Is having 5 apps with background location access much more draining than 1 ?
I would have thought Android handles locating the device, then communicates the latest polled location to apps when then demand it.

I have a Pixel 5a and it used to have the Battery Optimization for individual apps right in the settings. The Android 12 update ruined it like it did most things. Now what you have to do is individually go to each app's information in your home screen and manually change it. Most apps are by default optimized, though.

Mine does not show an option to change 5G to LTE. Most of your settings aren’t like mines on my pixel eight maybe I need to do an update.

Yes I guess , they keep syncing the data in background if it's turned on .

That's because all apps are optimized by default on Android 12

preferred network type is different on my pixel 5. says global lte/cdma, and lte/gsm/umts
The toggle was totally missing for me just automatically connects to 5G or LTE But the toggle was there Before the December 2020 update

I've been kinda using my phone alot charged and when I put the charger out and wait for like 2 minutes my phone just instantly shuts down. Does that have to do with my battery breaking? Or it's just being use while it's charging
