"That dude there is good with the guitar" is the understatement of the century.
Yup....... like saying ''Space.... is big'' lol
Yeah....and the dudes in drums and keyboards. They’re also fenomenal....
@@mauriciosimoesdealmeidabot5641 LOL !!
You've got to consider the source....
Lol
What's really amazing about this state of art show is that its almost 30 years old! It's still blowing people's minds!
I got to see them on this tour and I've seen a ton of great shows since then and nothing has topped it other than Roger Waters' The Wall tour. The technology of that tour is 2nd to none!
I'm blessed to have witnessed both and Pink Floyd will always be my number 1 band!
Almost 30 years later and no one has been able to improve upon this show.
Same here. Awesome Floyd concert and I saw Roger doing the wall twice. Every concert is unforgettable
@@youraccount7003 yeah I got to see Waters on The Wall tour 3 times. Saw it once on the first time he toured it and twice when he came back.
The 3d projection imaging he used was just fucking incredible!
I've seen Waters on every tour since '99 and they all have been great shows. The Wall though was just on another level. I don't think I'll ever witness a show that will top it!
Can't wait to see Waters again in August!!!
Got to see this tour at the old Yankee Stadium, and Roger's "Wall" at the XL in Hartford. I'm all set. I can leave this world a happy man.
And they recorded it with 35mm film so it looks like it was yesterday quality wise
When you see Floyd in concert it’s like stepping into an art gallery where the statues and paintings are singing and dancing with you. It’s more than a rock gig it’s an experience- inwardly and outwardly .
I’m 66 me and my mates all lived through it
Whoever is singing with David here is a beast jeeze
I saw Pink Floyd at Budokan Hall, Tokyo Japan on their "Momentary Lapse of Reason" Tour. Best concert I ever saw and I've seen quite a few since 1977.
Was just listening to a rebroadcast of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40, this week in 1977. What an awesome countdown. If only time machines were real.
One of the best live concerts ever. Got to see them in the 70’s!
I got to see them on the Animals tour!
I saw the Dark Side of the Moon concert! Was incredible!!!
1994...3rd row, front and center. Bought tickets in Jacksonville. 45 people outside turtle music store. My brother won the raffle. Cheap tickets, great seats. STELLAR light show, lasers. Such great music!!
If you want something different from them, and you want to feel your soul come alive, try Great Gig in The Sky.
Pink Floyd is not a band. It’s an experience.
Now that is how you end a concert pink floyd are untouchable 🔥🏴🌍🫂✌
I saw this show at Earls Court London. I went the night after the stand collapsed when the show was abandoned. I had got the dates wrong in my diary and turned up with tickets for the previous night. The security guys said there would be an extra date for those with tickets for the abandoned show but said if I wanted to I could take his seat at the front as he would be standing anyway. I literally got the best seats at the front to witness the best show I have every been to. Phenomanal is the only way to describe Pink Floyd at their best.
i went twice...they moved us to another block away from the collapsed stand . gave us another ticket showing our new seat . i still have it complete !...+ saw wall twice at Earls court..+ Animals at Stoke and Dsotm at bingley hall .....
animals
I was 21 when I first heard The Wall. I'm 61 now. I have been enjoying Pink Floyd for more than 40 years!
Amy, Old Grey here, was around1965/66 when I first became aware of the Floyd, took me a couple of years to cotton on to them, never looked back, yup! still enjoying....Peace.
@@davehagi9883 In 65/66, I was only listening to West Side Story soundtrack and Frank Sinatra. It wasn't until 68 that I became aware of other music, mostly John Denver, and didn't hear Dark Side until 76. To have had another 11 years of Floyd would have been amazing.
@@amyv8416 Well I bet it was great catching up, love their music, it really is timeless, making Tea now, fancy a cup?.....Peace.
@@davehagi9883 Just put the kettle on myself.

@@amyv8416 Tea and the Floyd, who would have thought....Peace.
I love to watch the joy on your face. I imagine you're feeling this in your soul, too. Best. Band. EVER. 😁
From the very early Syd Barrett days of the '60s, Pink Floyd was renowned for their (albeit primitive) psychedelic light shows. Seems they're determined to maintain the tradition.
I'm glad you're enjoying this so much.
i was just a boy, and my older brother brought me to see " the Wall" tour. ( kids under 12 get in free.)
i was so lucky to have been there for the original..
im an atheist but that was the closet thing to a blessing i can think of.
the performance was so amazing. it fired me up to hear more music.
i had no idea music could tell a story like that, when i was that young.
now 40 years have passed and i still listen just as intently as i did as a young man.
