This video is for all the guys out there who are feeling all kinds of negative emotions because they are struggling to deal with the reality of going bald. Alister wanted to share is journey in full especially to help out the younger generation but this video aims to inspire all.
All journeys are different but most of you watching this are doing to because you are balding or going bald in some way. Please know that you are not alone in dealing with this. Do what you need to navigate your journey but please know that at the end there is always a very real possibility for full acceptance of the situation, acceptance of yourself, happiness in how you look and feel. Its not easy but it can be done and this video is a real example of that.

@@Baldcafe you are the absolute best. This channel is what so many men need. I just turned 43 a month ago. I started noticing that I was losing my hair just before my 23rd birthday. So 20 years ago. And I noticed it really early. My initial reaction was exactly like yours. I was devastated. I thought I would be unattractive and I wouldn’t be able to find a girl and all that. It was at the point where I could notice what was going to happen and nobody else could. So a few months went by and I went on Propecia. And it worked! I kept my hair for many years. Got haircuts and everything. But that drug is dangerous. I started noticing sexual side effects that were not good. So I stopped it about 6 years ago and started minoxidil and that worked too. I maintained the hair that I gained with Propecia. As of this past October it still appeared that I had a full head of hair. I was wearing the waves hairstyle and I now realize that was covering up what was really going on. Throughout these past few years I’ve been watching your channel even though I was maintaining my hair with minoxidil and I realized that I would be alright if I lost my hair. My confidence rose. So 3 months ago when I got my haircut and came home and saw the frontal thinning( it was happening fast!), I accepted it finally. I was calm. There was no going back. I bought a OmniShaver and shaved it off. I felt relief. No more hiding. No more running to the bathroom to fix the spots that I felt people were looking at. Then I went to work and surprisingly I got so many compliments. A couple of women even through out the word handsome! I thank you for what you’re doing to instill confidence in balding men. It’s not that bad at all. You’re showing the world that and without your channel I wouldn’t have realized it. I’m a new subscriber. Cheers mate!

It always comes down to this---- Bald guy rocking a shaved/buzzed head is a million times better than poor guy suffering with balding and trying desperately to hide it and hold onto it....

This channel is about embracing being bald and learning to deal with it and it helps a lot. I just find it really sad that youtube's targetted ads algorithm means all the ads are for expensive cosmetic procedures and transplants marketed as solutions for hair loss. Really sad, its financially preying on people who are coming here for comfort
Great guy, literally looks ten times better than before. Takes a lot of courage to do that at such a young age. Mad how much it affects peoples lives so many missed opportunities!
And if you ask bald guys after getting used to it most of them don't miss their hair one bit and wished they'd done it ages ago.

Shaved my head at 21 and i am now 53. I never tried to hide it, but had all the insecurities like most balding young men. But must admit it was the best thing i ever did at 21 and it will enrich your life,and give you more time to get on with life which is short and very precious. And by the way you look so much better.
19 yrs old also suffering from thinning for 3 years now and decided to take the big leap and buzz it off and I'm kinda happy about it, and I will rock this look from now on.

I just turned 21 and my hair situation was just like yours, and I say was because right after watching your video I decided to shave it all off. Being able to go through with a decision like this for anyone is difficult but it is especially hard when you haven’t even made it to your mid twenties. I just wanted to say your story definitely helped me out, and I hope others are able to grow and learn from your experience as I did.
I’m 22 now, started thinning out at 17. I took the leap two years ago and honestly I wish I did it sooner!

I’ve taken the opposite approach and gotten a transplant and take medication, but I still love watching these videos. I admire these people and enjoy watching their transformations. you only have one life; it’s too short to be worrying about the way you look, whether that means you shave it or save it.
Same here mate. I got a hair transplant 4 months back. I've got my hairline and confidence back. When youre at the toxic combover stage there's only two solutions - transplant or shave it all off.

23 here, hair thinning, hairline receding and 2 days a go i said fuck it and buzzed it all. Always had medium-long hair and was super stressed about it. Watched this channel a lot and it encouraged and motivated me to just go for it. So I did it and it’s incredible. Thank you for the encouragement and comfort! Now I can look badass af haha

Listening to this young man makes me wish a channel like this was around when I was going through the same thing. In my opinion, earlier invention (mentally speaking), seems important, as it becomes harder to lift yourself from the feelings of worthlessness associated with balding, the longer you suffer in silence. My hairline was receding when I was a teenager and starting bald when I was 23. I'm very insecure about this. I was 20's. Not 50's or 60's. I feel this world ends for me. Watching this channel makes me want to shave my head. I'm just afraid if I look good with it.

Reminds me of me when i was in my late 20s you can see my scalp that would be around 26 around 27 silly enough Harry i did Rogaine foam when i was 22 years old and stopped using the product in 2014 thank you for your Channel Harry you help so many Men who are losing confidants of their male pattern baldness.
This guy was on all the treatment from 15 and still he lost all his hair. Pretty sad because you can’t even say he started it late
He mentioned that he used that spray to fill in hair. Im wondering if the spray caused damage to the follicles where it just could not regrow hair.

Just buzzed my receding hair for the first time(22 years old). Gonna try to grow an “okay” beard and see how it goes. Remember,hair or not, it’s the character that matters.

This is the problem I have with hair treatments or even a hair transplant. They worst thing about losing your hair is the mental anxiety it causes, but those problems will often still remain with treatments. I've seen videos of guys soon after a transplant worrying that its miniaturizing (and it might be!).
It is one of the issues certainly. The “treatments” often just keep you preoccupied with it all, especially when it’s viewed as an appearance problem instead of a body image problem. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on this topic. Really interesting
