I agree, I totally was talking loudly to Ryan to back up into the spot that way if he needs to leave quickly, as if he can hear me..but I always , ALWAYS back up ,
I feel the same way until I realize he shits in a bag most days and no soap ice cold quick showers in between gym showers… This type of freedom definitely comes at a cost lol love the videos though!
Just remember there's more to 'van life' than all the cool, fun parts. Break downs, break ins, mechanical problems, getting sick, safety, having a steady money stream or savings, loneliness, constantly looking for a place to sleep that's safe and allowed. ✌
@loluns5029 Same here, as long as they aren't destroying my house I take them out to the field down the street and let them go. Thankfully I've only ever had 1 get in my house and it came in with some Christmas decorations that were stored in the shed.
Grew up in the Yukon, everyone owes it to themselves to experience the Alaska Highway drive at least once in their lives. Dawson City in the Summer is also one of the most worthwhile places in northern Canada you can visit IMO.
Awwww so sweet of you to save that little mouse and the quote moved me to tears. It show you have a good heart. Loved the old style gas pumps back when people were more trustworthy. I grew up with those. Love your videos!
All lives are precious, every single living being deserves kindness. I liked you a lot before, and after you released that little mouse I just love you now!
I subscribed at how kind and considerate you are to the mice. Speaks volume of your character. Oddly my takeaway from this episode (ofcourse all of it was amazing) was foldable dishware everything. I hope to do vanlife one day and it struck me the utility of everything packable.
Amazing! Mr. Mouse is lucky he came to your van! Alaska is beautiful! What are you plans after this trip? I’m not sure if I will be okay without your vlogs! You are so fun to watch. You were seriously an authentic human being and that’s why I love watching you over the rest of the van lifers. ❤
I am NEVER one to comment on ANYTHING ANYWHERE on UA-cam… Until, you and now. I personally name/call EVERYTHING I get caught up with (human, animal, insect, other) STEVE!!! Continue to drive hard and take chances! ❤
Aaww. Little mousey. Glad he was ok to jump out and find his way. Thank you for your Alaska trip videos. I'm retired, but I get to see United States thru your videos. It's very nice ride. Lol. Thank you.😊. Stay safe
the mouse catch and release.....ULTIMATE RESPSECT...!!!! the man upstairs has too give you cool points and free COD unlocks.... massive respect Ryan...
Ryan, I hope you're not skipping the Kenai, Seward and Homer! Way a better destination than Prudhoe. Homer is actually called The End of the Road". FYI, That poo you were looking at was bear scat. Really enjoying your videos. I'll be watching for you.
That gas station is old school. That's how they all were back in the day, until stealing gas got too common and they started making you pay ahead. And what a lucky mouse! You have a kind heart. Thanks for the nice long video! Oh, and what a great use for the drone. I would never of thought of that but it's brilliant. Great way to keep yourself out of sticky situations with backroads. I keep coming back to edit ...that looks like bear scat to me. With wolves or coyotes you're more likely see a lighter color with hair and bones in it. Bears being omnivores, and this time of year probably eating a lot of berries and such, you'll get that darker color. I apparently know too much about poop lol
muito bom deixar o ratinho vivo, parabéns pela atitude gentil com o pequeno, bainho... video longo... assim vou voltar sempre :D e a pizza ficou bonita...
You got me addicted to that Butter Burger seasoning. Bought 2 12oz'rs of that and Carmalized Onion Butter.. if you can find it, should try it. Can put it in anything and everything.
You know I used to drive the longer van like that making deliveries across the usa. I had a foldable army shovel. When I would end up on a Friday afternoon close to a national forest or park I wanted to camp at, I’d find a place to camp and when nature called, I’d dig a hole in the woods with the shovel, do the deed and cover it back up. No need to carry it out 😂😂😂😂
Honestly I made the best decision subscribing to him! I LOVE the videos YOU CANNOT MISS!! Every video is super relaxing and entertaining. Love your videos bro keep it up!
12:10 Dude really pointed at a german license plate and said it's from the UK💀😂. I see a lots of german signs in that "forest". Best regards from south Germany🇩🇪, keep going ryan, top content as always!
I grew up in Victoria, BC. My family lives in Abbotsford, and Chilliwack. Some of them live in Sumas, WA. Alaska is an amazing spot. My favourite place is Seldovia, an old Russian fishing village. You can only get there by boat, or plane. no road access.

