Thank you very much for the great info. At 75, this stuff is like a foreign language to me but you make it understandable. I never know whether to do an update or just leave it alone. Our motto growing up on a farm was, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Thank you so much! I updated my phone a few weeks ago, and have had to recharge my phone CONSTANTLY! I thought I was going crazy. “What’s up with this battery?” Now I know!
Finally a complete BREAKDOWN of these.. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for having the full transcript, it helped to get back on track when I got a little lost.
After switching back again to an iPhone 15 pro (last I had was iPhone 8) after happily enjoying high-end Android devices, I appreciate any hints, recommendations or best practices to make the iPhone/IOS experience less painful and actually enjoyable. Thanks for your content!
Thank you David for keeping us all updated, great channel
Always great updates for our iPhone 📱 thank you ✌🏽🇦🇺

Thank you. As someone new to the iPhone I found it quite useful.

Updated as you went along!, this is so helpful. Thanking you:)
Thanks! Appreciate your insights!
I'm not familiar with your channel and just happened to stumble across this video and decided to watch it. Very useful! My iPhone 11 Pro Max battery life is not what it used to be as the battery health is at only 85% now. I followed all your suggestions and hope to see, some improvement in my Battery life.
How is the improvement ?
how was your experience?
@@testingtime7780 it's hard to say exactly, perhaps 30 minutes more per day?
Thanks guys top notch information as always!😎
Thank you for what you do, as a Psychologist I struggle to comprehend the authenticity of the word “genius” when it would be “genius” to allow me to know what my phone does clearly and STOP updating a supposedly brilliant device so frequently then complicating HOW I USE MY OWN PHONE you are great thank you !
Ok , I systematically followed I have liked all you videos and systematically turned off your suggested battery saving items as they made sense to me. BUT A few days later I went to use my trusted focus Do Not Disturb and it did not display anymore the option “until I leave this Location”. (sure I still had off “for one hour” or “until this evening” but not the one I use ) I was tearing my hair out until I thought of this video. I went back to your video and retraced my steps. The #1 step was to Turn off “ Alerts & Shortcuts Automations” so I turned it back on and Bingo!!! It worked, the disappearing option in the Focus DND was added back! I realize the aim of this video was to save battery life but some items may have more to them than meets the eye and now I am nervous as what other things in my phone will be affected. Thought you would want to know.
Yep! You wanna save the battery life - turn off you phone.
The point of this video is to explain what each of the system services mean and it’s up for you to decide if you use those features or not. If you don’t, you migjt aswell turn it off so you won’t waste battery.
Wow what a great info I stumbled upon. I just did what you have reco. Many thanks bro
Excellent video, I know Apple does a lot of tracking and monitoring and this was super helpful. Just bought a new 13 and followed your instructions.
Thank you very much for this great information that allows us to protect and take care of our devices. Greetings from Buenos Aires
Thank you so much for this!
Also significant locations are used a) to show where is your car parked on apple maps and b) to make optimised charging work…
Very informative! Thank you!
Love these videos! Thanks 🙏🏻 still got most of these bad boys turned off after first learning about you back in iOS.14 !!!!
OMG I found this channel by sure accident and boy and I happy I did. What a giant difference in phone battery performance and so much more knowledge. I’m excited to get the pdf and save on my thumb drive.
I’m hoping I can use the same methods for my iPad as well. Thanks 😊👍🏼🇺🇸
Watching from Cambodia 🇰🇭. Thank you so much for the useful and helpful video.
Thank you so much! You make this information interesting
Amazing!!! Thank you so much. Question: when Apple pushes another version out do all these settings get reset?
Thank you for providing you suggestions. Thanks!
U did so amazing explaining all of these clear and simple apples one reps could never help me understand them and I got a bogus answer from them every time and there answers kept changing so thankful I came across ur page!!
Thank you for great information
Very clear and informative! Subscribed! Thank you!

