to add (on the off chance you'll actually read this comment) is that your skin doesn't "get used" to products. When the LUNA oil doesn't give you any more improvement, it means you've exhausted it's benefits and need to either increase your frequency of use for every day OR bump up to a higher level of retinol. ... So excited to see the rest of the vids!
This pure Moroccan oil gives life to my hair and my skin. My hair was so dry and now its shining. It also moisturizes my skin and no any side effects. a must try product.
I loved this series, I've learned so much from you THANK YOU so much!!! I'll be a lot more aware of what products I'm putting in my face thanks to you 😊
Hazelnut oil has been used for oily skin and minimizing the size of pores because of its unique properties. A high content of catechins and tannins (healthy flavonoids) make this oil a “dry” oil that feels smooth and toning on the skin. Its properties help balance oils and make your pores appear smaller.
I have suuuuper sensitive (mature) skin so most of my regimen is treatment oils that I put together myself. It actually saves you hella dough to research your skin needs (acne-prone, redness, dry, etc) and target things that might work for your personal needs and make your own mixtures. Very few of them have extremely short shelf lives and it really pays off in the end to have good ingredients that your know are sourced well. You don't need a long list of oils for a good personal mix. The key to buying good oil well: Purchase the highest quality you can afford and always buy Cold-pressed, pure, unrefined oils with no additives. Example of a dope EASY and cost-effective dupe: TARTE's Maracuja Oil is literally only Maracuja Oil and Vitamin E - likely just a dash for added shelf life which isn't really necessary when making your own mix. Maracuja Oil is intended to nourish and soothe mature, dry, parched or irritated skin. It is also highly recommended in scalp and hair care products to encourage healthy hair growth and increased vitality. Seriously, keeping the recipe small saves you money in the long run, and it helps keep your mix more stable. Just target your wants/ needs, test them out and see if they play well with your skin, and you'll have a winner for life. I like my day oils to be fast-absorbing, moisturizing and protecting. The more the antioxidants, the better the protection as they fight-off free radicals activated by the sun’s UV rays. For night, relax and replenish. My preferred night oils are extremely nourishing with good fatty acid content as they repair the lipid barrier of the skin that might be affected by harsh environmental stressors during the day and restore lost moisture. There are also oils which have potent anti-aging compounds like phytochemicals which repair skin and reverse or prevent signs of aging. Also, it seems that many are clueless about what can and cannot be mixed. Don't rock an AHA with a separate Vitamin C serum, use one for daytime (Vit C) and one at night (AHA) otherwise your skin will get super peeved. Beware, but play and have fun with it!
Also, some really loved moisturizers already have great oils mixed in. Read your labels and get to know what might love you back and why. Example: Both FIRST AID BEAUTY's Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration and KIEHL's Ultra Facial Cream both include SQUALANE in the mix (yay!) so you know both are awesome for hydration! (* FIRST AID BEAUTY's Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration has Squalane derived from plants, and KIEHL's Ultra Facial Cream has Squalane derived from olives.) Now, if you have super finicky skin that irritates the former might be an even better choice for you as it also includes Colloidal Oatmeal (an FDA-designated skin protectant that relieves itching and minor irritation caused by eczema, rashes, and other skin conditions) and Allantoin (Calms and soothes skin).
Here's a great Huda Beauty article on how to make your own oil mixes for a fraction of the price of some of the high ticket options: hudabeauty.com/2018/04/09/the-ultimate-face-oil-diys-for-your-skin-type/
I use pure coconut oil to clean my waterproof mascara, and is the only thing that actually works without rubbing and irritating my eyes, micellar water and then a cream cleanser. I love marula and rose oil for after.
Thanks so much for sharing that with us!! Caster oil was Rowena's version of you using Vaseline. I had so much trouble getting vas off my face when I used it to remove makeup hahah. I learned the hard way that a little goes a long way 😅😅 - fel
I appreciate how much you guys bring in research and science to your videos! There's so many people that talk about the product and don't say much else other than "I like it." I have a much better understanding of products when I watch your videos!
I have oily skin and because of the low linoleic acid count due to this condition, a facial oil rich in linoleic acid would balance the hydration level just fine. So I guess I can use grapeseed oil. Grapeseed Oil also has tocopherol (vitamin E) and is rich in other antioxidants. 😍 I will make it as the last part of my daily skincare routine.