You should watch the entire Pulse concert when you have time. one amazing song with effects after the other as you have already seen watching only a couple of the songs. I am happy you have become a Pink Floyd fan. Also they just released a song to support Ukraine, "Hey Hey Rise Up" first song in 28 years! ❤☮
That was a wonderful night to see live and Storm Thorgerson's films really added to the experience of remembering Syd Barrett and the early band as well as enjoying the new stuff and Dark Side.
Yes and in the new song he plays what looks like this same awesome '52 Fender Esquire (rather than his usual Strat)
May 18 1994 in the rain at Foxboro Stadium (Home of the NE Patriots). The rain made it miserable but it also made th lasers sparkle and dance on the clouds. Nothing better ever.
For me me who was one uni student in a generation of Pink Floyd fans it is great to see Real Adogg discovering how briliant they are
It's absolute great when i see someone discovering PINK FLOYD for the first time, just love the smiles on there face and you they are hooked for ever on PINK FLOYD.
God made Les Paul who made the Stratocaster and then God made David Gilmour the guitar god to play the Stratocaster. 🎸🎸🎸
I'm now 66 and have been following PINK FLOYD since 1967.
They are the best and nothing will ever come near them there music will live on for generations and the younger generation's are now only just discovering them.🎸🎼🎶🎵🎹🎷🥁
Pink Floyd is timeless. I love watching reaction videos by black folks to music like this. I dated a black woman (I am white) for a couple years and she loved Roger Waters (originally with Pink Floyd) Amused to Death. In fact she wore out a cassette and I had to buy her another one. Her friends thought she had totally lost it. You know all the same old things. "Girl he is turning you white" and everything like that. Never once thinking maybe she liked it. She had her own mind. You are breaking down stereotypes. I can't imagine refusing to listen to some type of music because of color. Music is music. Either you like it or you don't.
I would highly recommend trying out Amused to Death by Roger Waters. The Bravery of Being Out of Range, Three Wishes the whole album is great. The thing about Pink Floyd is if you listen to an entire album from start to finish and let your mind flow it is just like watching them paint a portrait but with your ears.
It's The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range, and yes it is an amazing album.
@@emjem99 autocorrect and I didn't check it before posting. I fixed it.
That's how to close a show. I was there in '94. Still feeling it to this day!!!!
I saw The Pulse Concert in Raleigh, NC. This song was there encore song. I sit on the 3rd row center stage. Best concert I’ve ever seen. Ever.
Ohhh we were FLYIN’ with Floyd!!🙌🏻☮️💜
Glad to see a new generation of people discovering Pink Floyd
This song is one of my favourite Floyd song's 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Saw Pink Floyd at Vanderbilt Stadium 1994 it was fkn MINDBLOWING!!!! P.S. playing guitar is David Gilmour. Luv ur reaction!!!! Always Do
100% badassery. Check out their Animals album. From start to finish....masterpiece...😗
I saw the Pulse tour in person at Yankee Stadium in ‘94. The most amazing live show.
The Great David Gilmore on the Guitar
You have been introduced to some of the music masters of the of the 60's, 70's and 80's!
"They're gonna send you home to Mother in a cardboard box,
YOU BETTER RUN..."
scary song...
One thing is seeing on a screen... I was there, and it make me cry, it was soooo mutch more intense.
Those lasers they used on stage, was i 1994 the most powerful non military laser in the world. I Copenhagen they have to shut down the airport while the concert was taking place.
I saw a couple shoews this tour with them, and one was in the front row, and when those pots went off, you thought your face was going to melt. Good times.
Back in O.C. Calif when I was 27 my wife heard a commercial on the radio about a P.F. show coming up. Knowing I am a Floyd fan she called the radio station (KMET - LA, “The Mighty Met”) to get information on the concert, The DJ on live radio Cynthia Fox…. said...."Congratulations, YOU are caller number 10, YOU just won tickets to the show and the Sound Check Party before the show"...
I met David Gilmour back stage. He gave us both a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I told him his music will stand the test of time with anything from Beethoven or Mozart. He smiled even bigger. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know. . I told him in my eyes he’s a “Legend“. He thanked me and said “Enjoy the show”…. during the concert after the song “Money” he looked right at me and said…. “On saxophone, another Legend, Mr. Scott Page” … acknowledging my comment to him. It is my favorite moment in over 300 shows I’ve seen.
All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible.
I was fortunate enough to see them in concert in Dallas several years ago. Definitely bucket list stuff! Lol, my ex bf had a cousin that worked for the arena and got us great box seats. We had food and drinks served throughout the concert and had our own bathroom, too. Worth every penny!!!
