    So, I placed an order for one just like this but in the Sting Grey color. I placed the order for it on 12/31/2021. I called my dealer today and it’s STILL in “D” status!! 3 months have gone by and it hasn’t even moved to “D1” status yet. I really can’t wait to get it, but this wait is ridiculous.

      Dude, your dealer likely sold it out from under you. I just bought one a month ago and it's been on the dealership lot a week now. Did you agree to pay MSRP or did you play hardball on price? Many dealers are getting over MSRP for new cars due to the supply shortage. My dealer in Columbus, GA sold me a vehicle that someone else ordered a few months prior. He said "It's been ordered by one of our customers but he ain't getting it". And his tone of voice was cocky like "F him!". So my interpretation is that the customer wasn't willing to give him MSRP and I was so I got the deal. Read the fine print on your deposit agreement. Mine said my deposit was non-refundable and the dealer had the option to break the agreement and still not refund me if he provided an "alternative vehicle with similar equipment". It's a dog-eat-dog market right now and the dealer has the upper hand.

      @@naamangeist7843 I guess anything is possible, but he gave me a VIN number and I’m checking status and it is as he said it is. Not built yet. I agreed to $2500 over MSRP because he was the least expensive dealer in my area. Other dealers wanted $5, $10, $15, or $20K over MSRP. I was not willing to do that. Truth be told, even MSRP annoys me, but it is what it is. $2500 over MSRP isn’t terrible, and pretty soon they won’t be making the 392 anymore, so it’ll be worth a lot more than MSRP. Let’s see what happens.

      @@naamangeist7843 that’s why I paid my deposit with an American Express. They’ll get your money back.

    The base price of the window sticker is way off. Was it manipulated? Or it is because it is for Canada?

    • @EverythingCarReviews
      @EverythingCarReviews  2 роки тому +1

      The base price is before adding on the optional equipment but this is in Canada.

      Canadian dollar but still $3,355 USD over the base MSRP I paid a month ago for mine. $101,145 CAD = 80,450 USD. My base price MSRP was $77,095 USD

      I'm guessing since are easy to modify and people want to replace the bumpers.

    Too many references to 392. You only have to say it once dude. And 35's aren't massive.

      In regards to 35 inch tires, I would say that they are pretty big for trucks being used on the road for 99.99% of the time. I have had Toyota Hilux's and Isuzu Dmax Arctic Trucks in both AT35/AT37. 37 inch looks cooler but 35 inch is better to drive, is my opinion. Very cool Truck the Jeep Rubicon 392 Xtreme Recon. Is it any known faults on these beasts? It is one for sale not far from where I live. Its a 2021 model in a beautiful Grey color. Mileage is 8900 km. Sticker price is 1.8 million Nok(equivalent to $180 000!! Welcome to Norwegian car prices😲😲😅 cheers from me in Norway.
