i recommend the innisfree orchid eye cream or the mizon snail repair eye cream. they're on the cheaper spectrum of eye creams and they work great on all skin types!
ua-cam.com/video/8VTNV_V_T7E/v-deo.html This is an explanation on how eye creams are a waste of money. I think there is another one that actually recommends some eye creams, I need to find it though
ua-cam.com/video/7KMNQofAuBo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/vBjNeAJXvrU/v-deo.html I found them! These are really good. These are reviews on ingredients mixed with personal opinions, I guess it really depends on your skin 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I've tried all the types and for removing makeup, I found oil and micellar water best at removing eye makeup, and balms best for complexion makeup and sunscreen. So I remove my eye makeup using a cotton pad with oil or micellar water, and the go for an all over first cleanse with a cleansing balm. I use cream or liquid ones as my second cleanse. Wipes hardly do anything, you have to tug your face off for them to remove makeup
I personally use African black soap and then after since my skin feels so dry. I finish off by using the Cetaphil cleanser to bring back that skin like feel. Personally this combo has worked wonders on my oily acne pron skin.
stacie cook none of them are that good and the facial mist/sprays are horrible for your skin. The only good product would be the Drying Lotion. If you want more info/proof checkout the UA-camr Hyram. He does a lot of skincare videos too. He did a Mario Badescu video.
I recommend not getting ANYTHING from Mario badescu their products are filled with nasty drying ingredients and fragrance the only thing I will ever get from them is their drying lotion for a pimple but that’s it
I'm a little surprised that you mentioned the Dove bar soap. I tried to use it, but it was too harsh for my sensitive skin. I prefer the Cerave moisture bar. I travel a lot, so I keep it in a travel soap dish, and when I'm overseas it also doubles as a body soap.
Anushka Dwivedi you only need warn water and a cloth for intimate hygiene. Those fancy soaps that say they restore ph balance are a lie and will only irritate it cause your ph balance to get messed up which leads to a bad smell. Creating a cycle
I have tried many things from bioderma to garnier cleansers from face wipes to cleansing oils ! I have comb skin ! But the only thing that worked for me was pH-balanced soap bars (pan )too ! I just love it
I recommend the Klairs black sugar charcoal soap. It's amazing for deep cleansing your skin without irritating it and my skin always feels very smooth after using it and it works well for acne. The first 2 times it felt a little drying since I never used a soap before but after the first 2 times my face never felt dry again. I'm on my second bar of soap and the first one lasted me about 8 months when I cut it up in 6 pieces. It also foams well if you ad enough water. If you have really dry skin you might want to try the rich moist facial soap from Klairs (I have combination skin).
Honestly I love facial soap bars! I keep mine in a tiny plastic bowl in my shower and I can just wash it out with the shoulder water after each use. I also have combo, sensitive skin and it helps me to clean my skin with soft, natural ingredients that don’t cause irritation or breakouts.
When i use bar soaps, i usually cut them into small pieces so it doesnt get wet and dissolve so quickly. And a bar of soap can last me half a year that way 😂
woah such a great lifehack. I know you probably don't cut it as small as those viral IG soap cubing cutting videos but that's what first came to mind 😂😅 -Ro
Hey, I have combo/oily skin and it works perfectly for me. But - it feels super stripping, I can't imagine using it if I had dry skin. from what I've heard, it's mostly for acne skin, that's why I bought it in the first place at least. You need a heavy moisturizer afterwards though. I bought my bar like 1-2 years ago and its almost still as big as when i got it (use it once a week).
Ana Karen actually it's meant for combination or oily skin it works well but sometimes it's a little harsh so make sure you're only using it once a day (if you want to wash your face twice then wash with a gentle cleanser in the morning and the african black soap at night) and make sure to moisturize after
Love your videos girls! 😘 Just sharing a good practice. We all agree that the under eye area is the most sensitive part of the face and eye make up should not be rubbed on it. Mascaras, eye liners and eye shadows should be removed separately rather than rubbing all over the under eye area as their chemical compositions can be too harsh for the under eyes. 😉
For cleansing oil cleansers, u can simply use oils. Just use the most high grade, organic oils you can find, I recommend whole foods. Coconut, grapeseed oils are a few suggestions.
Just thought I should mention, considering they don't say anything about it in this video, Clean and Clear products actually have a LOT of irritants in almost ALL of there products. Clean and Clear does work for quite a few people for acne, however, long period use of Clean and Clear products can damage your skin because of the number of irritants. I would suggest only using it if you have a skin concern like acne and stop using it once the acne is cleared up to minimize the damage to your healthy skin. I had really bad acne in my early 20's and was using Clean and Clear products, my Dermatologist ended up telling me what ingredients to stay away from in skincare products because they damage healthy skin and Clean and Clear has a lot of these ingredients.
