I'm 36 now, but I've been listening to Pink Floyd since my teens. Like, a LOT. To the point where I can't listen to a number of their songs because I'm kinda sick of them. But there's a few like Sorrow, Dogs of War, Gunner's Dream and The Turning Away that I'll never get tired of. Paranoid Eyes as well, since I'm kinda entering that soft middle age stage of life. Keep rocking, dude.
Great progressive rock band starting in the 60's. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time. "Wish You Were Here", "The Dark Side Of The Moon" & "The Wall" are among the best-selling albums of all time. They have a huge library of music. Some of their big hits were "See Emily Play", "Money", "Time", "Echoes", "Us & Them", "Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2", "Not Now John", "Comfortably Numb", "On The Turning Away", "High Hopes" etc. I remember going to the Planetarium to watch laser light shows set to their music.
The look on your face when David started playing is priceless!! I have watched his video to this song a million times. It never gets old. David does things with his guitar that no one else can do!!!
In the Pulse concert they did Shine on you crazy Diamond, High Hopes, Coming back to life, Keep talking which is incredible, sorrow, One of these days. And a few more on the first half. Second half iis the entire Dark side of the Moon with three encores, Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, and Run Like Hell! You should react to the entire concert from first song to last song in order. That'll cover quite a few videos for you and will really make your Floydians very Happy.
It's such a joy to see your reaction ☺🙌 You mentioned the backing singers briefly here- if you want to see what they are capable of, please check out The Great Gig in the Sky from this concert ❤
That’s my favorite band ever. I listen to them religiously daily. No other band even comes close. High hopes Echoes Run like hell Wish you were here Shine on you crazy diamond Actually you know what? Just start from their first album all the way to 2012 the endless River. You won’t be disappointed. In between don’t forget their live shows such as pulse and a delicate sound of thunder.
Glad you liked it! I saw all the greats live from the early 70's to the mid 90's and none of them could rival the feel of a Pink Floyd concert. It was literally akin to a religious experience; the sound would just take you out of body! You may have missed this time live but you're lucky to have all this great music available to you; something we didn't have back in the day. I enjoy watching your reactions. Keep it up young man!
Hard to believe Pink Floyd music almost 50 years old that is unreal I'm 70 now I'll be 71 after Christmas yeah I love this old music started listening to some girl bands out of Japan really fantastic people all the songs have positive lyrics
"High Hopes" and "One of These Days" are also epic. Although, I prefer Gilmour's performance of "High Hopes" in Gdansk, because of the orchestra and his acoustic ending.
“On the Turning Away” by Pink Floyd in concert, 1988 (remastered) has an epic guitar solo. The stage production and hot backup singers are icing on the cake!
This is rabbit hole I practically live in. 66 yrs. old. Saw the Pulse concert. Best concert I've ever seen. Went ahead and bought the Blu ray of the concert also.
“High Hopes “ from the same Pulse concert is a classic; illustrates beautifully the talents of David Gilmour on acoustic and pedal ( slide) steel guitar. Tremendous beyond words. The song is also the last song on Pink Floyd’s last album The Division Bell.
David Gilmour is an international Treasure, and Pink Floyd was one of the greatest Rock Bands of all time! Quite possibly the GOAT of Rock & Roll! They are definitely the greatest Progressive Rock Band, bar none! They have sold over 400 million albums, and counting, worldwide, more than any Rock Band in history, (except for The Beatles of course). Pink Floyd was formed in London in 1964, they stayed together until 2006, the year they played their last performances. There's a video of one of their final concerts, full concert video in 2006 at Gdansk Poland, it's billed under David Gilmours name. Actually, there are only 2 of the 4 members of Pink Floyd playing at the Gdansk Poland concert, David Gilmour, (guitar, vocals), and Rick Wright, (keyboards, vocals). They were both in their 60s in 2006.
From the Pulse Concert, watch Run Like Hell. Prepare to be amazed. For another great Gilmour guitar solo, Watch Pink Floyd - On the Turning Away (live).
I'm a 64 year old lady, and I just love watching the smiles and enjoyment of this masterful creation from another time. This is real music, the best it ever was. It gives me chills to this day. I hope I am listening to it when I die.
