Love it! BP was 182/120! Now after a week of 5mg, 129/96!! No symptoms. I also completely cut out 😃
I don’t want to know how to take it. I want to know how to get off of it.

Excellent video. Feel very reassured. Thank you.
I like to walk up a hill most days. After a week on Amlodipine, i felt like I was carrying sandbags in my legs. Then felt more heaviness, fatigue. Barely got up stairs. Stopped it and recovered completely in about 2 weeks.

Good job doctor because I'm also a victim of Hbp

Thank you Dr for the fine explanation of amlodipine..what I like to know is ,how do I discontinue this product when my readings become normal Thank you, waiting for your reply ❤
Well said sir thank you
Question I get some of these side effects once in a while, what type of job you consider safe for someone under this medication.
Gracias 😊 😊❤ very interesting 🤔

Thank u for this video
Start this medication 2 days ago. Difficult breathing, swelling other feet dizzy but the breathing really scares me
Constipation? I stopped taking this med for 2 years, and I no longer suffer from chronic constipation. But of course, my blood pressure is not being controlled anymore, but I'm not dead yet.
Sorry to hear this. Please consult with your doctor.
@JHPMedicalUK Yes, I will. This med is a calcium channel blocker, and the first side effects listed is constipation. If I've known that I would not have stayed on the medication for the few years I've been on it. As gut health means everything to me without it, your whole system is thrown off as it affects every organ in your body.
Thank you doctor,as a regular amlodipine user, your video is very helpful. 👍👍👍👍
what about the side effects not in the leaflet like may affect the eyes?
Thank you

It works for me im on10 mg
I took 10mg for about 7 months and now been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. Have to walk with a cane. Saw a pain management doc and he wants to put in an electrical system to run down my legs and feet.
I had a very bad reaction to this medication.
I showed virtually every side effect listed and thought my days were numbered.
I stopped taking them and in three days felt human again.
I have now been prescribed a different family of tablets and have no side effects.
Nebil vs norvasc which is better ?
I love the alcohol part 😊👍
cool
Thanks for watching
I stopped and recovered completely with neuropathy
For that I will subscribe to your channel 😊💪
Can I take it with oth blood pressue
I felt fine until i was prescribed this around 10month ago. Now my BP went up from 80 to 90. And i get a strange uncomfortable feeling around my heart for a few seconds nearly every other day. Very worried.
Sorry to hear this. Please consult with your doctor.
It controlled my B/P and I felt great . But every B/P med i have been put on caused a nasty , thick 24 hr a day cough. It was awful to get rid of . It’s about the breakdown of cytokines at the lung barrier. I had to stop it.
Hi i am taking amlodipine 10mg and indapamide 1.5mg together and im starting to feel very fatigued should i go back to the gp thanks

What makes you say that. Have you had a bad experience ? I am on these and feel worse. Feeling tired, heart palpitations, a bit of dizziness. I hate taking tablets.
I happen to agree with you.
It has statin mixed in it also!
No, Amlodipine doesn't contain a statin.

@@lyns2686 you have to take UA-cam commenters with a large dose of salt. I see some of the stupidest things being said on here.
@desertodavid Thank you for the reminder. I do know that, but sometimes forget. Luckily I've had no issues with it and as soon as I move at the end of the month, and get away from the horrible neighbors under me that have caused me immense stress everyday, I'll go back to normal, as will my BP.
@@lyns2686 I wish you well.🙏
I had some neighbors causing me stress with their constant Boom Boom Boom music. You know the type! What I finally had to learn was to just try to ignore it as there was really nothing I could do about it which wouldn't make my blood pressure go even higher. no

Just stopped taking it as all i get is tiredness and pains so hey ho bring on the heart attack ,at least i wont have to worry about this crazy world
Does doc have a Geordie accent?
Nope sorry
Does it cause dehydration on tongue?
I think it does make your mouth dry. I find it especially at night. Plenty of waking up having some water then off to the bathroom. This repeats so not very restful nights for me. It has this downside possibly but not everyone the same.
How many hours after first dose we should take second dose ???
I mean gap should be how many hours after taking first dose ??
Daily dosage should be on exact time or if it’s a gap of less hours or more then what ??

if0my bp is back to 120/80,can i stop this med
Speak to your general practitioner first. Stopping BP medication could result in your BP being high again. It's the medication that's keeping your BP at a normal level.
Correct, don't stop without advice of your doctor.
