It's hard to put into words but the worry, insecurity, the thoughts of transplants, fibres and drugs are GONE.

Just shave it off. It just makes you feel better, both physically and mentally. If your friends throw shade on you then they’re not your friends. It bothers me to read about people hating themselves. That hate has nothing to do with your hair. It comes from a deep, dark, sad place inside you. Don’t ever let yourself think that. You’re a lot more than you think you are. Yep, that was me. I was the one staring at pictures of Bruce Willis, The Rock, and Jason Statham, and trying to compare myself to them. Do I have the right head shape like they do? Do I have the right body? We always compare ourselves to others, but at the end of the day, other people aren't going to look at you and compare you to movie stars. They're going to see you as you, and no one else. So be your best self, regardless of what is or isn't growing on top of your head, and it will work.

@@TheJakeMarc you can't just make yourself grow your hair back. I hated my thinning hair and sure I could brush it in a way you couldn't tell but if it got wet I couldn't hide it. Life's too short to stay away from pools and the beach because you hate the way your hair looks. I shaved my head and I'm much happier than I was.

I was 21 years old when I shaved my head last year. The hair thinning was making me feel so low and less confident. I had amazing dense hair in the past, but eventually had hair so less that was so shocked to witness it. Planned on getting a hair transplant or getting hair weaving or even wearing a wig for that sense. Also spent loads of money on doctors who gave me hope of my hair growing back. I took the step and walked to my barber and asked him to shave off my head completely, he asked me several questions, which made we wonder if I chose the correct thing to do. After it was clean shaved along with the trimmed beard, it was one of the best looks I ever had. The people who used to comment started appreciating and I felt more confident than ever.
Also I received more positive feedback from others and keeping it clean ever since, ain't going back! :)

My only thing is if ur happy ur happy. If u want to reserve hair for a couple years then DO IT. Ur young u want couple more years of hair do the transplant or whatever. But Shaving ur head is AWESOME u can do it whenever lol good luck fellas
One thing that made me hesitant about shaving my head was the huge circular scar I had on the right side of my head from brain tumor surgery...for years my hair was thick and covered it...this past year I was diagnosed with sever depression and anxiety and chronic stress do to personal loss and battles...my hair started falling out like dead leaves from a tree...even though I still had hair on top and around the sides and back it was to thin to do anything with...I first got a short crew cut...then weeks later went into the bathroom and with the help of hairclippers and Baldcafe...buzzed it all off...and the scar is know a conversation piece...a symbol of survival...makes my head less symmetrical but I call it character...I may even get a tattoo of a zipper on it with an "pull here" tag lol

I shave my head off 2 weeks ago thanks to Harry's channel, which spurred me on to take this huge leap. I had many fears and I was hiding my spots with fibers. Straight after shaving it I still had fears what would my friends and family say, but after these couple of weeks I think there's absolutely no way for me to go back and I genuinely do feel much better now.
Any update? Did people get used to it? I already know the answer is probably yes, but I'm just curious how things are going for ya man. I'm trying to make the move and finally do it.
@@hobosnake1 hello mate, definitely yes, there was and still is some bewilderment by some, especially the oldest generation and the very traditional people, but overall there was acceptance and some others, especially the young, complimented me on the move and prefer me this way. For me this is just the new normality and I feel great, especially for not being a slave of the dirty fibres.
All I can say if you feel uncomfortable showing off some bald spots or trying to hide them, just do it and you'll feel much better.

Supportive wifies/gfs are great when you’re battling it. My ex and I didn’t work out but at the time we were dating she told me she didn’t care whether I had hair or not and straight up shaved my head slaphead bald with me. I ended up growing it back out because I found some medication that worked temporarily to grow it back but it’s starting to thin again. Feeling a lot more confident when it will be my time.

People who are still worried. I started losing my hair between the ages of 18 and 20. I started growing a beard and shaving my head. I changed my style from a sugary boy with bangs and painted nails to a brutal man. I'm 30 now. Never regretted it. Now people are letting me through. The guy behind the counter nods respectfully. I take a glass of cold beer in my strong hand. But they don't know that, inside, I'm still a sweet boy. A boy with a beard.

Haha damn we have pretty much the exact same story. I had sort of the "sensitive musician guy" look in my teens, then started balding at 18 or 19. I'm also 30 now and since then have shaved it all off and started paying more attention to my beard. I also feel like a tough guy but deep down I'm still that sensitive guy who likes to play music.

