    Btw, dark mode helps saving battery if your phone has an AMOLED, or OLED (yes, i know there are many difderent names, but still), because in the black areas, the pixels turn off. However in an LCD screen for example, they don't.

      LCD is more efficient as they are not rated for high brightness as high as oled and LCD don't need to light up every individual pixel making them more efficient than OLED.Yes OLED are quite inefficient in power consumption.Proof OLED phones give better battery backup in indoor conditions if you are outdoors in direct or indirect sunlight the phone consumes significantly more battery LCD display don't suffer from this trait.

    Instead of removing animations, go into the developer options by tapping the build number in software settings I believe, 10 times, scroll down to animation speed and set it to 0.5, which makes all animations 2 times faster, taking up less time, making the phone feel more snappy, and best of all, you still have them, they are not simply gone.

      But it causes more power battery 😂

    • @AngryCanine
      @AngryCanine 8 місяців тому

      @@rayhanyallur Except it doesn't. The less time you spend on animations the more you get what you need to get done. As little as that is, additional things is the phone spends less time on blur effects and other transitional effects, and if it is done right, it cuts the frame rate of the animations rather then simply speeding it up. 120fps is what it should be at normal speeds, and 120fps is what it should be when sped up to 0.5, meaning its rendering less frames to accomplish the same effect just sped up which we wont the difference in frame rate because it will just be the same sped up or not, and look just as smooth. There is a reason my S23 Ultra lasts a long time. Charge it every 3, sometimes 4 days if I am light with it, and that is 3-4 hours screen on time, which includes music, youtube, camera, and general browsing and social media use. I have had my S23 Ultra for 4 months now, bought it used, and it still looks and performs as if it were new.

    • @kleptodathief3946
      @kleptodathief3946 8 місяців тому +6

      better yet, just turn it off or set it to zero animations!

    • @AngryCanine
      @AngryCanine 8 місяців тому

      @@kleptodathief3946 yes, make your phone feel boring or plane or better yet, generic. Having some animations at least doesn't feel like a generic cheap phone, and setting the animations to 0.5 is snappy, quick, and best of all, still there. Using GoodLock I believe you can even change the type of animation but I am not too sure on that. But still, just turning it off is just boring, and don't understand why you would want that.

  • @Scott-M1
    @Scott-M1 Рік тому +91

    23: I think protect battery is there to reduce charge cycles, and battery wear, by not always going from 100% to 0% all the time. Which is bad for lithium ion batteries.
    Personally i use protect battery, and switch it off when doing a full charge every 1-2 months. For non-removable batteries, this is a must imo.

    As a battery saving tip, I'd usually use a battery limiter (like Chargie - there are others in the market though). It works like battery protect. But with the device, I could actually control the discharge too. Plus, I can set it to 90% or 95% charge, leave it overnight, and it wont go beyond that and it won't overheat. Might not be for some of you, but it kinda works for me.

    i strongly believe in the protect battery that stop charging at 80% now is really useful coz after 2 years my wife A53 battery stil can hold charge coz it doesn't continuously charge even when at 100% which she used to leave the phone connected to the charger sometimes up to 24 hours without unplugging & her previous phone the battery die less than 10 months probably due to overcharging ( unable to hold charge anymore ). i totally support this feature!

    Nice video , But ,just letting folks know!! By removing animations!! 2 things will be obvious, No charging wheel on plug in charges..Your search wheel ,dissapears,.. Search wheel just stays in a pointed arrow, then it logs on
    Also alot of flickering , with you tube searches.. by removing animations
    Also!! We all know it's dead wrong for brands to spy, just know, ( which can happen)) If any of us thinks ,you can just oust these brands from snooping etc....Disabling ,etc..The phones can act up..they let ya know that at times( misbehaving) ..They find a way with disabling ,for anyone's privacy etc..They'll goof ur phone up somehow.

    19:15 Li-Po batteries found in phones degrade faster if left for prolonged periods of time at either a high percentage or low percentage of charge. The best battery charge for long term storage is 50%, and it's best to aim to keep your phone between 80% and 20%. Most people will end up frequently charging their phones overnight, which adds a significant portion of time where the battery is being stored full of charge (being full or near full is what negatively affects Li-Po batteries' long-term durability in such situations, I'm not saying they'd be getting overcharged).
    This has nothing to do with what chargers/cables you're using, it's simply how these batteries decay over time. Energy being discharged from/charged into the battery also wears it down, but this setting is a good one no matter how good your charger/cable is (hardly any would damage your battery in this way as you insinuate, anyways).

    A charge it will not put too much power Into your device, A modern device will draw whatever current necessary based on the charge level and the temperature of the battery.
    This statement saying you shouldn't use cheap charges is. However, correct, but whether you choose a Samsung approved charger or any other decent charge will make absolutely no difference to the weird level of your Battery what's the battery protector setting which limits To 85% Is to increase the overall life spine of the battery by reducing degradation. Lithium cells do not like being held at 100% or their full charge voltage for extended periods of time Most lithium batteries are rated for approximately 800-1200 Charge cycles before they lose 20% of their capacity. By limiting the full charge to 85 You are not fully cycling the battery and therefore you slow down the degradation. You see a lot of phones now. Advertising fast charging or quick charging at a rated maximum wattage. That advertised charging rate is only the peak and it will only charge at those speeds for a very short amount of time and then it reduces the charge rate as it gets closer to full charge. If you have a device rated for 45 Watts, a new buyer 100 watch charger. It's not gonna force 100 watts into the device. It does not work like that. If you buy a charger that is the correct protocol which is these days, is usually power delivery. The device will negotiate The charge rate with the charger. If it does not negotiate or it is not the same protocol, it will not quick charge, so it will only charge at 5 or 10 watts. The reason why you should not use these very cheap bottom of the barrel charges. It's because they are made to a very low quality. And some of them haven't even passed safety standards and have fake markings on them like ce marks. Please charge us can be potentially dangerous and they could damage your device and potentially cause a fire. That is why you should not use these charges.

    I know it's a privacy hazard to save location history, but at least in my country, disabling it counts as an aggravating circumstance if you're legally accused of something. Yes, it sucks😢

    Hi, guys,
    Would you know a way to delete many gmails at once, perhaps by date or sender or subject? I can select a bunch of messages but see a “delete all” function (iPhone 11 Pro Max, latest OS). I have amassed a huge number of messages - they make my phone very heavy. Thanks!

    I use a Motorola and the Android settings UI is different from Samsung One UI Settings. Please make a new version demonstrating it on Pixel/Android UI instead of Samsung One UI because names, locations, and management can vary greatly.

      Yeah they will surely make a completely new video when most of those settings are in a relatively similar place if they exist in that form. By taking an adittional minute or se you can find most of it on other UIs. Surely harder though than making a new video for them for each Android rendition for every company

    When you say you don't "need" 5G, what does that mean? For speed? What you're doing is stopping the phone from constantly searching for a 5 G connection. Correct?

      5g is faster. 3g is slower eats more battery but is far more stable. Atleast on my phones. A30s s20fe

    The biggest battery drainer is using mobile internet data. Mainly 4g and 5g. Turning off mobile data, and only using wifi, increased battery life noticebly.

    • @RajR2000
      @RajR2000 Рік тому +1

      It is better to keep it on as it adjusts the screen brightness according to your surrounding. Because most people increases the brightness and than later on forgets to decrease the brightness.