I cried with pure joy as did everyone else in that box with me! (You men ain't so tough.)
Check out the same song from “Live at Pompeii” by Gilmore. The whole group on stage was wearing shades for the light show.
Pink Floyd.. "keep talking" he uses a voice box fusion with guitar.. same concert
This is by far one of the most epic concerts of all time, i know, i went to the Pulse tour concert in 94, the only band I ever wanted to see and it was everything i could of imagined and more. Having said that, i like to recommend, when possible, try to do the Radio and Studio versions as they were the versions most of us heard growing up and falling in love with the music, it keeps us all on a level, I find Live performances are for when you have decided that you love the band and want to go further down the hole only because the Live shows can be influenced by drugs, alcohol, worn out from Tour, and having played the song so many times they are starting to play with it, kinda makes it not the same song we fell in Love with on the radio or out of the stereo at that sweet summer BBQ party. Its just a thought. Love the reactions.
My old man was at this concert. Pulse 1994.
There is not just one song it’s more like the whole album or concert. Once you start you can’t stop
this is acid rock . back in the day we would set speakers in four corners sit in the middle of rhe room and let the sound circle around us. Needless to say it was hippy acid time , thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I've been a Pink Floyd fan since the early 80s. Its weird, I suppose, but when I hear this song, I think of somebody trying to light a campfire with flint and steel. And he fails several times, but he finally gets it to light. That's when the drums kick in, as he's adding sticks to the flame.
I was at this concert in Tampa, FL. Amazing!!
This song ended the concert and was kinda like the "grand finale." That's why it looks like a UFO is landing on the stage and there are pyrotechnics going off everywhere.
That dude is good is an understatement... that dude is THE GOAT Bro. 😎 BTW everyone watching that concert (including me) was high as hell!
This was traditionally their show's closing song.
Keep Talking is another great one from the Pulse concert.
I promise you that you will love One of these days off the pulse concert live. Be ready to be blown away. This is another one you'll love. Epic beyond 💥💥
It's always an experience
best band of all times 😎👍
The last song, the best concert.
I fell in love with this band early in my journey and I guess til the end. I cant even remember the song or place.
It’s so wonderful to see you light up to the Floyd. You really get it!
My faves love em 2 bits!!
Cuz everyone knows what song is coming and it’s gonna be AWESOME!!!!
Pink Floyd is the greatest band of all time. Yes, I am biased. David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist ever. Nobody plays with more soul or emotion than him. He is an amazing talent. I was at the Pulse tour in '94, and the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour in '88. Both shows were spectacular. Words can't really give them justice. I appreciate you watching many of these live performances, but the way to REALLY listen to Floyd is by listening to their studio albums from beginning to end. Unlike most groups out there, Floyd's albums are mostly considered "concept" albums. Meaning all the songs are part of story or journey or whatever. A similar theme. A lot of people think Floyd is "weird" because their songs don't make sense. That's because most of their music isn't "stand alone". Songs flow into one another. Each song is telling a part of the story. Anyway, keep up the good work. It's always great seeing younger folks listening to this great band. They are unique in the sense that they cannot be copied. NOBODY else sounds like Pink Floyd!
really fab. Still one of my absolute fave drummers. Would've loved to have seen David on his last tour or Roger on his last.
I have been a fan since their first recording, Arnold Lane, in early 1967. The last time I saw them live was 1970, just before the Atom Heart Mother album. They had a cult following of spaced-out hippies like myself. They were sometimes spectacular in those days and way ahead of the competition. This concert is a joy for me to watch and a joy to share with you. It is a wonderful blessing to see others find the same pure genius they have displayed since the 1960s. Thank you.
LOVE your reaction! Epic. You can’t fake that smile 👍👍👍
If you went to this concert, how could you ever go to another one? Nothing could live up to this.
I went to three shows for the Pulse tour back to back in Atlanta I saw them in 87 too. But the Pulse tour was the shit!
Pink Floyd is fucking amazing ❤I love all PF albums but I think "Dark Side of the Moon" is my favorite. It's hard to pick just one😊
1994 imagine being there. that was an AWESOME concert. This was the last song we got, you'd like lots of the rest of it, I guarantee that.
Pink Floyd's On the Turning Away. my fav song
At the Pulse Concert, you are seeing 3 members of Pink Floyd from the 1960s putting on a spectacular performance, and they were close to age 50 at the time of the concert.
I had The Wall on vinyl. I listened to it so much I literally wore it out! Too bad movie The Wall isn't available anymore.
