I was always under the impression the gasket sealant was meant to go on the underside head of the bolt, not the bottom end of the bolt. Can you tell me where you got that info? I am going to do this job and want to be sure l am not doing the wrong thing. Thanks

I haven't owned too many sports cars, but the S2000 is my favorite. I'm fine without having a shitton of power and keeping up with the times. I'm getting older and these cars are part of the eras a lot of us grew up admiring.
