to many practice of concentration implies a self which concentrates, an observer who observes. practicing by this implication can get in the way of some major insights, stalling their arising at the very least.
the "do nothing" practice may facilitate an understanding that all phenomena which arises is already "observed" by itself, there's no need for an extra layer of self-which-strains. this in turn allows for experience as direct as possible, potentially leading to renunciation of arisen all the way into nirvana.
overall a very profound practice but I recommend anyone to study and comprehend it on their own without any blind beliefs.
question, through what experiences the author got acquainted with the practice described in this video?

I practice sometimes guided meditations from UA-cam and my purpose is to have a day nap , i breath deeply following all of what guided voice says and after 30 minutes i find that my mind and body starts to relqx ease and let go , from overthinking mind switch to pause mode of subcouncsious with so little uncontroled thoughts , even sometimes i hear myself snoring but i cant go more than this level 1 of sleep, i cant fall to unconscouis state of nap sleep with these practice . I feel very light mind relaxed and beneficial after these meditations but simply not what i want and thats a nap
I dont know What i do wrong ?
    Is There any trick ?

Thanks for the video. Sadhguru initiates people into a practice called Shoonya, which is essentially this. There is a personal mantra and beginning technique to help the mind center itself, which is useful. This meditation technique has made a big difference in my life. One other thing - Sadhguru says it is dangerous to practice this "void" meditation for longer than 12-18 minutes at a time, due to the effect that it has on the nervous system. He tells a story of a person who badly damaged his energy system by practicing this technique for 2 hours at a time, to the point he became suicidal. I highly recommend everyone to follow Sadhguru if you are not already.
