Excellent suggestions. After I implemented most of your suggestions, my Pixel 8 pro goes from 7am to midnight with a good amount of work use and has about 50% battery remaining when I go to bed. The biggest suggestion that I have in addition to what you've listed is to not use the Gmail app. That seems to be a pretty big power suck on most of the Android phones that I've used. I use outlook. I find that choosing between light and dark mode affects my mood, personally i steer away from dark mode for this reason. With rogue applications, well UA-cam is the number 1 battery slayer!
Thank you for your video. I'm not a big fan of Location-on either, but it is important to have this on to increase chances of finding your phone when misplaced, lost or worse case stolen. So, i would not suggest having it switched off always.

How is your black mode is true black and not dark grey? Im referring to the setting menu its amoled true black in dark mode, my pixel 8 pro doesn't look like that in dark mode
GSM Arena has rated the battery life of the Pixel 8 just under 90 hours. Even the Pixel 6a is better. Will these tricks vastly improve the device's battery life? Will it easily help me get just over a day and between 5-6 hours of screen on time?
The mere fact you gotta do all this just to eek out a little more battery is bad. Lets just be real. I have a Nothing 2, Edge plus 2023, Zenfone 9 amd Pixel 8 pro. Yes, the pictures are great but other than that, this phone compared to the others....nah. I can't kill the edge plus or the nothing.. Zen as well amd dont have to do any of these things. Lets not even talk about the battery when youre not using wifi. Wow, just staright trash and 5g in my area is excellent. This phone as a phone just underperforms..
I am very happy with my 8 pro. To each their own regarding phones in my opinion. I enjoy the creativity implemented by various manufacturers but prefer the pure Android experience on the pixel. The battery time on the pro is extraordinary as are many of the features.
You give good info but you talk and move the screens so fast that i have a hard time to follow. After developer options, i got lost coz i cannot catch up with you. Sorry!
In location settings you can also disable wifi and bluetooth scan, in case you don't disable the location tracking completely