My ultimate favorite band since the early 70s, Sooooo, amazing live in concert and have to say the Pulse concert and album is the most amazing thing Ive ever experienced in music..."The Great Gig in the Sky" from Pulse sets your soul a flight... They have always been amazing, but Pulse becomes a part of you forever. Thanx for awesome reaction, Peace
They did alot of other songs at this concert. I would recommend High Hopes, Another Brick in the wall, Keep talking, Take it back, learning to fly. Pulse 1994. Same concert.
Gilmore is my favorite guitarist of the last 50 years. It's just icing on the cake that he turns out to be a great person as well. And Pulse is the greatest concert I think that's ever been done. If you're itching for a live Pink Floyd fix, you really need to see Brit Floyd. I have seen them live, and Pink Floyd thought so highly of them that they gave them all their videos to use in their concerts. They found one woman who could actually sing the entirety of the great gig in the sky, where even Pink Floyd had to turn to using 3. And I too saw the laser shows at the planetarium, in Denver. What a perfect pairing.
I have seen a lot of bands live, in concert, over the years. I mean A LOT. All the big classic Rocks bands numerous times each over decades. My list is stupid, ridiculous. I saw PINK FLOYD live 3 times. It’s impossible to describe what that concert is like. They’ve been famous for their stage shows since the 60’s. Not to mention their awesome music. It’s just incredible live. The first time I saw them was in 1987 on the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. To this day the best concert I’ve ever seen. They aren’t even my favorite band! I’ve seen RUSH, PANTERA, STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN, METALLICA, YES, IRON MAIDEN live many, many times. The list goes on and on with a lot more bands. Still the best concert, hands down to this day. And I’ve seen RUSH 18 times! That’s how good this is! Mind Blowing!
The whole Pulse concert is awesome and David Gilmour is an amazing guitarist who utilizes a lot of emotion in his playing. There is actually a really good live guitar solo on the previous tour to this one. The song is called, 'On the Turning Away' and it's from the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour in 1988. I highly suggest you check that out (look for the remastered 2019 version for the best quality).
Yes. unless something was lost in the sound transfer here, the remastered version is much cleaner acoustically with the highs and lows accentuated. The studio version of this is a little flat though. This version is so much more of an experience.
This concert, you just heard MY favorite. These others are awesome as well: - Learning to Fly - Time - High Hopes - Coming Back to Life - Run Like Hell - Shine on You Crazy Diamond Great reaction, keep going!
So the songlist from Pulse was: "Learning to Fly" "High Hopes" "Take It Back" "Coming Back to Life" "Sorrow" "Keep Talking" "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" "One of These Days" "Speak to Me" "Breathe" "On the Run" "Time" "The Great Gig in the Sky" "Money" "Us and Them" "Any Colour You Like" "Brain Damage" "Eclipse" "Wish You Were Here" "Comfortably Numb" "Run Like Hell" The gap after "One of the days" is the concert interval, the songs after that (from "Speak to Me" thru "Eclipse") is their entire album "Dark Side of the Moon" which is one of the biggest selling albums of all time. The last 3 tracks of that album are meant to be played one after the other rather than individually. Then the last three which I think you've already heard were the concert encores. If you want a next choice, then I'd go with "One of these days", it's basically an instrumental but a quite different one. "Time" or "Money" are also good choices.
Pink Floyd is truly one of the greatest of all times! I’ve listened to Pink Floyd since the 80s and always dreamed of getting to see them. I never got the opportunity I did however in 2017 get to see Roger Waters do The Wall live and that was a bucket list item for me. I wanna see David Gilmour live. If I EVER get the chance it would be amazing.
I'm a 74 year old music lover and a new subscriber. Been collecting records since 1955. My generation has seen and heard it all... 1994; when they brought this concert to the San Francisco Bay Area I waited in line for 3 days and got tickets for all 3 nights. Epic doesn't describe the experience. You really need to watch the whole concert... you will be blown away. I'd seen them 4 times before... may I suggest you react to Alter Bridge doing "Words Darker Than Their Wings" live... and Joe Bonamassa doing "Angel of Mercy" live at the Greek Theater.