Same with your moisturizer. Moisturizers are most effective when skin is still damp, as damp skin best absorbs the moisture and locks it in for a longer time. After washing your face, don’t towel-dry. Instead, apply your moisturizer to damp skin, which can help lock in hydration. Use the same technique when it comes to your body as well. Once you hop out of the shower, resist the urge to wrap yourself in a towel for a minute or two longer and apply body lotion while you’re still damp. Pay particular attention to areas like your knees, elbows, and feet, which tend to get drier and rougher than the skin on the rest of your bod. I have dry, sensitive, mature skin and I use the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (water-based) on my whole body from head to toes. I use this method and my skin has never been happier. When I used it on my DRY skin, it felt like it just sat on the surface of my skin with attitude. On WET skin, the dampness of my skin helps the slip in my application and I use a fraction of product and it melts right in!
15:03 - Omega 3 and Omega 6 are linoleic acid. They are quite different actually. Omega 3 is alpha-linolenic, whereas Omega 6 is linoleic. To get the optimal skin results, the ratio of the two should be as close to optimal as well.
Thank you ladies so much for this info. I’ve always loved using oils, now o have more of a grasp of what and how I should use them. I’m waiting for my Mizon Snail 🐌 repair set and I’m so ready to try the whole Korean skin care regimen. I have acne prone/mature skin (I’ll be 38 next Saturday) so I have scars, fine lines, wrinkles, dark under eyes, the whole negative shabang. 😳 I’m hoping the Korean skin care will help. Wish me good luck 👍🏽
I agree that every skin type is better using different applications. For me I can't use oils at all my pores are too large and oil settles right in and makes them huge! But, I can use the cleansing oil as a a waxy tip cleanser my pores before using a second cleanser to close my pores
Thanks so much for this video! I was hesitant to use face oils in my routine, since my skin is already combination oily and I thought it would make it worse. This video helped clear things up!
Omg! I’ve been using my oils the complete opposite!!! I’ve always applied my oil right after toning. I thought it would penetrate better that way, since I have EXTREMELY dry flaky skin all around my mouth and jaw line. So, I’m supposed to add it with my moisturizer or after, right? I currently add two drops of tea tree oil to my Purity moisturizer because I have a bad case of hormonal cystic acne, and the tea tree oil really helps with taming the acne, BUT I still get flakes a few hours after my skin has sucked up all the moisture. D: Maybe once I start using the oil as my last step (before sunscreen) my flakes will go away. (Fingers crossed). Thank you for this video Rowena and Felicia!! 🙏🏼💜
Bio-oil is a great way to use on both face and body. It has vitamin A and E and a compination of lavender and chamomile essential oil. Almond also is a universal oil generally used for body messages and is great for skin care. Winter is a great time for oil use during the day. 😉❤❤
jojoba oil is my literal lifeblood. i used to have really bad acne and when i started using a really good AHA/BHA, it made my skin super dehydrated so it was oily and dry/flaky at the same time. i started using jojoba twice a day, every day, and my skin is so nice now. on top of it being good at controlling oil, you get this really nice natural glow to your skin without your face getting extra greasy throughout the day.
I live in a tropical country which is super humid and hot all year long. Thus, I always have to use the oil and moisturizer alternatively. If I use them together, ooh la la!!!!
Yeeeeaaaa, I’ve definitely been using jojoba oil as my moisturizer lately, lol. I usually moisturize with aloe vera gel but I don’t have any so I cleanse, tone, then apply oil. I recently just ordered sunscreen too (I’ve never used it before) soooo I kinda wanna use that in place of a moisturizer. My skin is oily/combo so I don’t want too much crap on my face. Just wanna keep it simple.
I have so many questions!!!! One of them is: are we supposed to be using Cleanser, Toner, Exfoliates, Serums, Moisturizers, and Oils EVERY DAY!?!?! Night and Day routines?! Can you guys make a video on when to use these products?
I love your videos. They’re so educational. You guys got me into facial oils. 😂 I have oily skin and for months I was hesitant about using facial oils and I recently purchase the Drunk Elephant Marula oil and I’m in love with it. Thanks for all the info and great tips.
I use to have really oily skin but that completely changed once i started using rosehip oil and bio oil for my scars. I now use avocado and almond oil for my body and could never go back to using normal body moisturizers 💜
I have oily skin as well and noticed that when I use the rosehip at night mixed with my moisturizer I woke up to less oily skin which is good but then I noticed my skin actually started getting flakey and dry. Do you think my skin just needs to adjust? Did you experience any dryness? Should I put the oil on last instead of mixing it into my moisturizer?