Your such a good guy Ryan, I wish I knew more people like u. I've loved following your journey and I've seen the good things you've done throughout Ur vids, of which I've seen all. Safe travels for the rest of your journey my friend and much love from Australia 👍
We just went to traders joes picked up dough of pizza ready to go. Amazing how its taste so much better at home with all the fresh ingredients than in local pizza chain.
Hey Ryan love your video's! I've been watching them since you left Florida😊 I have a tip for you with that rv oven and how to distribute the heat more evenly...place a pizza stone or a slab of tile on the bottom rack and it will help to not burn food on the bottom! It works really great and I highly recommend it!!! Safe travels to you😁
you cant come to Alaska without coming to Seward and/or Homer. Alaska is gorgeous, I grew up here, but Homer and Seward are the MOST BEAUTIFUL!!! Places in WORLD. ask around. I am Alaska Native and have been following your journey for awhile.
First... Love that you spared Ms mouse... Secondly I've never felt old until you had issues with the gas pumps... Seriously. 😅⛽⛽🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I remember when that's how they ALL were... And gas was right around a dollar a gallon... I'm almost 41.
take the leftover dough, roll it into about a pool ball size then flatten it out with your fingers. Put it in the oven and use it as fresh bread for sandwiches. Just cut 'em in half.
That recipe id all the yeast? Usually its a tablespoon. Dont forget to always add your seasoning in the dough mix before stirring. Always all seasoning or it wont taste oike pizza dough. Sorry, im a ln italian cook all from scratch. But dough you can make two doughs with a packet of yeast.
You should make this thing we call toutons in Newfoundland is basically just bread dough in the size of a Hockey puck then you pan fry it and cut it open and butter it and dip it in molasses or maple syrup be really cool to see you try it
At least you seasoned that tasty little bugger for the Hawk or Snake thats gonna snatch him/her up while its glistening in the sunlight! Kudos for that.
So glad you stopped by Liard Hot Springs - it is a very nice place. If you can imagine back in the day, the Alaska Highway used to be mostly gravel. Stopping there and getting clean was a highlight!
Fun fact, Hawaiian pizza was actually invented in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. And up here in Canada most places do use the small pineapple pieces instead of slices. It makes a world of difference.
Lol seeing a Lubbock, Texas city limit sign from the 1980's (judging by the population) at 12:15 was wild. Not my hometown, but my current home. Safe travels
Love pineapple on pizza, wouldn’t have it any other way. Love that you are doing this for the Alaska trip. That is some place I do not believe I will ever get and now I feel like I was able to see it through your trip.
Yiu have a heart sadlytrs what the average person is missing because of what they miseed growing up plus what the world has taught them. May God bless you bro and may you continue to lead by example.
You have gotten me into cooking again! I bought the butter steak sauce, the Tzao tea and a few other things you suggested to restart my kitchen! Great video! I live vicariously through you! 😂
I only use humane traps here too. We occasionally get mice in our house and I figured treat them like a human that doesn't know any better because they really don't. I always release them in a field far from my house so I know they won't find their way back. It looks beautiful there. So many pine trees. I'm from Ohio and pine are very sparse here. Maple and oak mostly rule the area.
Wow, I really loved that natural hot spring! To have water that's warm and even gets too hot is amazing! Beautiful scenic spot as well. Loved the camping night spot near the water, but I'm glad you backed out successfully with no mishaps. Your pizzas look delicious, and I agree, pineapple on pizza is a must! 😊😊😋❤️❤️
i dont know about your plan for the way home from the trip a recommendation is pick up a starter pack of disc golf discs its a very relaxed sport and courses are often free in Canada and they in almost every small town not sure if it would be worth checking if any in your areas ur passing through
I really look forward to your new video every day! I love watching your channel Ryan! Your a cool dude😂 look forward to you passing thru San Diego again! I’ll buy you a 🍺! Be safe on your trip to Alaska!
Ryan, I agree about your decision of the life of the mouse. Good man my friend, you are a good man. Still loving your videos from day one, take care and have a great time. And pineapple and bacon pizzas are the best. Along with pineapple and ham or pineapple, bacon and ham.

I'm glad you decided to save the mouse, showing kindness to things most people consider pests shows a lot about your character.
Yea, I do the same if I can. I hate being the one to decide their fate.

Get a live trap for rodents. That sticky paper is a torturous death.
He makes a great point. He invaded his home first. lol ;)
I recently discovered this channel, and I got to say, the more I watch the more appealing this lifestyle looks to me.
The mane is even better this time brotha, also love the compassion with the life of a little mouse much needed in this world
