I saw this in real time. She was in control the ENTIRE time. My ass would have been running in circles jumping up and down and yelling, while running in the opposite direction. This sister is pure black excellence. These are my sisters that gather all the news and report it. We all have our gifts and this aint mine. I watch the news 4x a month just to get an update. I cant watch everyday.
We all know news reporters are trained to be non-emotional during their responses. However, seeing a living person being engulfed in flames would totally elicit an emotional response from me.

Last night at the beginning of her CNN show, Laura Coates Live, she spoke from the heart regarding what she experienced on the scene. Ms. Coates was indeed traumatized from the event. She mentioned how her eyes could never unsee, her nose could never "unsmell" and her heart was breaking for the man who set himself on fire. So either they were misinformed or telling us lies for the sake of national security and I didn't see the point anymore. I listen to the news compulsively. In my car: of the 5 presets, 3 are NPR stations. When I walk in the kitchen to cook or do dishes, NPR is on.
I get the 1 year only special rates for The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Atlantic. I’m watching a couple of Black political commentators on UA-cam. But I’m going to have to go on a news blackout because all this bad news is launching me into a deep depression. I’m waiting to hear that Trump is guilty and has to go to jail.
