I have to agree with some of the other comments. you really did do a good job explaining things not only on this video but also on "How to change plugs without breaking" Ford f150 2004-08 models.

Yes. Those plugs are a design failure.

I just bought a 06 Lincoln Mark (beautiful truck) unfortunately after doing timing, full tune-up, and new cats🙄 it's still running crappy 😒. Took it to a handful of mechanics none have suggested this simple fix. Was just talking to God about it then I looked up something like rough idle and found this. Will definitely be trying this on the next warm day. God bless you for sharing ur knowledge 😇 being a single truck mom ain't easy 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Just did this today, the wife was complaining about hesitation between 40-50 MPH in her '04 F150, spoke to a few folks and they pointed to looking at the throttle Body first before replacing or considering the spark plugs. I searched youtube, found your video and the process was straightforward step-by-step. competed the entire process in less than an hour. I drove it down the freeway pushing it hard between 40-50MPH a number of times and it was no longer hesitating, and.... it's now running smoother overall. Thanks for the video. Saved me time, didn't need to take it to my mechanic, and saved me a good amount of $$$$.

Really?..I have the same issue with my 2005 f150 5.4 Lariat, hesitates between 40~50 mph goes away if I give it more throttle. I hope doing this to my f150 removes that hesitation also

I want to first say thank you for your time you put into your videos, and then also the professional approach you use with no foul language like some of the others. Your approach is short and sweet and to the point.
Will be the first to say I wish you were my neighbor so when I go out and try these things on my truck and when things go south I can tap on your shoulder and ask where I messed up. 🤨
    Thanks again,

Every time it's time for me to change my spark plugs and clean the throttle body and MAF I come watch your videos on these 2 things about 10 times each, all over again.
You're very thorough but you don't take forever to go through the process. I have a 2006 Ford F150 5.4 3v Triton. I love the truck and if you take care of it, it runs beautifully. Ford just wimped out and didn't take care of their customers by giving a free 1st round plug change.
Anyway, I am grateful for your help with this. Will be trying to catch a warm day here in the next week or so and get this taken care of. Thanks and Jesus bless.

My truck has 173k on it and this fixed my eratic idle and stalling at stop signs. It idles perfectly now and runs better than it has in a long while. Make sure you plug everything back in or you'll get weird error codes coming out the yin yeng...I forgot the top one and thought I was screwed, plugged back in and it ran perfectly nice smooth idle somewhere between 500-650 rpm...tough to tell with the crappy tach.

A relearn of throttle trim should be done as well. Disconnect battery and put jumper across pos and neg cables to discharge all capacitors in memory. Re connect battery, let it idle till full warmup, then go for a test drive, driving normally. This will allow fuel trim and plate angle to adjust itself.
