RetroBlasting Owes You An Apology!
Переглядів 1,4 тис.5 місяців тому
I am sorry to make a video with an overall negative tone but I feel that it is my responsibility to bring this issue to your attention. @RetroBlasting has not taken responsibility for his mistakes and seems incapable of admitting that he endorsed a scam product. The clips in this video were used under fair use and originate from these videos. Prototype Video: ua-cam.com/video/FZ5g5vfq808/v-deo....

Awesome want it for myself I have a few troopers from AliExpress too
@@theoctogamerofbattlefield Thanks for watching!
This video should come included with a adjustable safety belt for the impact of badassness😂❤
👍
Man!! Ruge collection. that's amazing! How many Troopers do you all have in your collection?
lol too many probably
Seeing this makes me miss my collection.
I ordered 2x phase 2 white clones from veilsToys on aliexpress. Very disappointed with them, smell like chemicals after 2 weeks of airing and don't even scale with the hasbro 2020 or 2023 body. It seems like there is the 2023 body knockoff but out ouf stock in the moment. This should scales with hasbro, but i cant recommended the old clone body from them.
Nice collection and to to see a fellow clone collector. Veils has many interesting clones to get nice to get certain clones that you don’t see at retail thanks to Hasbro and we will probably never see. I did get some clone when they was available. Managed to get the new Rex phase 1, and out his Kama and put his original head to complete the official look.
Thanks for watching! I think that Veils really does a great job of filling in the gaps in the line. The will never replace the official Hasbro figures but he does give us a way to collect more obscure clones. A kit bashed Captain Rex sounds cool!
Now that is an army!
@@Marquis_de_Nah thank you for watching!
This is what I want in life
same lol
I used to have this as a kid and I would play with it out in the snow. I freakin love it
So so iconic! Love it
Great collection!
@@66_ed_Hawkenson Thanks for watching!
Awsome collection🔥🔥 im sad that i don’t have those wolfapck clones (Comet, Boost and Sinker) they don’t sell them anymore
@vFuSiion I would continue to watch for a restock. Veils is remaking many of the early named characters on the 3.0 body. It wouldn't surprise me if they pop up again.
@@RygarTheDestroyer212 Hoping so 🤞🏻 can’t get enough of clones and how cool they look
@vFuSiion Same here I will never get tired of the Clones!
@@RygarTheDestroyer212 Wish they gave us new types of clones like the galactic marines and the 41st scouts, they have been on my wishlist forever
@vFuSiion Same! Especially since we have the Commanders for those battalions
People who venture out past black series to ali express clones and sh figuarts and customs have all my respect and more
People who make true customs are in a league of their own. They have way more skill and patience than me! All I do is swap heads around lol!
@RygarTheDestroyer212 regardless you make good content showing that there's a whole other world of star wars 1/12 figures out there, hats off to you
Amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching!
My 501st is in a similar state....cultured man alert
I have this figure and I love it. It's definitely one of my favorite
This is just epic man! Back in the 3.75 clone trooper troop building days, this is a common sight to see, but man, in TBS 6 inch, clone trooper troop building is such a delight to see. 🔥 🔥 🔥
@@kramnhoj42 Thanks for watching!
@RygarTheDestroyer212 your uploads are worth the wait to watch man!
Massive better than you attitude.
Thanks for the great review!
I just picked this up at a local collectors shop. It’s missing the landing gear and both outside torpedoes and one of the inside torpedoes. Any chance you know where I can find the missing pieces?
@THEOTHERGUY4421 Check ebay. Plenty of spare parts for all star wars vehicles new and old end up listed on there.
All the 2000s toys were first cheap.... today in 2024 it would all be wlel over $100, this gunship made today is an easy $160. Hasbro is out of control...
@jonc2914 Times certainly have changed. The price would likely be closer to $250 or more. The Toy's R US exclusive with the bubble turrets was released last, and it was $150. That was almost 10 years ago. That being said, I would love to see one of these re-release with a new deco. Maybe Coruscant Guard? Anyway thanks for watching :)
Well said and good on you for doing the video. A lot of other people have been saying the same. Count me as one too. Being called out for doing something wrong happens to us all. Personally I am glad when someone does this with me. As this is usually caused by stress and is able to sort out what has been happening. With this your one voice among a sea of support he has. So an apology is never coming forth. Also I think he did have a financial link. That with being a paying customer who paid up front and in full. So until the product was delivered. He had the right to updates or even demand information. And from what I see he didn't. With him given Conrad a pretty easy run. While with Chris Krahn of The Fans Strike Back. It is a completely different situation. I have lost count of the amount of videos. So great video and thank you for reading this comment.
Tip for anyone not wanting to buy a ridiculous expensive wire cutter. Buy some single wire and stick those in between to AA batteries. Insulate the places you need to hold on to. Make a pattern out of cardboard to use as a jig.
