I have so much respect for our Baltimore City police! They have the toughest job in Baltimore!! The criminals are against them, most of the politicians are against them! The old crook of a states attorney Marilyn Mosbey wouldn't prosecute the smaller crimes, and what she considered smaller crimes is crazy. It made it impossible for them to do their job. The open air drug market is completely out of control. It's always been bad, but they use to fear the police and they don't anymore. They took the plain clothes officers off the streets. They made so many bad decisions that made it so much easier for the criminals to get away with whatever they wanted. I love my city so much and it saddens me my daughter won't be able to enjoy it the way I did when I was growing up. The uptick in crime has came through like a wild fire. It's degraded so badly over the last 7 or 8 years. It happened extremely fast.
Just started the ol' vanlife just over 2 weeks ago. Thank you Ryan your channel was the one that gave me the inspiration for it. infact some of the ideas u used in your van has gone in mine lol. You legend. It's given me so much freedom. Thanks
I have the same exact oven in my travel trailer and I had the same problem with it burning the bottom of my food. Then I learned you have to use insulated baking sheets or pans. It cooks your food evenly and I haven't burned anything since. Hopefully this helps!
My wife and I are mere minutes outside of the city. You are MORE than welcome to park at our place! It's just she and I and our 4 babies (🐕, 🐈⬛, 🐩, 🐈)... and a pool in the summer & fire pit in the winter! BUT, if you're dead set on the city, I highly suggest Patterson Park. From where you are in the 1st paid parking lot, jump on E. Pratt and take it down, passing over Broadway, & you'll dead end into Patterson Park. Once you hit the park, take a right onto S. Patterson Park Ave. If you can get a spot somewhere between Pratt & Eastern, you're good! Of the 4 sides of the park, I believe that's the safest, but that's just my opinion. OR getting a spot in Canton, on the cobblestone, right at the water... now THAT would be awesome!
Ryan, when you use a cutting board put a damp washcloth or damp paper towel underneath it so it doesn’t slide around on you. I see a lot of stuff sliding around on that counter. An easy quick tip that doesn’t require ordering anything from Amazon. Lol

Not sure if you already have one but you should get a pizza stone for your oven. Not to cook pizzas but you just put it in the bottom of the oven. It’s pretty popular amongst RVers because it helps distribute the heat in the smaller RV ovens so things don’t burn on the bottom and cook more evenly overall. Just a suggestion.
Yes, groceries are sky high and there doesn't seem to be any chance of them coming down. Your pizza looked fantastic and to have crab, oh my, how wonderful, just thinking of seafood makes my mouth water since we don't get really fresh seafood here in AZ....thanks for the city tour....take care and have a nice evening!

Hey Ryan, not sure if you knew this, but buying pre-shredded cheese is bad of pizza because there is added corn starch to the cheese for an anti-clumping agent. Just speaking on citys i lived
I feel the same about San Francisco, which gets a bad rap too. I live an hour away and grew up near by, been going all of my life. Like you said, there's good and bad spots.
San Francisco really is a beautiful city and there's so much amazing history and food.
I'd love to visit Baltimore and that side of the country some day. I was at the Baltimore airport for a connecting flight to Florida back in May. It was very overcast then and it looks huge from the air. That's as close as I've been so far.
Would love to explore some history. It's so different from the West Coast.
Well better sanfran than Bakersfield💀
