Hey bro I just got a brand new 97cc doodle bug motor and I’m randomly having a fuel issue it leaks bad pretty bad is that normal for these motors ? It makes no sense it happened so randomly I don’t see why it should be leaking gas everything is new only thing I can think of is the gaskets behind the carb are some how messed up but idk I checked the bolt holding the bowl on the carb and that’s tight and the fuel hose on the carb seems fine idk what it is
I just bought a used Doodlebug DB30 replaced the clutch and tuned it up. And we just did the speed test last night with my son about 90lbs it went 33mph and with myself 170lbs i hit 29mph. So 30's are possible.

I did this when I had the original motor too! Just started rebuilding mine, going to upgrade to a 6.5hp motor - uploaded my first rebuild video today
that screw is called the governer and its made to be adjusted.
Actually the govener is inside the engine. That “screw” is the throttle limiter.
Just did that to my governer makes a difference

Mine goes 25 mph without the screw on there
Bypass the govenor for an extra few mph, way more response time and more

It will throw you off the back....it has a lot of power it's not just the power it's where the bike is so light. like maybe 65 pounds

I stripped all the paint on mine I just got it painted black today
mine all in not restricted got 28mph
I definitely dont go twice the speed of nearly as fast as 30 mph it might go 22 or 23 that's tops

What modifications were needed for the predator swap