Whats the price on them
If you still have this one how's it holding out 10 years in?
pretty much the same as when it was new
Just picked this guy up 12 years later🤣 Too iconic not to have. they dont make em like they used to i hope hot toys continues the militaries of star wars figures. Good review
How much are these? I found one on a dump site today
@zataniika6840 They were 25 new. Now there like 40-60 secondary market
I love this figure. I find that the ROTS figure of Anakin that doesn’t have a weird slash or Vader helmet gimmick is so rare
❤❤❤❤
I made one too i wish you could see it
I just found one in a thifstore, bought it for reselling but as you said is pretty realistic so I guess is a keeper.
I’m gonna buy this denal but new it’s like 70 bucks but used it’s like 25 so is it worth getting new or just get him used
Very cool armor, makes them look like space samurai.
I've been trying to find an answer to what might have clipped on the rear where there is an obvious attachment point. After watching this, I'm assuming that the rear lower cannon would have mounted there.
Disney's in charge of Star Wars now, Captain Fordo is considered part of the original expanded universe so they probably don't give a damn enough to even do it since they all they wanna do is create new stories 😵💫😵💫🤢🤮🤮🤮
Excellent video brother,love those ship.
Have there been any new versions? 2024 now it’s been a while !!!
@DavidLamison No new releases at this time unfortunately
@@RygarTheDestroyer212 damn! I’m ready for a modern remastered version of the tiger shark one. Just recently rewatched the 2D clone wars series and MAN.
Congrats, you lost yourself a subscriber. I hate this drama BS .
It’s missing accuracy with the blaster pistols being bigger like in the show
The legs on my tridroid are warped and won't stand up straight.
Michael is an insufferable prick
He's a miserable gatekeeper, and his "the fans are doing the best work" schtick has cost a fair chunk of change on junk that won't ever arrive. If he "endorses" something, stand well back........
Thank you for the review
What oil did you use for the shaft?
Just hope that you don’t get a copyright strike from him
I hope not! I will say that the clips used in this video are transformative in nature and do work as a substitution for the original work. Therefore it falls under the umbrella of fair use. Thanks for watching :)
Used to love his channel. Happened to comment there not long ago. I mentioned how I used to enjoy it when all his videos weren't just him being miserable. He and a couple of his fans blew up on me. He instantly threatened to ban me. Seems like he got bullied pretty bad at some point in his life. Bummer.
I bet that Michael's army of lapdogs are going to rage at the comment section any minute now.
@benjerison7074 It's already happening unfortunately
At 2:53 into your video you state that Michael French/Retroblasting "endorsed" the kickstarter. Yet at 3:17 you state that he bought the kit in an offering after the kickstarter had funded. In less than a half of a minute you contradict yourself. If I understand correctly, that would mean the kickstarter was successfully funded, and Mars INC was offering preorders after the kickstarter. If this is true, there is a big difference in expectations between an active kickstarter project and a preorder. Misleading people about said expectations for any preorders is solely the responsibility of Mars Inc. Choosing to fund a kickstarter is always a risk at best. Offering a preorder implies production is ready to go ahead and a safer bet to customers. There is a big difference between the two. You imply RT tried to influence viewers into participating in the Kickstarter, yet you downplay that RT stated he bought into the preorder only. That is misleading. At 9:48 you say you have no idea who RT describes as the "Canadian Warrior Poet". Then the 11:00 mark you admit you watched a re-upload of said Canadian Warrior Poet's video. You honestley can not figure out who CWP is? Really? Why is that? The reason why RT mentions CWP is to show the bias of critics of RT. Critics of RT demand that RT take responsibility for people being empty handed after choosing to give Mars Inc money. Yet CWP can also profile the Airwolf kit but is immune from any responsibility by the critics of RT. Plus he didn't even buy ino it . And you failed to mention why you had to watch a re-upload of CWP's video. He took it down after it was clear Mars Inc was never going to fulfill the orders of the Airwolf kit. RT has been transparent. CWP has been hiding his tracks. There is a clear difference between the two. Yet you only demand an apology only from RT. Why?
@trentrolfingsmeier Hello thank you for leaving your concerns and questions in the comments section. When I say that RB endorsed the product I do not mean that he was paid to say nice things. I genuinely believe he thought that the product was nice and the final would turn out well. He did however endorse the product by giving the prototype a positive review and posting a video about it on his channel. He is a respected toy reviewer and his opinion carries a lot of weight within his community. So when a product does not hold up to expectations it reflects poorly on him even if his is not tied directly to the company. The re-upload of CWPs video also uses the nick name. I have the link to that video in the description if you would like to watch. This man may own his audience and apology too which I covered in the video. This is a straw man argument by RB which is why I brought it up in the video. Hopefully this answers your questions and I wish you the best :)
I used to watch retroblasting but got tired of michaels negativity. I endure for a while because sometimes he does make fun entertaining videos, but I stopped when he started attacking other youtubers, and i couldnt take it anymore because i knew half the things he said were not true. (He still owes an apology to @spectorcreative1872 ) Took me a while but I realize retroblasting is a snob channel, they likes custom made toys (A good example is stan solo and his horrible overpriced kenner look alikes toys that look like they belong in a bargain bin) and he dispises mass produced ones (Such as hasbro, neca and others). While i wont waste my time defending companies i jsut have better thingd to do that see someone with so much privilege that he complaints about hobby you are suppose to enjoy (, if you dont like it why even bother? )
