4:56 they explain that its a handheld tablet like thing that you can mount to your wrist in the manual (well that you can dismount it was said in fallout 2)
I will note that it is likely that the Pip Boy 2000 from Fallout 1 and 2 is in fact wrist mounted, as there's nothing in lore to suggest that the Pip Boy was ever handheld in any variation, plus in the canceled Fallout Van Buren which was basicially meant to be Interplay's version of Fallout 3, the Pip Boy IS shown to be wrist mounted, though due to the low quality models, it's pretty much looks like a green brick. I hope this helps! :3
Yeah and they did apparently confirm it was mean to be wrist mounted but that was way way later post modern fallout so that's not worth much in terms of "the now" Still that makes it harder to understand, like goddamn how big is that thing
@snowycity The closest thing I could think of for what it could have possibly looked like is somewhere in between the Pip Boy from Fallout 76 and oddly enough the one from The Frontier new vegas mod, but aside from those, I don't think we'll ever get a true idea of what they truely looked like.
I like the design concept of the Nuka Cola rocket bottles, but if there was a way to make it work with less bulkiness that would improve the design. The "vending machines" are garbage though. It's really just a fridge that barely has space for 6 bottles. Wouldn't even be worth the money to keep it plugged in.
I get what their going for with the Fallout 4 assault rifle, like there tryna make it almost dieselpunk esque to fit in with the Brotherhood of Steel but i still cannot believe it passed through however many people and they were like yeah that's fine.
Very cool video an I hope you continue this ( I disagree tho on the nuka in Fo4 I think it's very clever design cause the bottle kinda resembles a missile )
Pretty sure the reason they can’t use the old model in the future games is because coke has trademarked that specific coke bottle type. So probably to make it more unique, which I personally love.

Great video! Also, if you ever need more suggestions, I would love to ear what you think about Vault redesigns and maybe some gameplay mechanics, like how radiation poisoning works in the Classics/Fallout 3 & New Vegas/Fallout 4 & 76.

I completely disagree on the Alien Blaster. I really dislike the copper color in FO4 and think the New Vegas/F03 has the best color. All of their designs are okay but the color matters most to me.
If I have to be frank, I think Fallout 4 has the best designs for living things/robots. The people, creatures, and robots look more like they could actually exist rather than the clay creatures being resurrected in 3 and New Vegas. Yeah and they did apparently confirm it was mean to be wrist mounted but that was way way later post modern fallout so that's not worth much in terms of "the now"
Still that makes it harder to understand, like goddamn how big is that thing
@snowycity The closest thing I could think of for what it could have possibly looked like is somewhere in between the Pip Boy from Fallout 76 and oddly enough the one from The Frontier new vegas mod, but aside from those, I don't think we'll ever get a true idea of what they truely looked like.
Came from part one but I've literally binged all your videos after love your videos my guy
thank u 😤‼️
I agree with you about the pip boy glove, I was actually upset when I accidentally deleted the pip boy glove in new Vegas.
The nuka-cola bottle now looks like a nuke
So glad I stumbled across your channel, really looking forward to new videos you make!
Thank u‼️‼️‼️‼️
As a man names Charlie once said: "yeah baby, that's what i've been waiting for, that's what it's all about"
I remember looking at the assault rifle in silence, thinking why does it look at that.
sorry but, fallout 4 nuka cola is the one good fallout 4 design, it may not be a TASTY design, but its certainly iconic.
Bro i thought no one else had those coke neurons but i totally relate to that
Very cool video an I hope you continue this ( I disagree tho on the nuka in Fo4 I think it's very clever design cause the bottle kinda resembles a missile )
The Fallout 4 assault rifle looks like something out of Call of Duty Vanguard before Call of Duty Vanguard existed.
Pretty sure the reason they can’t use the old model in the future games is because coke has trademarked that specific coke bottle type. So probably to make it more unique, which I personally love.
Honestly the plain old Fallout 3 Assault Rifle just hits home the classic simple G3 design I don’t know the way it looks makes me want to use it over the Chinese Assault Rifle
I honestly got more of a FN FAL vibe from 3's assault rifle ( it's the wood parts). I can totally see the G3 in it though.
@@joshuaolejasz9590the fallout 3 rifle is a g3 with wood furniture. The predecessor to the g3, (CETME) did have wood furniture in some cases, and was identical to the assault rifle in 3.
Would've been cool to be chambered in .308 or had reduced spread to match the fire rate.
@@NicholasLaRosa0496 yeah
The Pip-Pad mod for fallout 4 is the best “pip boy”
I gotta give it to the FO4 PIP-boy tho, i love the knobs and how you navigate it compared to the others
Hey, the fallout 4 pip boy is gr- Oh right it looks like that. Almost forgot I used a mod to make it actually look good
The assault rifle peaked in FNV with the m16 service rifle
I like the fallout 4 assault rifle because it looks so much like a mg-08 which I am always partial to.
If the 4 assault rifle had just gone completely "Return to Lewis" and used the power armor being toonclumsy for modern quickchange barrels I could almost go for it, or even gone full water cooled monstrosity, but instead it's a mix of water cooling and Lewis Air cooling.
I love the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy, it feels so real and commercial.
The alien disintegrator looks like a futuristic musket lol
Pipboy glove rant is so real, it looks cool as hell
Great video! Also, if you ever need more suggestions, I would love to ear what you think about Vault redesigns and maybe some gameplay mechanics, like how radiation poisoning works in the Classics/Fallout 3 & New Vegas/Fallout 4 & 76.
Fo4s Assault Rifle is so funny looking, is like a whole ass submarine made into a gun
The fallout 4 assault rifle looks like a freaking grenade launcher
The bottle is literally the best redesign in fallout 4, now it isn’t just literally Coke
The glowing bulb looking thingies in the radio and pipboy are vacuum tubes
Also the fallout 4 nuka bottles definitely fit the exaggerated nuclear-punk style
Pimp boy will always be my favorite. So difficult to get in the game that's why I enjoy going on the little quest to get it. I remember writing down the instructions from Wikipedia. On paper at my school before going to playing it. And then realizing the Wikipedia is wrong and then trying to figure out another way.
For those wondering how to obtain Quantum in New Vegas, it has the chance to spawn in only one location in the lonesome road dlc found in a shipping crate.
I seem to remember finding it all the time
I had a comment prepared, and then you mentioned the 3 Billion. All is right in the world.
I completely disagree on the Alien Blaster. I really dislike the copper color in FO4 and think the New Vegas/F03 has the best color. All of their designs are okay but the color matters most to me.
5:32 that's a very interesting pic to reference fallout 3 with lmao
I literally typed in something like "old Fallout 3 mods" and found whatever that was fr
You just earned yourself a sub mr. Snowy city keep up the good fight
thank ya!
I was with you for so long and I agreed with so much, but the Nuka-Cola of Fallout 4 is UNMATCHED!
There’s a mod out there called “tactical tablet” basically think of a military version of today’s tablets but as a pipboy.
Boo
@@snowycity still better then the pipboy in the game the mod is for (fallout 4)
The fallout 4 assault rifle looks like if someone took a maxim gun and went, hmm let’s make an assault rifle version
Here I thought I was the only one collecting and occasionally chugging Purple Nuka-Cola Quantums.
We are a rare breed 😔
If I have to be frank, I think Fallout 4 has the best designs for living things/robots.
The people, creatures, and robots look more like they could actually exist rather than the clay creatures being resurrected in 3 and New Vegas. Humans especially in 3/NV just look kind of unerving imo.
Barring Super Mutants in 4 cause they do in fact look like if ass was an artstyle.
