Might have been a minute, but worth the wait. Don’t we all need a little more Pink Floyd in our lives?
Yes we absolutely do..
Absolutely! I listen to Floyd every day!
David Gilmour doesn’t play the guitar, he is the guitar !
As good as he sings, all he has to do is play the guitar and I know exactly what he I'd feeling and saying!
I love the guitar solo by David Gilmour but must recognize that Rick Wright's keyboards on the intro and the first verse of the song are Heaven!!
This is my first time really listening to it in its entirety and I am sucked in completely .pink Floyd is amazing..
I LOVE this one❤️❤️. Division Bell was a great album!
Their very best one.
Soundtrack for my life.
That album is truly a remarkable achievement lyrically and sonically. It shows a maturity few groups ever achieve. Right on Sara.🤘😎
@@ronaldelliott4373 IMHO they proved they didn't need Roger Waters. Probably another reason Waters was so pissed at them. "You can't succeed without me!" "Really? Just watch..."
@@napnip Could not agree more.
Pink floyd isn't music alone it's art. David Gilmore let's the guitar do the talking. Love listening to them.
This is classic floyd. The entire pulse concert is great!
One very interesting thing about Pink Floyd that I always appreciated was the first two albums they did they showed their faces on the albums. But after that they pretty much disappeared from their album covers and every time you heard them or they came through town on a concert tour they were a mystery and you didn't know what they looked like and it was always even more exciting to go see them! In fact David Gilmour on an interview said it was amazing that he was in one of the most famous bands and wealthy yet he could go to a mall and go shopping or to a busy restaurant with his family and nobody knew who he was and he wouldn't get mobbed or asked for autographs!! I always thought that was really cool and showed their humility as just one of the guys or just a normal person!!!
I introduced my mother to Pink Floyd in the 1980s. I played and sang their songs to her on my guitar. She loved it. When I bought a concert tape and was watching it on the TV she was drawn to it and made me stop it. She said you're kidding me - that's what they look like? Yes. She said who is that on guitar? I said David Gilmore. She said he looks more like a plumber than a rock star. I said I suppose that's right, it's not a fashion show. We sat down and watched the whole concert together then and a couple times afterward.
it was to ensure that nothing detracted from the Music
I introduced my son to Pimk Floyd while was still in my belly. He's 39 and we still listen. In fact my little granddaughters started wearing PF"s tee shirts when they were 2 yrs old. It's a generational thing now 🙂
@@TrianglesAndCircles
I STRONGLY DISAGREE!!!
Nick Mason looks like a plumber. Dave more like an electrician. Rick Wright definitely a librarian.
@@maryann7619 You're a comedian.
Back in O.C. Calif when I was 30 my wife heard a commercial on the radio about a P.F. show coming up. Knowing I am a Floyd fan she called the radio station (KMET - LA, “The Mighty Met”) to get information on the concert, The DJ on live radio Cynthia Fox…. said...."Congratulations, YOU are caller number 10, YOU just won tickets to the show and the Sound Check Party before the show"...
I met David Gilmour back stage. He gave us both a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I told him his music will stand the test of time with anything from Beethoven or Mozart. He smiled even bigger. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. Hard to explain how awesome that moment was in my life. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know. . I told him in my eyes he’s a “Legend“. He thanked me and said “Enjoy the show”…. during the concert after the song “Money” he looked right at me and said…. “On saxophone, another Legend, Mr. Raphael Ravenscroft” … acknowledging my comment to him. It is my favorite moment in over 300 shows I’ve seen.
I asked David…. How do you create those awesome solos?… he said….. I sit on a stool and listen to what Roger, Nick and Rick put down and play along. I listen to what I played and pick out what I like, then I put the pieces together into one piece then learn to play it as one. Our fans are fanatics for our shows to sound like the albums so I must play it correctly each time in a show. I have the concert Brochure and album on the wall with David’s picture centerfold.
All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible. The Red Fender Stratocaster he used for this concert in the Guitar Collector World is ....PRICELESS
David Gilmour is a guitar God. Those clean notes, extremely hard to pull off. A joy to listen to.
Yes , any of us with any kind of soul loves this man. Mr. Gilmore...what a Master of emotion. He did a great job carrying on with Floyd after Roger quit.
A complete hymn to our planet, nature and life
I have seen Pink Floyd Live 4 times… I saw this same show Syracuse Carrier Dome in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap froged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all.
