3:54. Seems to be another cop drunk on the power they wield over citizens, nothing special.
The guy didn't even go to the third lane, doesn't look like he is even trying to. The cop was speeding without any signs of being on an emergency response, he just overreacted to the lane change that doesn't even involve him. If the third lane isn't an actual lane, then the cop shouldn't have been speeding on it. However, that cop can nail the guy for speeding if that road is a 50, even tho everyone is above that speed including that cop according to the dashcam.
Maybe they were already following him for a while
@@DogsSnipes I don't think so.... the video is over a min long and nothing happened beforehand plus if the cop was looking for him he probably would have his lights on earlier! Thanks for watching

As a Vancouverite I can confirm. We have some of the worst drivers I've ever seen. Also the roads are woefully inadequate and make no sense at all.

Your car has a reverse. I would take it as a chance to practice driving in reverse. I happen to think I would nail it. I would just blend into traffic I'd be so smooth.
It's probably a really bad idea to match the speed of traffic in reverse... but call it as you see it.
Yeah you would just drive backwards and then drift 180 without losing speed then speeding off like a boss

I find several issues with the ignorant bad drivers: signalling as they change lanes or not signalling at all, the insulting Asian wave when a driver cuts you off, drivers that put their signals to change lanes and feel that once they signal you must stop and let them in, so many red light runners and 5he worst is the police do not care about traffic violations.

I HAVE a video on my phone of an UNDERCOVER cop who was going very fast in the left lane, and then there was a construction zone and some traffic stuck and a driver went to make a left lane change. just lane change and then the COPs flying with NO LIGHTS on had yet STILL ENOUGH time to slam the brakes and make the stop to let the driver make the left turn... THEN TURNED ON HIS lights and pulled over that same driver IMMEDIATLEY and CALLED FOR BACK UP... so I went and filmed and stated that THE COPS WERE THE ONES flying VERY FAST through a busy construction intersection with no lights and heavy traffic... then very quickly the TRAFFIC stop was ENDED and the police waved and wished me a good day. BUT the DRIVER said thank you for helping!
regarding your puzzle of how people can just obliviously drive against traffic... the old joke about the woman who hears the radio news about a driver driving the wrong way on the freeway, and knows her husband is driving on that stretch. She calls him to warn him that there is a driver driving the wrong way near him. He replies "there is not just one, there is hundreds of them!"
4:50 I witnessed a crash like that but I end up give the video to the victim the crazy part was I just got back to the car relaxing until my dad finish with his doctor appointment but when I got back to the car I knew I have to leave the dash cam recording 5 to 10 minute into the recording bam the crash happen. something similar happen to me but no crash or fender bender the guy just turn so early I don’t know why.

Too many drivers who don't give a Damm by running stop signs, running red lights, doing illegal u turns. Even when they're in the wrong they still give the finger thinking they're right so nowadays, I just ram them. Only way they'll learn because honking at them does not get to their head. Dash cam check, big vehicle check. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

wrong way drivers are usually drunk drivers or people who are hundreds of years old and should no longer be driving
Technically that person initiated a lane change at the same time as finally turning on the blinker, so not enough notification time for an adjacent lane occupant, but also that cop was speeding, passing on the right(lol), changing lanes, without turn signals or emergency sirens or lights. So icbc would happily say both parties are in the wrong and raise the entire provinces rates to recover the cost of writing off a 2030 Tesla that got a big splatter on the left side headlight housing
You know you've got trouble in your future when the 1st 2 video's are your neighbouhood :o

What I find most iritating is that in the UK a cyclist can report a driver to the local police with video evidence. Likewise a car driver can do the same for any perceived offenses. Here in BC the police are not interested in offences unless there is major injury or liability
it’s legal to make a u turn in bc at an intersection as long as it’s lawful to enter the intersection, there is no sign indicating no u turns, or if it’s infront on a railway or bridge. hope it helps !
The people who honk at me because I refuse to turn left on a yellow if I am behind the line....Not worth it.
I wish I had a dashcam yesterday when I passed a pickup carrying a load of BEARS! All different sizes and colours of chainsaw carved bears- it was awesome :)

If U-Turns are illegal at controlled intersections, then why does the vehicle's GPS suggest making one when during some destinations?
The one switching lanes from the left turn beside the cop, they were probably not where they wanted to be and realized it after and at least was signaling out , but i mean maybe make the left turn and circle back just to be safe. The one switching lanes idk wtf that was, maybe the cop pulled them to remind them to be a little careful next time? But most likely not, kinda sus on that

5:35 Actually, turns in TRAFFIC LIGHT controlled intersection are illegal (unless there's a sign posting otherwise).

04:10 again you condemn the turner. It's completely the guy running the late, late yellow's fault. You have no choice but to turn late if youre in the intersection.
2:28 car that spins is a F80 BMW M3 this car is notorious for breaking traction just at random. My guess is the driver floored it had traction then shifted into second gear and lost it.

I have a question, how many mistake per month is allowed and I won't be called a stupid a$$ driver in Vancouver? 😅 The other day, at NorthVan and at the Lonsdale avenue, google showed me to take a left to get into the TransCanada highway, i did just to find out i almost was about to enter into the wrong way! For a moment my heart stopped 😅 i quickly made a u turn luckily it was 3 in the morning and the road was almost empty except an SUV and a bus! I'm waiting to see that video of making a fool out of myself here actually😂😂😂 (if i did get caught)

The cop at 3:50 should lose their job. The car was excessively speeding (looks like it was going at 80 ish on a 50 limit road), given that they didn't turn on their lights and they had time to stop someone for changing lanes clearly they had no reason to go that fast. Law enforcement doesn't get a free pass on the law unless whatever they are doing is necessary. They were speeding and was passing on the right, which is dangerous. If anything they should give a ticket to themselves.

Whats happening at 3:01 is just normal poco things. Thats down by kingsway ave, that entire area is a bit of a mess if you miss a turnoff, so people make dumb moves like this all the time (as of when i lived there )

The cop you asked about... here is the thing, the driver nearly swerved into the far lane. He/she was not in control. While maybe a ticket is not warranted, but certainly a pull over an a talking too. So I don't think the officer was being too zealous.
