  • For the first ever GameCube Galaxy game review on the channel, I provide my in-depth review for 1080 Avalanche! Is this a mountain worth shredding, or is it best left buried under an avalanche? Let's find out!
Review written in-house, as well as all the footage in this video. Gameplay captured on real hardware via Elgato HD60, paired with an EON GCHD Adapter and mClassic Adapter.

Man I really miss this era of Nintendo because we used to have multiple type of racing games outside of mario kart. Kirby air ride, f-zero, wave race, Diddy kong racing etc.. Racing game has always been one of my favourite type of games. I grew up with 1080 both on N64 and on GameCube. Thanks for the review, 1080 avalanche was super fun to play

I really like this game and this is honestly the best review I’ve ever seen for this game. Short and straight to the point with every mode talked about and a final verdict to boot. Great Review, Just subbed.

The arcade style is really what I've been wanting as a new father, I don't have entire empty evenings to devote to sprawling open worlds anymore. This one was a great add to the collection, nice review.

I miss the days when SSX v 1080 was the killed rivalry in gaming. Nice video

The game that introduced us to the "cauterize" such a fun game, and plenty of personal memories shared by us both! Great review! Much love brother! Keep em coming!🤘🔥🔥

I wish the 95% of other UA-camrs would make reviews like yours. I usually need to watch 3 or more reviews before I make a decision to play a game or not, but not this time. Your review is all I need. Thanks. 👍👍

This game looks so amazing and fun. I feel like this is one game that isn't talked so much in recent years sadly. I plan to get this due to missing out years ago and I love how it looks and plays. Cool video. ^_^

I still have this game and my GameCube, might need to hook it up and play it again, I used to play this throughout my whole childhood and it was my favorite game on the GameCube

Man when I tell you this game along with SSX Tricky and Bloody Roar Primal Fury were basically my life between ages 9-14 I mean it. I had everything unlocked in all 3 games and even got to the point where I was timing tricks and endings of runs to certain music cues and songs in the soundtrack. Even had a fanfic of Ricky and Akari. Man I wish I could have recorded some of them lol. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and great review for a game I feel doesnt get talked about enough.

Fun video to watch. The music gave me early 2000 rock vibes and was fantastic to hear. Also, excellent closing shot.

It does deserve a solid 8.5/10 .... The GameCube was my childhood and gosh this game ... I spent so many hours just restarting the game and unlocking everything. The SNES, N64 and GameCube era were the most innovative years of Nintendo in my opinion. You could argue it was the Wii but imo again the Wii was too creative limiting the access to engage. There was tons of fun with the Wii don't get me wrong but compared to the SNES, N64 and GameCube. The games quality was just insane. Even with the hardware limitations. But for sure Nintendo is always the most innovative company in the gamin industry by far even right now during the switch. It's just during those era, it was a summit that since then wasn't matched. Maybe it's nostalgia talking but ... It's my beliefs.

1080 is such a great series! The avalanche mechanic was so revolutionary! I’ve never owned this title but I’ve played it a few times! I never knew there was a NES snowboard option! That’s so cool! Sad that devs have sorts for away from extreme sports games. I miss the days of over the top snowboard and other extreme sports type games. Stellar video man!

I found your channel a couple of weeks ago in my recommended after searching something to do with back compat wii's, I've watched most of your past vids now, very good work. I hope your channel blows up, you're a very good reviewer.👍

I still remember the songs I would choose for each race, I would end with finger eleven for the Avalanche race. Rob Haywood was go to. I spent a lot of my free time with this game

Excellent review. You get straight to the point, give context to the game's design, all without tangents or wasting time.

One of the very very few Nintendo franchises that I've never tried. Looks spectacular, though.

This is reminding me of when I played Amped for hours on my Xbox. Loved the N64 1080, but sounds like I should grab this too at some point.