My favorite band of all time along with my favorite musician off all time!!! Nothing comes close
This Pink Floyd "PULSE" production from 1994 is my absolute top live album, ever. Magic performance in every single song. Lights, sound, choir... everything superb.
Thanks for your reaction :-)
Listen to them live especially the genius of David Gilmore is the closest you get to an out of body experience. They make you feel like you’re just flying above it all!
Great reaction man, really enjoyed it. I saw this concert in 1994 in Atlanta. Nothing compares. Subscribed
WOW must have been a fantastic experience to see this live!
David always plays the perfect note at the perfect time that communicates directly to your soul. I'm a metal guitarist and appreciate the talented shredders but, David can play one note through two measures that would demand my attention and respect that other guitarists couldn't touch with a string of 32nd notes.
Dave Mustaine’s comment regarding David Gilmour and his guitar playing was outstanding. I don’t remember it word for word but sums up what you texted. Great stuff.
Sorry to the people that never got to see them in concert. I was lucky/fortunate to see them in concert. They are known for their light show, my seats were five rows from the top. Got to see the light show in full effect, and smoke rises. (hint hint) Lol 😂
They were on my bucket list to see. Then we lost Richard Wright. My bucket list will never be completed 😔
No one has the touch that David Gilmour has !!!!! Great reaction !!! ❤
Coming back to life! As strange as it sounds,So moving and yet uplifting as well.!
Welcome to the Pink Floyd young man! Listening to them will bring you much enjoyment and enlightenment!
Brings tears to my eyes everytime
I love love love Dave Gilmore, he was sent to entertain us from God. His playing is inspirational for me. I first heard this song back in 1994, still love it 30 years later. Rock On Dog!
David Gilmour is simply the best!
I enjoy watching your reaction to the music we old farts listened to in our youth. I still on some days. Thought I would throw out a few I still enjoy you might find intresting! Cat Stevens: Father and son, Moody Blues: Question, Three dog night: Momma told me not to come, Van Morrison: Into the mistic, These are the days,Dr. Hook: Sylvias mother said, Cover of the Rolling Stone, Loggins and Messina: Dannys song.Youngbloods: Darkness darkness be my pillow, Rain song. Again I think it is fun seeing how you seem to enjoy the music!
The Master, David Gilmour gets more emotion from a guitar that anyone else. Genius is an overused word but not in this case. If I could back in time and go to any performance of any band, it would be Pulse.
The Division Bell is one of my favorite album. This song is from that album. Love the album.
Brother i loved tje way you loved that. I wish you and you family all tje best in the world sir. From a humble wee Scottish guy 🏴
Not many Bands sound better Live than they do in the Studio but...this is the Anomaly that is Pink Floyd! These Guys are World Class Musicians through and through! Rest in Peace Richard Wright! I wish the Pink Floyd Run could've continued Forever but it wasn't to be.
Great reaction, A Dogg!! Your videos have been great for a long time, and it’s really cool what your explorations of Pink Floyd’s music has become. The soul which David Gilmour’s guitar work exudes is truly emotional. His wife Polly wrote many songs on “The Division Bell” including this one. Never saw these “ Pulse” tour shows which promoted the album, but saw them with family and friends during the previous “ Momentary Lapse of Reason” tour in ‘89 at Veterans Stadium in Philly. Best show ever, of hundreds of live concerts which my 60-plus years have witnessed. Keep up the great work!!
Not big on non band videos but this one needs watching in today's social problems. over 7 million views. Pink Floyd " on the turning away" ( 1989-07-15) FM by thinkfloyd 61. 1989 and is so relevant today.
Woodstock is a legendary week long outdoor FREE concert.
Love Pink Floyd ❤their music will take you places 💗
pink Floyd, was one the only bands I know of who were given endless time in a free studio to do what they wanted to do, thus came their first 2 albums. and from this came the wonderful music we have today. Roger waters and David Gulmore are genius.
Sir David Gilmour has his Stratocaster plugged straight into his soul.
My fav song off The Division Bell album. Possibly my favorite album of Pink Floyd.
This is my favorite song of theirs, have the guitar solo as my ringtone. Thanks for sharing.
Incredibly underrated song. I understand why though. You don't generally expect such a positive vibe from the Floyd.
Pink Floyd is Legendary! Great reaction man, you know good music brother!