In the 70's, first time hearing in a good stereo this music...I feel I was in other World... When I see now the Discyokeys I feel this guys invented all so many years ago.
I saw this show live in 94 in Irving Texas and believe me when I say it was outta this world. You felt every reverb to your core. Greatest preformance I've ever been to. Great reaction!
Floyd. A great part of my life since early 70’s. I was just a kid. It’s hard to express the totality of their music and what it does to me… and millions of others.
This rabbit hole is long and deep and will take your mind and soul to places you can only imagine. There is no other band like Pink Floyd. Enjoy your ride, it's only just begun!
I was lucky enough to see Pink Floyd live in the Pulse concert. Best concert I’ve ever experienced and nobody has come close in sound, visuals and musicianship. I suggest you hit the song….Run Like Hell which was the encore finale. Everyone walked out with their jaws on the floor and the words EPIC & GREATEST were constant.
It was epic! I just wish you younger ones had the chance to see them live! I've seen many concerts but none topped Pink Floyd!! We felt the music for days!
There is a tribute band called Brit Floyd that are touring right now. They’ve been doing for about 20 yrs and, they put on an amazing show. They’re as close to seeing Pink Floyd in concert. Check out where they’re playing next.
I am so glad that you’ve found- and that you’re enjoying- Pink Floyd!!! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve put on their album THE WALL, and watched the movie THE WIZARD OF OZ with the volume turned down(on the movie)! If you put the movie on, and start the music when the black & white MGM Lion comes on the tv screen- well, it is an experience! Everyone should do this at least once, in their lifetime! It will change the way you listen to ALL music! It will give you feelings, that you never knew you had! I need to make a donation, because I need to see you do this! One of my favorite things about your videos, is your facial expressions as the music takes you over! I loved this video- as I do all of your videos! Keep up the amazing work! Until next time…… Sending you lots of love & positivity from the coast of South Carolina!!! 💗💗💗
Don’t be scared, Adogg. It’s just the spell of Pink Floyd, transporting you ( and everybody else!) into another dimension. I also recommend ‘On the Turning Away’.
I was at that concert in Oct 1994. That concert was a religious experience. Ruined me for every concert I have been to since. Comfortably numb was the last cut and everyone exited in awe and silence they were so overwhelmed. Gilmour is IMO the greatest guitarist ever. Lots of others out there but nobody puts the emotion into it he does.30 years later and he still has it.
This was filmed over a few nights. They did 12 or 14 shows and over 230,000 people saw them in London. I saw them during this tour twice. Once in London then Columbus Ohio. I was visiting my cousin who worked at the American Embassy in London and knowing I saw them for the first time in 1969 and many times she scored 4 tickets for the Thursday night show. This was from that show. The Comfortably Numb epic solo was another night in the same week.
My god I wish I was you listening to this for the first time, I have been listening to Floyd since I was 14 I'm now 64, and they still make my skin shiver. Keep up the good work in getting this out to new generations they won't forget it. Now do your self a favour and watch the whole of the Pulse concert ....... its Epic but if you want another epic look at pompey echoes to me it was one of their first real pink floyd greats, I'm sure you won't forget it, they look like a bunch of school kids compared to pulse
" Echoes " at Gdansk . Dave said he will never play that again do to Rick's ( keyboard & co writer of song ) passing. Dave said and (if you listen to it), they talk to each other with their instruments.
Gotta say...as soon as I saw that you were reacting to Pink Floyd, I had to subscribe. So glad to be here, and welcome to the rabbit hole. You're never alone here.
This concert was unreal. The low end of this song made me look at the rafters cuz I thought the concrete was gonna start crumbling. Check out the concert video in full.
Learning to Fly, Us and Them, and so many more. They definitely have a unique and unmistakable sound and will always be a favorite of mine. Can't wait to see more reactions
Greetings, Da Real Adogg - Pink Floyd doesn't tour anymore, but Brit Floyd, the Pink Floyd cover band, is terrific, and currently on tour. We saw them at Red Rocks Amphitheater last year - an outdoor venue in Denver - and it was stellar! Same vibe! Sound performance! I suggest that (June 7, 2022) or to see them wherever it is convenient for you. But Red Rocks is a great place for a concert! If you have not been, I suggest you GO! My girl and I are going there again this September to see Nine Inch Nails.
