Finally went to manual mode for first time today in my Yard, I am going to need a lot more room and altitude to tame this. Its great that you can just pop back to sport mode as its super unstable, but I could tell it was unleashed.
I was at that park watching this. I saw the first part on switching it to manual mode. I threw on the Googles before watching that you had to turn off angle limiter... 😅 Let's say all that training ment nothing and I was so confused on how my drone was acting. Very glad it made it down safely. I was very shocked when it was limited by angle. We will see tomorrow the difference
No amout of camera drone operation prepared me for how difficult manual mode was for the first few days. Please don't skip the sim, I don't care how good you think you are at maneuvering intelligent self hovering gps drones. Manual operation is a different beast entirely. But there are many excellent UA-cam channels that help you to make adjustments.
Could you please help clarify WHY we need to tighten the joystick screws? I understand that "this is how most fpv pilots have it", but why? What advantage does it provide? Can we still fly well in manual mode without it?
Because you have to manually control altitude. Also if you powered on the drone and the joystick is centered it will launch your drone straight to the air plus it limits your ability to control everything that’s going on in the air
This was a great video! Any chance they will give us any more aggressive controls with the motion controller? Like a half M mode? Im so annoyed that it didn't come with the controller 2
Setting everything up prior to this video with controller connected couldnt start motors in normal/sports mode? Will try switching over and enabling manual mode in custom buttons and see if this solves this was just going to fly around in normal/sports mode with fpv controller and couldn’t get motors started
great video! question - once we make the modifications to the screws in the back to fly M mode, can we just leave them as is and still fly in N or S modes that way? i can't see why not but wanted to make sure. thank you.

As someone who also flys with the throttle as the left stick like the majority, would you recommend doing anything to the right stick, I know it’s all personal preference, but do some people loosen the right ?
I crashed my drone the first time I unlocked manual because it went straight up into a tree when I took off. Didn't realize it was going to be that fast

I see this error so many times, you are confusing attitude with altitude, the setting is Attitude not altitude!