@@nickilubra3981 maybe try using a smaller amount of oil so that your skin can build its tolerance. then after a couple of weeks slowly use a little bit more oil. this is what I did and my skin didn't break out from using it
I do not hope that I am the only one that have experienced it yet and can admit it, but can you maybe make a video about facial hair and what are the best ways to deal with it. For example does laser treatment work and how long does it takes to lead to an effect of less facial hair? What are the alternatives; bleach, hair removal creme and consequences of for example shaving with those small white machines heads that are currently advertised on Facebook and maybe also other social media. Is it best just to poke out the facial hair with a pincet or does that irritate the skin to much like hair removal creme can do? Further what are the possible reasons of visible facial hair on women and can specific changes in diet or medication change the hormones for example testosterone that maybe can lead to grow of visible facial hair.
I love how this channel's videos are so informative! I want to see what you guys think about the brand Biossance. It is one of my favorite brands for facial oils
Fel loves the oil! We haven't gotten the chance to try the other products yet but we'll def work Biossance into one of our videos reviewing most hyped & popular products :) -Ro
Love DE's Marula oil for my dry skin. It works well with any moisturizer I've tried. Just ordered The Ordinary's version - fingers crossed it's just as good.
@@BeautyWithin Well, I woke up with a pimple on my cheek today (the most sensitive part of my face). But I'm not convinced it's the Marula oil. Think it was the Paula's Choice CLINICAL Ultra-Rich Moisturizer I've been using. So I went back to my Dr. Roebuck's No Worries moisturizer just to confirm. Oh, you guys should review the Dr. Roebuck's No Worries. Very underrated but an excellent product for those with sensitive skin. Just purchased my 3rd one - something I never do.
Yes, looking forward to setting sprays please. I don't wear makeup but being looking for setting spray that would go on top of my sunscreen and mattify without drying.
This series is amazing! I've learned so much. A video I think a lot of people would love to see would be all about masks! Powder, fresh, packaged, etc.
Thanks for providing such an informative video. I suffer from severs eczema and want to add oil to my routine, but I was struggling to get my head around what to use.
These videos are always so helpful! Thanks for breaking down oil, because it's a bit daunting when your standing in the store trying to decide what to try or what will work best for your particular skin type.
This was way more informative and valid than I dare to expect from youtube! One request: I'd love if you would mention if the product was naturally sertified (USDA or any European sertificates) or if they were synthetic with natural ingredients. I know the system doesn't work as effectively in the States but it would raise the meaning of the sertificates and be more clear for people thet only use sertified cosmetics. Than you for making well explained, evident videos like this one!
i love how your channel is done girls! filled with the whole range of knowledge needed on the topic with examples of products AND ALL THAT IN A FUN WAY love you 💜💜💜
Hope you guys can talk about which part of the routine should treatment oils be in. Like say for example TO Retinol in Squalane, Biossance Vit C Rose Oil. I think a lot of people, newbies and even some skincare veterans, still gets confused on whether treatment oils should be used before or after moisturizers :)
I have oily, acne prone skin and I have used Rosehip oil here and there in the past, but recently I read that while it was great for fading PIH marks, that it should "NEVER" be applied to active breakouts. Have you guys ever heard this or know why that might be?

Lips! Can you do a video on lip care and recomendations! I live in area where it could get -25°C at winter and +25°C during summer, thus the weather difference is extreame over the year. I would love a video that takes weather difference into account. Cheers! :)
Am I alone in my love for medicinal-smelling skin care? I think it heightens my confidence in it. Like I trust it more because it’s medicine! And no fragrance is what my sensitive skin wants. Basically if it smells good (or at least if there’s a particularly strong scent) I get kinda weary of the product on my skin.
can you guys make a video on the oil cleansing method, but I don't mean double-cleansing. I mean using oil to wash your face after makeup is off. People say its really good for getting rid of acne

PLEASE remember to patch test your oils, namely essential oils!! Tea tree and lavender especially are always loved for treating acne but they can be extremely harsh if you don't dilute them properly. Or also you might end up being allergic, like myself! Nothing is worse than having an allergic reaction on top of your acne >.
@@anjagalan6905 From what I've read I've always done 1 drop essential oil to 10 drops carrier oil. I like almond or jojoba oil but you can use hemp, coconut, or even olive. Ofc use caution if coconut oil or something breaks you out, use a different kind. Some people also dilute in water, it depends on what your use is.

Hey ladies! Did you know The Ordinary makes a marula facial oil (which is obviously cheaper than the DE one). If it works for a future video can you try it and compare the two?? I'm so excited for more of these 101 videos!