I've see this Pink Floyd twice, including this tour and Roger Water 5 times including the Wall Concert, and this is the best single performance I've seen by ANY band.
Echoes either live at Pompeii or Gdańsk is just exquisite. The Pompeii one is decades earlier and to an audience of ghosts. The Gdańsk one is the completion, a musical conversation at the end between Gilmour and Rick which will leave you emotionally wrecked when you realise it’s the final time they play it together. What a journey. Great reactions, enjoying your channel!
Seeing Pink Floyd in concert is a spiritual experience, the same as Tool! If you don't get the chance, watch their concerts on your tv with all the lights off, and surround sound!!! ❤️🎼
I am so glad to hear "Pink Floyd !! I followed them around in the 70s the two best shows were Dark side of the moon & Welcome to the Machine. Grate Concerts😁😁 fun to see the same reaction I had in my 20s. Still rock 😎😎 ing Grandma Katie
So many people say that Comfortably Numb from this concert is the best live guitar solo ever. I think this one is even better. Honestly, pick out any song from the Pulse concert and you can't go wrong. "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2" is great - two guitar solos from two different (both excellent) guitarists for the price of one! "Keep Talking", "Coming Back to Life", "Run Like Hell", so many to choose from. Pulse even has the first complete live performance of the whole of the Dark Side of the Moon album. Other Pink Floyd or Pink Floyd-related concerts - The 1988 tour version of "On The Turning Away", David Gilmour's solo concerts in 2006 at The Royal Albert Hall (DVD called "Remember That Night") does an epic version of "Echoes" (although others will recommend either the Gdansk version - which I don't think is as good, or the 1972 Pompeii version), and in 2016 in Pompeii, there's "In Any Tongue". But again, picking out any random song from any of these concerts and you won't be disappointed.
Everything about this performance of Sorrow is hypnotic. Others from Pulse : Run Like Hell, then you're ready for One Of These Days. Then try...On The Turning Away from Delicate Sound Of Thunder live.
You have started in the modern "age" of Pink Floyd, great songs and great performances. I think you will feel like flying if you react to the old "age": Echoes in Pompeii (the one from the seventies).
WE ARE SO CLOSE TO 1,000 LIKES YALL EVERYBODY PLEASE HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON!!!
When destiny's align LOVEBITES
Shadow maker LOVEBITES
Holy war LoveBites
"High Hopes" was one of the best songs at that concert. David's introduction is nice.
I hits it 😉
Gilmour is in a class by himself for emotional/expressive playing. So much heart and soul in every note. And what a signature tone !
I'm a year late, but it truly warms an old mans heart to see young people listening to and appreciating real and great music.
😎🏍💨👍
I'm 36 now, but I've been listening to Pink Floyd since my teens. Like, a LOT. To the point where I can't listen to a number of their songs because I'm kinda sick of them. But there's a few like Sorrow, Dogs of War, Gunner's Dream and The Turning Away that I'll never get tired of. Paranoid Eyes as well, since I'm kinda entering that soft middle age stage of life.
Keep rocking, dude.
Glad you enjoyed the video. This was back when music was real and artists actually had raw talent.
Good song (boomer)
Right. No autotune, no post production bullshit. Just raw talent distilled and channeled right into your soul.
Great progressive rock band starting in the 60's. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time. "Wish You Were Here", "The Dark Side Of The Moon" & "The Wall" are among the best-selling albums of all time. They have a huge library of music. love Us & them.
Wish your were here, as well as run like hell🤘
I actually saw them on a rainy day in Hyde Park 1968. Actually I wasn't that keen on them. I didn't know what would be happening a few years later.
Let's go!! Down the rabbit hole, I'm game.
“Run Like Hell” live off the Pulse Tour …. It’s the next song after Comfortably Numb. Loved your reaction 👏
The look on your face when David started playing is priceless!! I have watched his video to this song a million times. It never gets old. David does things with his guitar that no one else can do!!!