Our respect for the greatness of David Gilmoure’s playing is the same.
it´s time you did the big ones: 1) ECHOES LIVE IN POMPEII 1972 2) SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND (Studio) 3) DOGS (Studio)
If you ever get a chance to see him live, go and see him. You'll never forget the night ✌️👍
Great reaction this is my favorite Gilmour song along with Murder listen to it love to see your traction to it.
My favorite Pink Floyd song!
I think I saw Pink Floyd in concert... but I don't remember. Too many concerts...long time ago.😊😊
The Division Bell. Great album.

Thanks for your reaction! I really love this song!
Thanks; makes sweet chills everytime!
Pink Floyd is a one of a kind. One of my favorites.
Imagine if you will , many of us were rockin and groovin to Floyd in the early seventies... 50 + years ago...
Dave Mustaine once said Gilmore can do more with one note than most can do with a whole fret board
Know you on Pink Floyd = BUT= also check out JANICE'S song " take another pice if my heart" you WON'T REGRET IT !
Pink Floyd is just a darn good band.
David Gilmour é o melhor guitarrista do mundo. Incomparável!
Welcome bro to the club to hear the best band in the world
When Gilmore goes God mode you have to just stop everything and listen
One more if you enjoy a laugh! Arlo Guthrie: Alice's Restraurant. It is a longone but worth it I think!
Great song and reaction. Try to check out TIME live from the Pulse Concert. It is a great song with an important message.
Love this song!
David Gilmour is my favorite 😍
Multiple eargasms
Reaction to "Mother" The Wall 1980. Pink Floyd.
TIMELESS Music!
The Light shows just make this band!
Awesome bro,, great song, you obviously get the ... don’t interrupt a Dave Gilmour solo rule ,,NOT,! Easy mistake but don’t let it happen again 😂... 🍻🤝
If David Gilmour was the soul of PF, Nick Mason was the heartbeat. He was the pulse.
Watch Echoes at Pompeii. They keyed off of him. Vastly and shamefully underrated drummer.
LEGENDS
You see that big smile on Nick Mason’s face?
Saw this show June 21, 1994. Like it was yesterday and one of the greatest nights of my life. Word is David Gilmore has Lewy Body Dementia which took Robin Williams. If true , what a loss to this timeless music.
Damn, I hope not. Just read on another reaction that Brian May died 2 days ago & he didn’t.
Should check out their Animals album sometime.
@@lynnhoffman247 I never looked into it as my buddy(massive pink Floyd and music fan said so) after you made comment, I did a little digging and all I see is rumors.. In fact, he is doing a 2022 tour. With that being said, I have to see him again. Happy Trails✌️
@@ericdilts3690 Glad he was wrong! 👍🏼
Please listen to Fleetwood Mac to your own way on the 1997 dance tour it's the best ever live recording off that song th guitar sol is amazing

Here’s another Bee Gees song I’d love to hear you review. ‘Alone’
Guitar GOD!
Bro. BRO! Why won't any reactor get me? His name is J. Moss. His song is, God's Got It. He's a rapper for the Lord. Please bro!
"He speaks on God Working EVERY DAY. You gotta see/hear this uplifting beat!
he makes guitarplaying seem easy- - well he's in he's in own lead
👍💥
You are my favorite “ reactor “ to watch. I actually can’t one anyone else anymore lol I have a couple of suggestions that I’d love to see you do. “ I Fink UR Freeky “ By Die Antwoord. The official video version. Also, “ Nothing compares 2 u “ Sinead O’ Connor version. Official music video. I think you’d love those. I must see you react to those. ! Lol
Floyd and Dire Straits is my ish.
Take a listen to Don Williams.
Sorry comment was for Joe Cocker video.
Rodger Waters
Great musician who got too full of himself. Pink Floyd carried on so well after Waters left. Did you misspell Roger’s first name on purpose, as some folks will misspell Gilmour? If so, nicely done!!!
If you don't like this music, there's always RAP
if this is how he act when he listens to PF, his head would prob pop like a water balloon if he ever listened to EWF lol
Would be so sick to see you react to the song Violet's Tale by Ren, its actually crazy ua-cam.com/video/a4R9Vk5_CbU/v-deo.html
You should check out my brotha Retro Hndrxx promise u won’t b disappointed
You can't beat pulse 94 concert try keep talking or one of these days 👌
No one comes close to pink floyd
This is a not the best of Pink Floyd. Check out anything older. TheWall. Dark Side of the Moon. Meddle. I dare you you to listen to Meddle.
It's live! 🤮