Check Gothamista here on YT. She did this comparison
absolutely! we'll start doing more comparison/vs/dupes videos so keep an eye out 😉 -Ro
They have a Rose hip Oil too. I would love to hear your thoughts in their oils.
I would have loved to hear more about marula oil and The Ordinary oils too.
Yeah compare the ordinary products with other products !
Thank you so much
😭🙏🏻💕 this means so much Keishia, thank you so much!! -Ro
They are recommended by doctors/derms
Aveeno is just really moisturising and doesn’t have any additives
First aid beauty has a range of different products that all do different things
Cerave is the best!!! I use it as my cleanser and as my base moisturizer because it’s mild enough and hydrating to combine with my more complicated serums and oils.
My face broke out with Aveeno, while Cetaphil is a little drying and doesn’t make your skin as moisturized as Cerave. I swear to Cerave products, they can’t be underestimated!
Learn to read ingredients and choose accordingly. No one in life is going to hold your hand and think for you.
Go watch Dr Drays channel. She walks u through them all.
This series were so so so helpful! It's so amazing you worked so hard to give us all the knowledge
This pure Moroccan oil gives life to my hair and my skin. My hair was so dry and now its shining. It also moisturizes my skin and no any side effects. a must try product.
i use hemp and/or rosehip to oil cleanse bc i have extremely sensitive combo acne/rosacea prone skin and it has literally changed my skin’s life 🤎
I loved this series, I've learned so much from you THANK YOU so much!!!
(* FIRST AID BEAUTY's Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration has Squalane derived from plants, and KIEHL's Ultra Facial Cream has Squalane derived from olives.)
Now, if you have super finicky skin that irritates the former might be an even better choice for you as it also includes Colloidal Oatmeal (an FDA-designated skin protectant that relieves itching and minor irritation caused by eczema, rashes, and other skin conditions) and Allantoin (Calms and soothes skin).
Here's a great Huda Beauty article on how to make your own oil mixes for a fraction of the price of some of the high ticket options:
hudabeauty.com/2018/04/09/the-ultimate-face-oil-diys-for-your-skin-type/
I 100% Agree!! I purchase organic oils & serums online from iherb, derm store & occasionally Amazon. They are so much cheaper.
My tips before using the facial oil is mist your face first until get wet! The oils can penetrate really deeper and sink so fast :)
Thanks so much for sharing!! 💕🙏😊
Beauty Within yeayy 💕💕💕
Belinda Vega so when do i use toner? I thought toner first after mousturizer?
I am using Essence Of Argan Oil for my face it's so beautiful
I’m hoping the Korean skin care will help.
I ve been binge watching your channel since yesterday, I discovered a real passion for skincare i love what you guys are doing ❤
Looking for skin care, for me is Essence Of Argan oil. The oil gives a very good result to my skin, it hydrate my skin so well.
I ditched dairy and now my skin is clear. Check out Dr. Mark Hyman and Rawkristina.
ESSENCE OF ARGAN OIL is the best to be used for both oily and dry skin. Must try!
I love Ciracle and DHC Deep Cleansing Oils, only use those to remove makeup and then follow up with a gentle face wash for double cleanse
I love your videos. They’re so educational. You guys got me into facial oils. 😂 I have oily skin and for months I was hesitant about using facial oils and I recently purchase the Drunk Elephant Marula oil and I’m in love with it. Thanks for all the info and great tips.
It's great to see this... I have also treated myself. Weedborn oils have helped me a lot.
@@nickilubra3981 maybe try using a smaller amount of oil so that your skin can build its tolerance. then after a couple of weeks slowly use a little bit more oil. this is what I did and my skin didn't break out from using it
@@chelseabateman7601 I'll try that,thanks 😊
I'm a guy. I watch videos on this channel not just for my skincare, but also because they're adorable to watch and learn from them.
@@BeautyWithin oh great to hear! Thank you❤
a video on hair growth and maintenance would be could!!
congrats great job explaining the chemical part of it :)
Can you guys please do hair care and best body moisturiser videos! Bleach blonde hair care routine if you can! Love your channel 😍
Love DE's Marula oil for my dry skin. It works well with any moisturizer I've tried. Just ordered The Ordinary's version - fingers crossed it's just as good.
We're also in the middle of trying out the DE marula oil too! We should share notes after 😛- fel
@@BeautyWithin Well, I woke up with a pimple on my cheek today (the most sensitive part of my face). But I'm not convinced it's the Marula oil. Think it was the
Paula's Choice CLINICAL Ultra-Rich Moisturizer I've been using.
