Hint to anyone with a small engine, always shut off the fuel valve and let it run out so the carb is empty, then the remaining fuel is not in there to dry up and plug up the jets...

this is an old vid but, i love this shit. i got my first mini on long island in the 60s. kids were building skateboards from roller skates and milk crates, the sting ray just came out and my old man came home with a rupp mini bike out of the blue, , about '67. he said years later he did it to keep me off the corner with the rowdys. out in the woods was where the rowdies were pops. im 68 and getting ready to get another mini.
Me and my friend raced the Baja Warrior 200 vs my 2008 Kawasaki Klx 140... I was surprised. It held up till my bike it 2nd gear. Great bike and sound awesome...
THIS IS NOT HYDRAULIC FRONT SUSPENSION. It has springs only but it works just fine. It's 6.5 HP not 6. If you want a much better mini bike the trailmaster MB200-2 has a torque converter not just a chain like this model. It has front and rear suspension and disc brakes and goes much faster all for about 200 USD more.
I'm currently building a bike similar to this! I bought one for a good deal and should not have sold it, I found it drove really nice with no shock for suspension on the back! It was like floating on air because most of the impact was absorbed threw the front forks! I purposely went without because these bikes are not the same as the thin tire dirt bikes where you really wouldn't want to go without, and they have a longer rear arm so the ride quality would be off without a shock! And those foot pegs! Amazing!!!!! I hear ya on the gas cap, except they are home made bikes! It's kind of cool when you find out how thier built! I just seen this video again, and noticed the rear fender isn't even properly situated on the bike! Looks odd
I have a suggestion or two for you. As far as the fake tank and gassing you can drill a hole with a door knob bit in the storage above the gas tank filler and get felcro and make a flap to pull open fill the gas close the flap and keep your tool box clean. Next to drain the oil next time thread in a short tube with a good liquid thread sealer then put a bolt in and you will pass the engine mount or do what Generator makers do and install a tube you can snap up when done with a plug in the end they both will work and look neat. Make sure when you thread into the oil drain with a tube only thread in until your at the end of the inside of block so there are no restrictions to oil drainage. I hope this helps and both work.
If you think about it it actually has three sprockets, one for the clutch, one for the clutch chain to go to, and one behind that one to allow the main chain to line up with the back sprocket.
I have purchased two of these bikes last year from coastal farm and ranch they are pretty fine.. But I found significant flaws in it and 1 of the factors is that my wife was riding down a hill when she applied the brake the The brake handle holding the brake line broke right off she had to lay the bike down in order to stop! The welds on the bike are Not good and I question the metal it was made with!!! I much prefer the bikes we have now which is a trail master MB200-2 Well worth the extra $350! A much more superior bike faster and better quality all the way around! Happy biking!!
THE DRAGON lol can wait to tell my friend that, he has this model, and says how cool it is but it is made much cheaper than my Baja 200 Warrior (I have had mine over 2 years and it has never broke. He has had his for much less and has broken it multiple times)

hey man hoping you can help me out. planning to get this for my wife who is timid on power. was wondering if this is snappy or very easy linear power? and is the power delivery really smooth or kind of "mind of its own" jumps ahead etc
It's pretty smooth with linear power. If you are at a stop and you open it up to full throttle you will not flip it or anything. Anyone can hope on and be comfortable within 10 minutes.
Transmission lol, torque converter or centrifugal clutch. The oil can be drained from a plug on the other side/back of the engine where there is a hole in the frame pan. Spark plug wrench not for "changing the tire".

You can modify that fairly simple. I watched a guy modify his on his UA-cam channel.