Aurora Lee I think they just mentioned it because people are always whining about the price points of the products. It's important to point out that most products are pricey because the better, the more expensive. Unfair, but that's life.
My skin is alittle bit oily but it gets dry easily 😶 like.. whenever I use a product or a face cleansing.. I used so many things but it still gets so dry most of the times Sometimes it gets alittle bit oily ( not so oily ).. and it gets so dry in winters it also causes acne.... ( some small pores and red acne around my chin, but it only shows up for about a few hours or sometimes less than a hour and they just disappear ) So after watching this video I realized I have a [ combination + dry and sensitive ] skin.. thank you !!😍
the sidmool kakadu amino cleanser is the best cleanser i've ever used, contains only 10 ingredients, fragrance-free. It's perfect for every skin type including sensitive ones. it's just amazing! The price for the quantity & quality you get is awesome!
I triple cleanse at night. I use dermalogica pre-cleanse oil then use my face halo to make sure all my make is all off. After that I have been trying the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel cleanser. So far I am really liking it. I usually use the Nude Milk Jelly Cleanser but couldn’t get to Mecca when I ran out and decided to try something different.
We have one actually! We talk about why they happen and some natural remedies to help reduce their appearances. But don't stress too much about them, even the thinnest of people have them - it's totally natural! - Fel x
When I use micellar water to remove makeup, I often use the cotton pads more than once since I don't have too much makeup on. Before I use the cotton pads I also cleanse around my face everywhere except my eyes, and then go over with the micellar water on cotton pads just on the eyes, and do a full face cleanse at the end before spraying some toner and putting on the rest of my products. I really don't feel good if I use a lot of cotton pads because they're so disposable, so that's a trick I do to make it last longer. :)
Could You Please Review Lush Products???😊 I used their products quiet a while, but I really want to know what do you and what your audience think about Lush products. Thank You! :)
i like bar soap because it's most environmental friendly as it can come with zero packaging or just a piece of paper, and carry-on ok no matter how big it is.
this is a real good video. got so educated especially on micellar water i didnt know what that was. however, i do not advise makeup wipes and using cotton pads cos it produces waste (bad for the environment) and also wipes drag across your face
Love all your videos, always learn something new. Any chance you can talk about milia? Those white head things under/round the eyes? Thank you so much!
I have those white bumps all over my nose and under my eyes as well for the past 8-9 years, and it doesn’t matter what I do, It won’t go away. I even used retinol prescribed by a dermatologist and it did nothing. I don’t know if to call it milia or what not, but I’m so frustrated, and desperate to get rid of it. Can someone please recommend on a treatment for this condition? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@stavcohen180 i heard that sometimes it has to do with genetics and your skin itself. A dermatologist here on youtube said that the myth about milia and heavy, thick facial creams is not true.
I love this video because it breaks down all the different types of cleansers and the best ways to use them. I've always used dove to wash my face because it's cost effective. I'm currently trying to improve my skin health and part of that doing a lot of research. I'm glad to know I can keep using bar soap without fear it's murdering my skin.
Gillian Wills have you actually used the products from the DE line? And if so, how many of the products and for how long?? Because DE is AMAZING. Yes, it's expensive, but that's because it's worth it. You get what you pay for. It's gotten all this hype for a reason. I've found that most people that say it doesn't work are those who can't afford it so they haven't actually given it a chance🤷🏻♀️
I just use a dove beauty bar to wash my face and I love it because it’s cheap and it’s not soap it’s part moisturizer to it doesn’t strip your skin😊😊 I have sensitive combo skin if that helps anyone😊💕
Super excited to try cleansing oils. It seems to be an additional hydration source for a skin. Do I need to use cleaning oils if I never put make up on my face? Can you give the list of product you are using in this video to get such a glowing skin😃😃😃 Thanks!
I love 2 bar soaps for my oily, acne skin: the marble and charcoal facial soaps from Erno Laszlo. They are very gentle and they deep clean my pores. I recommend trying it.
You can actually store bar soaps in a container, with a sponge inside (ones that are coarser, have those big holes on it). It helps the soap from melting away when it comes in contact with water 😁
Just bump into your video a few days ago and now I'm hooked on your channel 😊. I rarely wear make up for my daily routine. Would I still need to do double cleanse?