On the turning away live from Delicate sound of thunder tour is worth checking out.... the remaster is awesome.
Comfortably Numb, Sorrow and On The Turning Away, the best 3 live David Gilmour solos.
I was at that concert at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island and saw them film it! It's extra special to have that re-mastered concert video! :)
Dogs of War, from Delicate Sound of Thunder...Bad Bad Bad Bad Bad!!!!!!!
Pink Floyd has so many great songs. Glad you appreciate their talent...you rock Addog. Seeing them live and the light show is an amazing experience
That’s my favorite band ever. I listen to them religiously daily. No other band even comes close.
High hopes
Echoes
Run like hell
Wish you were here

Actually you know what? Just start from their first album all the way to 2012 the endless River. You won’t be disappointed. In between don’t forget their live shows such as pulse and a delicate sound of thunder.

RUN LIKE HELL is another great song from the Pulse Concert (1994 London). Buckle your seat belt!
HIGH HOPES, at this same concert, unforgettable ! Dave\ll show you his talent on the pedal steel guitar ! I promise you'll never forget it !!!
"High Hopes" and "One of These Days" are also epic. Although, I prefer Gilmour's performance of "High Hopes" in Gdansk, because of the orchestra and his acoustic ending.
I agree!:) The Gdansk version of High Hopes gives me goosebumps every time:)
The Gdańsk Comfortably Numb is also outstanding with the live orchestra as an added treat. Gilmour does not get cheated on his solo, that is for sure!
High Hopes is my favorite Pink Floyd song.
@@kellydwightfields2281 It was also sad for me ...thinking of the past.
David Gilmour lives on his own planet!☘
“On the Turning Away” by Pink Floyd in concert, 1988 (remastered) has an epic guitar solo. The stage production and hot backup singers are icing on the cake!
"Of the turning away" is the another masterpiece from the same show. Pulse concert has got to be one of the most incredible performances of all time.

For another great Gilmour guitar solo, Watch Pink Floyd - On the Turning Away (live).
The entire Pulse Concert is filled with excellent songs.

“Run like hell “Pulse concert is really good. ❤️🔥
Possibly the greatest concert in the history of history!
best band of all times 😎👍🎸🎶 next one from Pink Floyd - On the Turning Away ( live to the Delicate sound of Thunder concert 1988 ) 😎👍
Pink Floyd knows how to make you feel as if you're in their music. Its definitely an experience!
They did alot of other songs at this concert. I would recommend High Hopes, Another Brick in the wall, Keep talking, Take it back, learning to fly. Pulse 1994. Same concert.
Unbelievable what David can do to your heart and soul with his guitar. He pours out love, love, love.
Gilmore is my favorite guitarist of the last 50 years. It's just icing on the cake that he turns out to be a great person as well. And Pulse is the greatest concert I think that's ever been done. The name of this concert is "PULSE" IS THE BEST CONCERT EVER!!! But you have to see 👀 it in it's entirety. It will blow your mind!!!!
This concert, you just heard MY favorite. These others are awesome as well:
- Learning to Fly
- Time
- High Hopes
- Coming Back to Life
- Run Like Hell
- Shine on You Crazy Diamond
Great reaction, keep going!
He hasn’t reacted to Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Time yet??! Duuude…
Check out their first Album "Relics". I love Pink Floyd since 1970....i was 10 at that time
Love your channel, I look forward to tunning in everyday when I get home. You are the "Real" deal and I want to thank you.
So the songlist from Pulse was:
"Learning to Fly"
"High Hopes"
"Take It Back"
"Coming Back to Life"
"Sorrow"
"Keep Talking"
"Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)"
"One of These Days"
"Speak to Me"
"Breathe"
"On the Run"
"Time"
"The Great Gig in the Sky"
"Money"
"Us and Them"
"Any Colour You Like"
"Brain Damage"
"Eclipse"
"Wish You Were Here"
"Comfortably Numb"
"Run Like Hell"
The gap after "One of the days" is the concert interval, the songs after that (from "Speak to Me" thru "Eclipse") is their entire album "Dark Side of the Moon" which is one of the biggest selling albums of all time. The last 3 tracks of that album are meant to be played one after the other rather than individually. Then the last three which I think you've already heard were the concert encores. The guitar ending to Another Brick in the Wall is truly stonking too.
