I was thinking that, and chuckled then came into the comments hoping I was right lmao. I am getting this as my first drumset on Wednesday and super excited
@@virtual-screens4251 hey man how have you been liking it? From the time im commenting it says ur comment is 6 days old so i assume you have received it and have been playing it. Any notable downsides you’ve noticed? Also is it really straightforward in the sense that i can turn on my own music and play at the same time, so i can hear my song and drums all at the same time
The nitro module has an aux input port so if you have a device you can get a headphone plug on', just connect that up to the aux input and both your music and the drum sounds will come through. Alesis did just release the new Nitro Max kit which has a redesigned module that includes bluetooth along with some other upgrades so you can bypass the need for a cable to stream music on the newer kit.
The MOD is great, you can use a kick pedal and add a cymbal and TOM,i got the Turbo and was so disappointed, so i bought 3 brand new MK2 pro 12 inch toms and 3 10 inch, and an 8-inch beater pad and double bass, and added better cymbal and bought the Strike amp, plus a few real China cymbals...this is the same as the Surge mod which i just ordered ..ha i bought the same pro mark sticks
Nice! Yeah, so far so good! Not that my family needed anything too high end, but this is just so much better than the first one we picked up. Absolutely worth an extra $100 for the upgrade!
@@windproductreviews I should have gotten the Nitro first,i had the money(this kit cost me over 3k so far, each brand new 12 inch was 280 and the 10 inch 189)...but without a real kick pedal and the bad plastic rims, I was really pissed..I should have returned it, but if I would have gotten 8-inch pads with rubber rims that were dual-zone...I might have only added some bigger pads..the only good news is they pretty much sent me 80 % of the kit without having to return anything..so I have 2 mods and new pads and cymbals...so ill have my friend make the 4 8 inch pads into roto toms and use 2 mods...I haven't played since 2006 and I wanted a kit like the one I called Joshua because I built it to play Joshua Tree...plus i have FLS 20.9..and was going to use Steven Slate Drums 5.5,but the mapping with the Turbo didn't work, The Nitro Mod is a good one...same as the Surge
I cant use the 8-inch mesh bass drum kick and the double bass pedals because the Turbo kit won't read that kind of trigger?it reads a normal pad? so if i plug in a tom it works..idk...Surge in mail..
did you get it from sweetwater..anyways it has a 2-year warranty and they don't ask for the parts back, so like I said I had a bad mod but they sent me all new cymbals and pads with it,and 2 trigger pedals..a whole new set without the rack
Small correction - cymbal with choke is not the Hi-Hat. Its a crash with choke function. I believe the Hi-Hat is labelled as Hi-Hat.

I just bought the newer version of this that recently came out. I've had a lot of fun playing mine so far.
The best drum review I've, seen in my whole entire life ❤
I bought one but the sound of my kick drum is terrible in the headphones, I can't even hear it! did you manage to configure it somehow in the module?
Nice looking drumsticks. Need to get you a set of "Promark Activegrip" drumsticks. They're AWSOME. Only $9.00, for sale on Amazon.
I'll check them out, thanks!
Can you put the alesis strike multipad?

Can you play like Alex Van Halen too?
Can someone assist me with an Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit, please? Even if it's a used one. I really need one for music band in Nigeria.
Nice review! How's the kit holding up? Hopefully better than the one you returned!

You should have bought the Simmons Titan 50 the Alesis nitro mesh kit sounds like cheap keyboard drums. I have both and my titan sounds way better.