Shaving the head is therapeutic plus it feels good, I love taking my Leaf razor across my scalp. For anyone that has not bought a leaf razor you're doing yourself a complete Injustice, buy one of these razors and you too can have a complete and amazing and I do mean amazing head shave.
Finally did it shaved my head with a number 3 blade all over it took me about 15 mins to finally do it best decision I’ve ever made thanks to you its not bald but i like it at the number 3 blade great feeling not have to worry anymore now about fixing my hair over every time i go out its so freeing

I’m 14 and I am balding, the doctor said early androgenetic alopecia, and because I am only 14 i can’t take finasteride. Y’all are like my bald family, I love you guys, the truth is, we will never look as good as we would if we had thick hair. But we are the strongest, because we are choosing to embrace the way god mad us. The suicidal thoughts have gotten to my head, but seeing other people shaving it off really helps. I shaved my head using a gilette razor but still see shadow. How do you get rid of the black outline/shadow? Do you thinking waxing my head, pulling up hair by the roots will solve the problem?
Lol, I am that guy thinking that it won't look good for me. I kind of have bigger ears that stick out more than all of the people in the videos and I know I already look psycho with a buzzcut, partly because of a giant widow's peak. I still got some time though. I have noticed it thinning out and receding a lot more recently, so maybe just a couple years. I have to say though, it really is nice to see all these videos and it does make more confident.
I'm not even really balding but have been sporting a short buzz cut for the past two years, today I just said to hell with it and shaved it off. Only regret I have is that I used a straight razor and got a couple cuts, other than that I'm feeling good. Cheers guys.
I went through the same phase as these guys...Being Asian and all, I began losing my long hair on or around 27, then it progressed when I hit my 30’s... I did cut my long hair short, I thought I was just having a Widow’s Peak, then it began to shape like a horse shoe and the bald spot on my crown was also beginning to show...No matter what hairstyle I tried, rogaine treatment, etc, there was no way of stopping the inevitable... I went from #2 gauge down to #1.... I went back to the mirror and said, “fuck it, let’s do this”... from #0 to a full shave... It was an eye opener... I looked a LOT younger...then I decided to take care of my overall health by changing my lifestyle... From being skinny fat w/ 25% body fat (im only 5’5” and around 142 lbs - but I was packing excess fat) down to 133lbs w/ 17% body fat and replaced fhe excess fat with 6 lbs of muscle mass....
How does being short add to the insecurities? I’m the same height and I’m thinning, so I know I’m going to be bald in a few years. Being short doesn’t help imo
@@victormurillo6956 I’m not insecure about my height since it is something I have no control over... I can only change my overall looks... I was happy that my bald head made me look younger than my age (I’m 44) but people think I’m in my 30’s, but as far as taking care of myself, it didnt really hit me until I saw my photo that I had a beer gut at 39, I needed to so something about that... Took a lot of sacrifices by phasing out junk foods to taking proper nutrition, working out and staying active... I’m 44 and I felt a lot healthier than I was in my 30’s...

I'm still afraid to take the leap, I work in a factory and I have seen it already with other balding guys, the doing you get is unreal, going to be very hard to face this every day. I use dermatch, toppik etc.. but getting sick of putting this on my head at 5am every morning. I just don't have the confidence to stand up to the guys who will mock me
Mate I'm the guy in the video. Some people might be dicks about it - I haven't had anything negative though. All positive or just don't even care haha.
All I can say is it lifts a weight. No more 5am alarms to mess about with your hair!

i had many fears including at workplace, i was using fibers for a couple of years and thanks to this channel i shave it al off. I was making it much bigger than it really is, same as you, trust me. Once you shave it you'll feel liberated, tidier and won't leave your bathroom in a mess.

One point I would make is that I'd never say to anyone that you "should have a bald head". What I would say it you should try it. I have given it a go, and although I decided it wasn't for me I'm glad I at least gave it a shot. I faced myself bald in the mirror, and know what that will look like.
Another point to make, following on from what thetodd said, is that whatever you do you'll have to put in some effort. The shaved head look is not a way to end all the time and hassle out of this beast. You need to shave again every 2 days or so to maintain the look, and that time adds up.
Still, it's an easier option than most and is worth a try if you get the chance.

Of course some women prefer men with hair but guess what? Some prefer men bald as polished stainless steel bowl. Some like tall guys, some like shorter guys, some like muscular guys, some like nerds weighing half as much in their winter jacket. One door will close to you but other doors will open. And if you want to open as many as possible take it a step further and dress sharply, work out, educate yourself more in whatever field interest you (you don't need PhD, just not sound like an idiot).