Powder, fresh, packaged, etc.
i am using the essence of Argan oil for my face and it's an amazing product ,very effective
i am using the essence of argan oil and it's very effective love it
Thanks for providing such an informative video. I suffer from severs eczema and want to add oil to my routine, but I was struggling to get my head around what to use.
These videos are always so helpful! Thanks for breaking down oil, because it's a bit daunting when your standing in the store trying to decide what to try or what will work best for your particular skin type.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS VIDEO FOR SUCH A LONG TIME! ❤️❤️❤️
heheheh we heard ya girlllll!! 😝 - fel
Love y’all! Constantly putting out great content. I look forward to uploads every week. Thanks for the information on facial oils. I was curious!!
Aww this means a lot, thanks so much!! We appreciate youu watching and commenting! Glad you feel more confident with oils now heheh 😊 - fel
Than you for making well explained, evident videos like this one!
i love how your channel is done girls! filled with the whole range of knowledge needed on the topic with examples of products AND ALL THAT IN A FUN WAY
love you 💜💜💜
thanks so much for your recommendations! because of you guys i tried out crave beauty and it's hands down the best purchase i ever made!!
using essence of argan oil for the last few months it's an amazing product
Hope you guys can talk about which part of the routine should treatment oils be in. Like say for example TO Retinol in Squalane, Biossance Vit C Rose Oil. I think a lot of people, newbies and even some skincare veterans, still gets confused on whether treatment oils should be used before or after moisturizers :)
tried essence of argan oil for my skin and it works to reduce acne , dark spots and fine lines
Great video on demystifying face oils, a lot of misconceptions on what they are and how to use them. I learned a lot
Felicia can post a video on how you do your hair?? i love the effortless curls/waves!
Aw thank youu! I might do that on an IG video for you soon then! It's actually super easy 😊 - fel
When do you use essential oils? Before or after moisturizing your face?
I have oily, acne prone skin and I have used Rosehip oil here and there in the past, but recently I read that while it was great for fading PIH marks, that it should "NEVER" be applied to active breakouts. Have you guys ever heard this or know why that might be?
I was just thinking about how to use oils in my skin care! Thank you!!
Woow yayyyy perfect timing heheh! Hope it all makes a bit more sense now 😊 - fel
I tried mixing my own oil for skincare in the past but never see a big improvement on my skin. Until recently I used Kiehl's midnight recovery oil which contains various elixir oils for anti-ageing!!!!!!! My wrinkles are less apparent and my skin feels so re-energized! you can read more about the review here --> sowourplanet.com/kiehls-midnight-recovery-review/ I feel so much more confident and younger now! Would highly recommend this oil
And you are right. I should make a video between allergies and irritations...
can you guys make a video on the oil cleansing method, but I don't mean double-cleansing. I mean using oil to wash your face after makeup is off. People say its really good for getting rid of acne
love your channel so much! you videos are always of such high quality and so informative i really appreciate it. I have learnt a lot of great skincare info from you guys xx
OMG I DIED when you said that hot chick reference NOBODY I know knows that movie and I watched it a ton as a kid . So glad I subbed. Notifications on yo!
I love love love your videos ladies! Awesome work.
I wonder though, when you talk about the levels of sebum production during the day,is it the same for people who work at night and sleep during the day? I'd love to hear your response to this
I have dry skin due to accutane. So I'm using melvita argania oil. Work wonder for me. Non clogging and make my scar fade.
Tq for sharing face oil video. I can learn more.
Thanks so much for sharing that with everyone! Great to know that you've found something that working wonders on your skin, it's hard to come by with all the options out there 😂- fel
So informative, i start using face oil maybe about two weeks ago, i found fews oil that i need, its oke to mix it, and its make my skin really really improve and getting better...
How to dilute them?
@@anjagalan6905 From what I've read I've always done 1 drop essential oil to 10 drops carrier oil. I like almond or jojoba oil but you can use hemp, coconut, or even olive. Ofc use caution if coconut oil or something breaks you out, use a different kind. Some people also dilute in water, it depends on what your use is.
@@peachykeenqueen72 I have a jojoba oil and coconut oil. I'll try researching and experimenting on the mixtures. :) Thank you for this.

Thanks for doing this skin care series. You guys are awesome!!!❤❤❤
Hi! Question: Do you put sunscreen before or after a facial oil? Also it is better to use oils at night than day? Thanks☺
I was hoping to see the Tamanu oil in this vid, but it wasn't included. Maybe bcs it's underrated
What skin type is that best for?
It is used for acne and hyperpigmentation as a spot treatmeant
