Thank you so much. It is so eye opening. I want to make a brief of your video here.
Mistake 1: apply on dry skin -> apply oil on wet skin
Mistake 2: use too much oil -> use maximum 3 drops of oil for the entire face
Mistake 3: use the wrong oil. Unless you have extremely dry skin, oil with heavy texture like coconut oil (or advocado oil,...) is hard for skin to absord. -> use lighter texture oils such as watermelon oil, hemp seed oil,...
Mistake 4: not hydrating skin enough before using oil -> use humectant before applying oil (humectant is a substance that is able to moisturize skin, for example: vegetables glycerin. You need it because oils aren't hydrating skin but just locking the moisture).
Mistake 5: use rancid oil -> never use oil that smells or passes due date
Mistake 6: use only 1 type of oil -> mix different oils based on their vitamins and minerals profile, or alternate the oil every month or so.
Mistake 7: use the same oil in the morning and evening. This is not a mistake but just like an advice. You can use oils which are not-so-fast absorbing and not-an-ideal-makeup-base but rich in vitamins and minerals in the evening

Hello everyone I just want to make a comment on what she said about nobody should ever use coconut oil on their face. Saying that it’s too heavy, and that it usually causes breakouts, and that you shouldn’t use it on dry skin!
I have been using coconut oil on my face for over 10 years. I’m going to be 45 this year and people say that I look like I’m 30 years old. I use the oil not only for moisturizer but also to massage the wrinkles and fine lines off of my face and forehead. It doesn’t cause any breakouts and it’s really good for when my face does get dry.
I am quite sure this lady is very informed about a lot of things, but coconut oil and skin care is not one of them. Because coconut oil doesn’t usually cause these negative effects for people, it’s only for certain types of skin.
If you want to know what types of skin are not good for coconut oil, then I suggest doing more research and not just taking this ladies, kind words as a scary truth. Because a lot of women use coconut oil on their face as a daily moisturizer, make up remover, wrinkle reducer!

Thank you for nice video, very interesting. I started using OCM when I was living in Australia.Changing from cold, dry european weather to desert impacted my skin very badly: blackheads, whiteheads and patches of oily skin in my overall dry face. After wasting quite a lot of money in chemical stuff that made It get even worst, someone told me about OCM. I started with avocado oil +castor oil and It did the miracle in a week, and australian weather, dusty wind and extreme Heat was not a problem anymore. Then I started experimenting, and what I currently use (now living in subtropical country) is a pump of hempseed and a few drops of castor. At night I switch castor for rosa mosqueta or argán oil.I particularly LOVE the smell of hempseed oil. I never use coconut on my face, except after beach days when salt,Sun and wind make me feel I need something more.

Last ones kinda seem untrue for me. I'm not an expert at all but I used to have very dry skin and putting all types of creams on my face (same as different types of oils). Since I stopped with any skin routine and use nothing else than olive oil (also not regularly, only when I feel the need to wash my face or to hydrate after shower), my skin has simply learned to regulate and take care of itself. Even if it's dry after shower and contact with water and I don't put oil on it, after a few hours it's hydrated itself again.
So I have the feeling if I give my face different types of oils, it will get lazy again and relying on the ingredients it gets.

It doesn’t clog pours and it also doesn’t sit on the skin. Well, it works really well. One thing I would note is that people that have any acne on their back should not be seeing massage therapist Although we can use gloves if you have acne, it can cause more breakouts should be using a shower brush to clean their skin and see a dermatologist or a nutritionist..
often it is related to the gut.

@@naturallyhonestlabs Hello I'm Loretta De Los Rios using Frank's account to make this comment with his permission. I have hypersensitive sensitive skin. And recently it got sensitized. I notice I can't use my regular face cleansers. One of them is a oil that I enjoy. But the washcloth I have would be to harsh on my skin now., How does one use a oil to wash their face? Also what is the benefit of using the oil on a wet face? I read a comment herein saying that they differ with you on applying a oil on a wet face because it will repellant the oil and it wont penetrate into the skin., And that topping it of with a moisturizer would be better. Can you please advise this comment?
Thank you. I enjoyed this video but still have questions. 🙏🤲✝️🤗

Mistake No 8, never put an oil in your body or face and go into the sun.
Mistake No 9, never use any lemon mixed with essential oils for your body or face
The best hydrating and moisturising cream or lotion is aloe vera juice or watermelon juice.
    Peace

Thank you for this helpful video, but my objection is for using the pure glyceryn on the skin. I have read multiple times that applying pure glyceryn on your skin can cause the opposite - dryness. So the best way of using it is the mixture with other ingredients, maybe some glycerine products you can easyly buy. But i agree glycerin is the perfect humactant before using face oils.

    • @twilightincosmos
      @twilightincosmos 11 місяців тому

glycerin will only cause u dryness if u leave it as it is on skin without applying a layer of oil on it....I have been following her other video of how to apply oil where she damps her face ...put on a humectant and then the oil...it works perfectly for me since quite some time
