Dear Sir....I am having pattelofemoral pain to the medial side of under the knee....does that mean my patella is being deviated medially and does it need to pull laterally by K tape? Plz reply
Cause I put tape around my knee cap and the top part the tape’s around I do one around the thigh and another around apart of my calf as the muscle in my thigh are extremely weak so when I run my knee cap shifts which hurts a lot and haven’t able run as a year ago when my knee locked I had a trap nerve since then my knee comes abit out of place when it locks but goes back in when it locked after it did a spasm and discovered I have osmogallazise or something like that and patella femur pain disease and they recommend the sports tape to try and stabilise my knee cap so I can jog abit again but it’s been getting worse
Should I tape my knee a different way so I can be in abit more comfort and be able to jog again to try and help strengthen it with phsio as it’s been hell lately cause of these
If the pain is located on the inter border of the knee cap, would you still pull the patella medially with the tape? Or laterally?
Yes, still pull the tape medially. You should notice a significant reduction in your pain right away.

Sounds like it! I would definitely try the k taping
@@youfixpain but which way I should pull the patella? Should I pull it laterally as my pain is in the medial side under the kneecap?