Ok I took all ur advise let’s see how well it works thanks for the vid
Am in my seventies, am not a “techie”, and so depend on your advice.
Thank you.
A warning came up in my iPhone that said that my phone was hacked and I am being watched, or something like that.
A orangeish yellow dot appears above the Wi-Fi fan when using my cell phone.
Your videos are not only highly informative but also so fun to watch😂😂.They bring the best of both worlds …You’re the best
Agreed ❤😃
Hello and thank you for the update. I have a i7, still working with an iOS 15.8.1. I noticed that few features are missing compared to yours on the screen. I followed your advice. I'll see what happen next. Cheers.
Outstanding video! Thank you! 👌
I love these Payette forward videos on iPhone system services and security! thank you!
Once again, thanks David. I sent the link to my son. For safety and/or privacy concerns, of course. Cheers.
Thanks for ur videos i follow those apps need to turn on and off
Wow. Thank you! This is beautifully presented, including the REASONS for doing what you're doing.
I would love to see a video about what app store privacy issues--what each of the different things under "data linked to you" means, for example, that app devs are collecting and if those things are obligatory or can be turned off once you have the apps
Thanks, I was struggling with this 🙂.
I used to follow this channel exclusively but since it's dropped almost entirely off the radar , two VERY EXCELLENT alternatives are now used. So long!
Very informative and the narration is pleasant 👍
Thank you!!! Very helpful.
Very helpful video keep it up!
Awesome. Thank you.
Thank you amazing video!!Can you tell me please what case do you have on your mobile phone?
You need to have System Customization and Significant Location on for the battery optimization to work properly
Thank you very much sir for this very informative video.
Extremely helpful! Thank you!
Very informative, thank you 😊.
Thank you so much for this video, I had no idea what’s so ever.
Thanks a lot your knowledge makes it easy to my life
Amazing video, thank you so much!
This was great thanks!
Very useful video. Thanks
You guys are Awesome! Thanks
Great video, but I ended up turning “alerts & shortcuts automations” back on. I like to use Focus DND “till I leave this location,” and turning this setting off removed that. Thx!
Thank you so very much for this information!
I am amazed mine still works, I've disabled just about everything !!
Great, great video and very helpful. Apple turns on certain services by default and it's helpful to know whether they are useful and how to turn them off.
You remind me of one of those spy kid robots after being turned good. This was your decided purpose. Thank you
Thanks for the clear, detailed explanation. I'm curious whether this will have any positive effect on my SE 2020 (battery replaced recently, health 97%, less than average usage => 16-17 hours battery life).
I must have watched a similar video sometime in the past because I already had most of these turned off, however there were a couple of newbies, so thanks.
Nice tips, didn’t even know about this.
Thank you for doing all that work. I am bow a subscriber because of it. 😊
Brilliant thanks very much.
Thank you. I shared it with others.
excellent video , you always on top .
Excellent info: to the point. Thanks
Thanks for sharing!!!
Only channel I watch for IOS updates and tips, cheers from Aussie.
Thank you, this was my first laugh today! Out loud! Routing and traffic section- ?!?!?!?lol?!?! Atmospheric correction data base for? :) loved it
And I laughed, too, because I don't drive, and apparently the "routing and traffic" function is a big battery drainer.
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the quick and very useful reminder of how to delete unwanted "stuff"
Great info. well presented. "subscribed" ty
Thank you, Sir.
Thank you
Thanks very much David. I just upgraded to an iPhone 15 Plus so this video is extremely helpful. My phone didn't have the Cell Network Search you mentioned so I'm wondering if it's only an US based feature? Thanks again. Love your very helpful videos!
I’m so glad I came across this video. Only yesterday I was thinking how long it had been since I watched a video from this channel.
The idea of getting a reminder when reaching a certain location is brilliant and it simply boggles the mind why Messrs Apple invest money into creating such things….and then tell no one.
And if there’s this one, there are probably many more.
What do you mean by "tell no one"? When I set a reminder I can choose being reminded at a specific time or when I leave or reach a certain location. Just an example
@@marinaalex0510 I meant that Apple introduced a brilliant, useful feature and instead of touting the achievement so people can know and use it, it just slips out among bug fixes like it was nothing.
Wow this is great thanks!
Thank you👍👍👍