David Gilmour doesn’t plug his guitar into an amp. He plugs it into your soul.
3:20 When the bass drops and then comes back up, for me, it's absolutely beautiful.
In the 70's, first time hearing in a good stereo this music...I feel I was in other World...
When I see now the Discyokeys I feel this guys invented all so many years ago.
You need to watch a whole concert This is the Greatest group by far. EAR & EYE CANDY. ... Enjoy Brother.
I saw this show live in 94 in Irving Texas and believe me when I say it was outta this world. You felt every reverb to your core. Greatest preformance I've ever been to. Great reaction!
The intro and ending is some of the most relaxing, atmospheric guitar ever played
Floyd. A great part of my life since early 70’s. I was just a kid. It’s hard to express the totality of their music and what it does to me… and millions of others.
Glad you liked it.
I saw their tour in 87/88; this song, was my favorite performed live. best concert Ive ever been to and i have been to quite a few.
have seen them 3 times live...trust me, after the 1000th time listening, it just gets better and better. This song was top on the list live
This rabbit hole is long and deep and will take your mind and soul to places you can only imagine. There is no other band like Pink Floyd. Enjoy your ride, it's only just begun!

Glad I got to see them live in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s amazing show
There is a tribute band called Brit Floyd that are touring right now. They’ve been doing for about 20 yrs and, they put on an amazing show. They’re as close to seeing Pink Floyd in concert. Check out where they’re playing next.
My favorite all time Pink Floyd song played LIVE!!
Hey Dogg Pink floyd is a one of a kind group.....I dont think there will ever be a group like that again. im so glad you like and appreciate them>
Love All Pink Floyd 🎶 God Bless From Northern Maine💖✌🙏🤘
i was there wow what a night other ones to watch from the pulse concert great gig in the sky and the closer run like hell best live band ever
All i can say , i grow up with their music . It opened my mind , helped me through so much , they will never be forgotten in the Hitstory of art .
Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
Yes!
Great reaction!!!
One of my favorites so far!
"Another Brick in the Wall"
"Wish You Were Here"
What a lovely heart felt comment and I must say when I listen to them I feel amazing. every time
This was filmed over a few nights.
They’re all great.
Coming Back To Life, Run Like Hell, Keep Talking, you really can’t go wrong on choices.
Looking forward to it.
" Echoes " at Gdansk . Dave said he will never play that again do to Rick's ( keyboard & co writer of song ) passing. Dave said and (if you listen to it), they talk to each other with their instruments.
... imagine being there - live @ Earls Court back in '94. Gives me the chills evertime I think of that experience... :-)
Gotta say...as soon as I saw that you were reacting to Pink Floyd, I had to subscribe. So glad to be here, and welcome to the rabbit hole. You're never alone here.
You can feel the music in your bones I saw that big smile on your face you where feeling it too 🙋🏻♀️
Next up: Run Like Hell from the PULSE concert!! They pull out all the stops and ALL the lights 🙌🏻🙌🏻
You can't go wrong with anything from Pink Floyd, all of their music is great!
I saw two of the pulse shows and every song was epic, but Sorrow was really epic. Stay with Pulse, its the best of the best.
How one man can get so many different variations of sound out of guitar is legendary...DG is the G.O.A.T.
The entire Pulse concert is great, Run Like Hell is one of the best closing songs for a concert ever.
High Hopes - amazing. Gilmour on (electric) acoustic then the steel slide solo will blow you away, then closes back on acoustic
They say this show shook the folks to there bones . The whole place was thunderous to the soul
Fantastic song by a fantastic legend, Pink Floyd!!?
Us and Them (live Pulse Concert) is life changing.
David’s guitar never speaks over him and David never speaks over his guitar …..💨🍄🥃❤️
On the turning away live. You will not be disappointed.
YES!! Keep the Pink Floyd coming! One of These Days is another banger from this same concert. ✌🏽
