Ive had the hubs off a few times when having to change various suspension components. Its an utter pain, especially solo and my car has been subjected to British weather.
Great video, and thank you for the torque values. Helps a lot.

Glad it helped ! The job would have been much more painful had the car been weathered. Can't imagine.

Great video, thanks. I'm getting around to putting a sports cat on my 265 and basically all what you did needs to be done for that.

Hey mate. Any tips how to pop a axle driveshaft. Specifically the left side. These renaults the left is harder to pop out. How to pop it with out the specific cv removal tool

You can lightly tap it with a rubber hammer whilst pulling away from the car. Never done the left side before but can't imagine it being different to the right? If it is, however try squit in some WD-40 past the seal. You will be flushing the oil anyway so shouldnt cause harm . Good luck !

Hi, As others have said, it seems like the white cylinder should be left in place.

However, I don't really understand why the tube is needed.

See 9:40 in the video as I show the official instructions from Renault. The white tube is not needed as it is just there to protect the seal during install. I couldn't find a good way to cut it therefore I suggest removing it before install.
If left on it may cause the seal to leak like mine did.

@@phillpana I see, I definitely had my doubts. Looking at the structure, there's no point in leaving the white tube.
Renault sometimes does things that we don't understand :)

@@phillpana Just to be sure, I looked it up in the service manual.

If the shaft has a groove, just slide it and fit it into the groove.
It is written that if the shaft does not have a groove, it should be destroyed.
In any case, you won't need the tube in the end.
At the end of the day, the tube is just a jig...Renault is interesting!