FYI; Saw this 5 times. Mark Brinkman lighting director since the "WALL' concerts 1979. 200 ton stage, 53 semis to move it, 200,000 watts of power, 128 speakers, outdoor shows needed FAA clearance for lasers. One of five songs that the Floyd could play from " the wall" cause of the law suit from Roger Waters. Pulse was played 14 days in a row ( sold out) and it was their last concert. Reunion one time for "live aid" with Roger Waters. Watch any video from this concert is amazing. Brinkman also did all David Gilmours solo concerts. Not the big budget but if you want to hear Daves guitar work " live at Gdansk" " Live at Pompeii" Daves last concert, "Comfortably Numb" last time played you tube 125 views.
Now, for another experience, watch this same song done at the Pompeii concert.
They can put on a show!
Man, I gotta tell ya. Pausing a video during an amazing solo is like stopping lovemaking to answer a phone call or a knock at the door.
How about PETER FRAMPTON "Do you feel like we do" LIVE from FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE ALBUM. Another epic guitar performance
Yeah, any Live Pulse song is amazing.
I guarantee you pretty much every Pink Floyd concert had at least 3 out of every 4 attendees being on some type of 3-letter drug enjoying the concert.
Same concert, song name "SORROW" trippin guitar solo, off the scale
Watch "one of these days " from this same concert pulse... see David Gilmour play a totally wild steel/seated guitar.
The entire Pulse Concert is phenomenal. 2 more great songs from that 1994 concert are TIME and GREAT GIG IN THE SKY. The lyrics for the song Time are very important.
Adogg, love your takes on Floyd. I saw them 6 times live, and the reason you hear not much reaction at the end of songs is they are blown away by the lights and sound. One you have to do from Pulse concert is "One of These Days". It's up there with Sorrow and Comfortably Numb. You do a fantastic job by the way. Loved the Elvis tribute about where he came from. Beautiful. Got more respect for him knowing he stood up for the background singers. Lot of people Talk that, not many act that.
"Good" does not even begin to describe David Gilmour.
ECHOES LIVE IN POMPEII 1972
that is my generation and we kicked ass
I saw this tour, still to this day the best show I've ever seen, by FAR
Ah! Yes, I just found this one! So glad you did it!
You asked, I would really enjoy some Steely Dan, Yes, some deep dive Kansas, Eric Clapton. Just some suggestions. Your reactions are wonderful to watch because you really truly dig it! It makes me happy to see you react the same way I did when I started going to concerts back in the day! Your joy is infectious ✌🤘
Every couple years, since I was like, 16, I watch The Wall. Only with psyllicybin coursing through my body. An epic adventure.
Great reaction......to a great concert. Nice work man.
love me some pink floyd this was the closing song when i saw them live in 94
Ive been to a Pink Floyd concert in 1994, The Division Bell tour. They have a great laser light show. David Gilmour is a guitar genius!! Thank you for this....I needed this tonight..stress from work!!
Us and Them is one of my favs. Heck, everything Floyd does is great. David Gilmore has a few solo albums too that are awesome.
The light show on this song especially is just amazing! If you like solos, if you haven't yet reacted to it, I suggest 'Another Brick in the Wall', from Pulse. There are two guitar solos in it. It's one of their most famous hits and I especially like the Pulse concert version.
this was mid 90s pulse tour..watch all you can from this tour...I was at one of these concerts, saw it live..so close to the stage I had to wear and thing around my neck that said VIP across the front of it...got 16 tickets for 1000 dollars to this concert....worth every dang penny,I assure you....one of the best times I ever had in my life that evening...literally...best time of my whole dang life experiencing this concert...
Check out David Gilmour live at Pompeii from 2016 and watch him at 70 ripping this song and many others from his Floyd days....
I saw the Pulse tour in Holland in 94 and Roger waters 4 times in Brazil, best stadium gigs I've ever seen , totally mindblowing, awesome beyond belief!!!!
I would’ve loved to have seen these guys live.
Saw them on this tour twice 94
You know I like what you're doing! I see it's catching on!!! You know I got Pink Floyd stains on me from way back and they're never coming out.
I saw this concert when they preformed it in Pittsburgh. Just amazing. Check out "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" from this concert Pulse 1994.
I knew you'd become a fan!! Awesome to see!!
Probably one of my favorite songs of theirs, despite how rough a scene it was in The Wall lol They are magical, to say the least & it's always so great to see people discover them for first time, I get a little jealous 😉 GREAT reaction!♥️✌
Awesome channel, have a good one from Australia!!!!
It's just so sad that so so many was convinced to not give rock music a chance , they missed so many great concerts . We appreciate you introducing this to the masses . In the early 80s everyone wanted to see floyd .