I dont agree. Yes probably 90% can pull it off. But there is that 10% that really can't. I'm one of those people. Really bad head shape. Bumpy and asymmetrical. I tried it but it made me more insecure and self aware. A hair transplant or a hairsystem are my only options.

it sounds good and positive, however when i shaved the problem i got another one ,because i had rickets as a kid and my head shape is genuinely deformed to the point of ruining the whole look. I'm now on fin and min and seeing good enough results

As much as I like your community for spreading a positive message to the people which suffer from hairloss...to say beeing bald doesnt matter to women (in regards of attractiveness) is delusional as hell. I saw a guy here on youtube which was doing a tinder experiment. Before this guy went for a hair transplant he had 3 matches over a certain period of time. After the HT he basically recreated all the pictures he had before but now obviously with a full head of hair. He got 66 matches in the same period uf time...effing 22 times more...how do people explain that? You still believe it doesn‘t matter?
The focus isn’t on “it doesn’t matter” the point is people who say you can have success with women if you are bald or you’ll never get laid again if you are bald it’s total bullshit. You could literally say that about any physical trait. Don’t rely on your hair for anything Especially bloody tinder matches.

im a 15 year old struggling with a receeding hairline. ive always wanted to have long hair but it seems that wont be the case for me and im stuck trying to decide if iwant to take the plunge and completely shave my head

I’m not trying to insult anyone, but some you guys look great others don’t, think it can depend on your face, bald does generally work better with a beard tho. An interesting thing Is none of the guys have or had actual long hair before this, I think it’s more of a big deal in my case as I’ve always had hair to my shoulders, it’s receding and dread the day I have to shave it long hair has been a part of who I am since I was 12 and I’m 33 now

Hair fibers are actually ok if you just started balding and you still have an ok amount of hair but some spots are thinner than others. It is few sprinkles and you are done and it doesn't even cost a lot if you are doing only a small patch. However this is only temporary and it will get worse. But for small patches of thin hair? Why not.
@Rich T the point I’m trying to make is once you’ve shaved your head it’s a big weight off of your mind you don’t have to worry about the comb over or when it rains or people touching your head, it’s done ,and with hair transplants I’m not doubting them I know a couple of people that have had it done but some people can’t afford it or there donner is no good

Yo I'm in the same boat. Asian as well and can't grow a mustache or beard. I shaved my head a few days ago and the look is different, but it looks better than having a half-ass hairline.
I am not "balding" but I've been receding since I was like 16. My forehead has basically just become bigger overtime. Don't have a bald spot on the rear of my head, just a bigger forehead. I buzzed it once but felt naked. Wife wasn't that supportive, like she could give a shit. I stared in the mirror and realized my head shape wasn't completely symmetrical and psyched myself out. I realize at some point I'm going to need to shave it.. I should.

I shaved my head at the end of march, still getting used to it. I don't feel confident at all because my headshape is terrible. I do like not worrying about my hair anymore though.
Dumb thing is I can't grow a beard. So that sucks.

Just wondering what’s wrong with taking a finastride every day. I understand the argument for not wanting to be dependent on a pill for the rest of your life. But you’re going to be dependent on shaving your head every day if you go for the aerodynamic route. Any thoughts other than “let your vanity go” “just “shave it bro” it’s 2020 and it seems apparent that any guy within a Norwood 2-4 doesn’t need to be bald.
There's studies that show pretty bad side effects from fin. Impotence and depression are the main factors.
The "official" study seems to have put the side effects at a 1 or 2% chance but others are about 10%.
I took finasteride and had problems with libido

I have worked in pharma companies and have known the side effects of Finasteride and minoxidil because I have talked to the scientists and people who created it and to the doctors who recommend it and we sell those medication to the doctors knowing completely what the side effects will be that the doctors too don't know, we know what is in those medication, the doctors who recommend you people these things do it on our orders and command, though you might think I am blabbering bunch of bullshit but it's the truth, it is the pharma industries that decide which medicine you get not the doctors, if you want to belief it you can if you don't then it's your choice, lastly the side effects of Finasteride is impotence, low sperm count, low fertility rate and when you stop applying minoxidil you will start rapidly loosing your hair, it will make the skin dry in the area which it is applied if you wouldn't apply it regularly, these are tested by our companies, you can do whatever you want to do with this information but it is 100 percent correct and nobody can say otherwise

I am of a view that all balding earning young men should use Hair system for 5/6 days just for photo session and memories.
I know this may be waste of money but as young look will not stay forever,it will be amazing to see how would you have looked if you weren't bald in young age.
This will give amazing memories after 10 to 20 plus years for your family,after getting married.

I hate my bald head lol...I can't grow a beard and I have an otherwise symmetrical face. I swear the outline looks like the mushroom head of a penis. I look like the "no bitches?" meme character. I have the classic horshoe and I feel a lot happier with a no guard to .5 haircut

@@Scrimparmy i'm still dealing with it lol. I take it day by day. I'm starting to hate it less and less. That comment was 6 months ago. I've gotten more confident as I've accepted I can't do anything about it. I also started a Minoxidil and Microneedling journey as to hopefully grow a beard in a year and a half-2 years.
Simple truth: you look 10 times worse with ridiculous hairdo attempting to cover your badness that any chick can spot from 100 meters away. Seriously. If you are in early stages... ok. But if you are at point when you spend 30+ minutes styling your remaining hair... yea it is time to buzz it off and when it gets even worse (and it will), Wilkinson Sword got your back.

The majority of men look terrible bald. The fact that Jason Statham and The Rock are the only two examples people can pull out to counter this is proof.
