Land Rover Discovery 2 car door panel restoration!

The day started off rainy, so I decided to do an indoor project. I removed the driver door card and tried to make it less disgusting. Its not perfect, but now I can rest my arm on it!

The plaid is a thumbs down 👎 if it was me i would have just peeled off ugly suede and glued new suede or painted that area , i have the same issue with that ugly nasty suede maybe i glue leather in its place but nice video maybe you look at buying drill brush attachments my inferior nasty too 😊

I actually tried a leather piece before the plaid piece. But it was m t stretchy so I couldn't get it to contour over the bumps. And in the end I never could get the panel back into place. I think just cleaning it is the best option. The light grit sand paper worked great for taking the little fuzzy bits off and just a mild soap got it really clean. I'm working on cleaning up a Porsche 968 now and I did get some of the drill brushes. They work great!

That would have been easier than the tweezers! Honesty I'm glad I got it clean instead of replacing with the plaid, because then I would have to do the other 3.