I've been using this black african soap for a while cause there's quite some good reviews on the internet, is it good or should i stop? i have sensitive, combination
Do I need to double cleanse when using a cleansing balm? And can you please explain about the pH level a cleanser should be, and how do I find the pH level of a cleanser? Thanks! ❤️
I really like the idea of the cleansing oil and the gel. But I love the Neutrogena wipes. Would it be too much to use all three? Which order would be the best if I did?
You guys are so cute 😍 tanx for the great info! my fiancé suffers with extremely bad psoriasis he's tried everything from medical creams off his doc to over the counter ones until trying dove soap& im delighted to say its nearly gone, 😁 all the money he's spent trying to rid it, €1 for 2bars he's delighted with himself! Best! Super easy to understand, super important and finally someone have dove the total barrack down what its what and what if for and for who. GREAT JOB GUYS
I just bought the yay for the earth -from @stevieyaaay -and the ingredients are: organic olvie oil, beeswax, organic shea butter, raw honey and organic pomegranate seed oil. I have combo/oily (acne prone) sensitive skin, so I thought could be good (I try to find the less chemicals ingredients as possible and if it's in glass even better!!) but then I saw your video and you talk about oils in your skin and how it can block your pores... so now I'm a little confused because this facial moisturizer is made of oils so... Maybe It can be bad for my skin?? Thanks:)
The soy cleanser is soooo good. It's my firsts ever cleanser I've bought. So I have oily skin and it gets rid of the oil but my face still feels comfy. My shine isn't rly there and it has a light refreshing cucumber smell to it. I also got it in my eyes alot of times but my eyes weren't in pain at all. It removes makeup rly well too but for lightweight makeup. U can get the travel size, it'll last u a good month or two. If u have questions about it u can just ask me by replying.
Jennifer Christina no it rly doesn't. I have acne prone skin too, it was my first ever cleanser. It was so gentle on me, it got rid of the oil and left my face comfy. It's just awesome. I actually repurchased it. I've experimented with so many acne cleansers and products. That one is the only product I would repurchase
Can you please make a video about Purity by Philosophy? I can't find any really good scientific breakdowns about it. I love it to pieces and really want to know how it works and why! It works so well but I'm curious how it compares to other cleansers. That would be ah-mazing!
Hey i have a question .. i have oily acne prone skin . i use The Body Shop Tea Tree facewash and it is great but i wanna add a morning facewash on my routine so can i use Clean and Clear Morning Burst facewash in the morning and at night The Body Shop Tea Tree facewash?
Hi, I just use sunscreen, no makeup.. to do the double cleanse, i use a cleansing oil. is it okay to use miceller water instead of a cleansing oil and forward to face wash?
Hi! Beauty Within UA-cam channel. I'm your channel fan. I think that this video is really good ,but I have some doubts about cleansing face by using saline water and flower of salt water because in Thailand, many people think that they help to reduce acne on face ,but when I search in google and researches. Some said that the saline water and flower of salt water can change the PH-balance of facial skin. I doubt of them so much. Please answer me and help to solve my doubt. I expect your answer so much and I really like your channel.^^
Hii!! I need help! Lots of it! I have acne prone skin/oily. Super oily. Is there any possible way to make a video made for specifically acne prone skin.
I do a pretty heavy cleansing every night before bed, accompanied with all of the products. In the morning I typically just wipe over with micellar water and a toner/essence. should I be doing more?
So I've got this on my mind for a long time. I come home from school around 2pm and usually I wash off my make up right away with my clinique cleansing balm. Then before going to bed i wash my face with a foaming cleanser. Should I switch up my cleansing routine?

I have combo/oily (acne prone) sensitive skin, so I thought could be good (I try to find the less chemicals ingredients as possible and if it's in glass even better!!) but then I saw your video and you talk about oils in your skin and how it can block your pores... so now I'm a little confused because this facial moisturizer is made of oils so... Maybe It can be bad for my skin?? Thanks:)
For the oil cleansing is better to use natural oils (like argan, jojoba, grapseed...) or using brands that sell emulsifying oils?
Also, instead of wiping off make up w cotton pads, a microfiber face cloth is even better. I bought stacks of them just for personal hygiene.
Where in the steps of double cleanser would be micellar water? It works better with oil or water cleanser? Thanks in advance :)
Can u plz describe the difderence between cleanser n facewash n which one is better,?? Plz help me out with this .
Does it clog pores or cause acne? I have acne prone skin and I need major help finding something right for me.
