You are using the wrong DVR app. You need the DDVR CAM 2 app from the Avin website. The DVR app already on the unit is not for that camera system. Read my post in your other video "AVIN questions".
Mine also orginal harmond cardon and factory navigation . So when i connected the 40 pin connector i did not take out the 2 blue strips and it works as well One more thing even without connecting to that unit u had seperately on the trunk system works fine. After seen ur video i plugged it as well but there is no noticeble difference

On thing that is confusing in the video is your show a silver square unit that you picked and said one end goes in there and the other end goes into the OEM female connector. Both of those are in the trunk so what is the need for the 6ft long harness. Super confused starting from 2:17.
Sorry mani sold the car a couple of years ago and don't remember. I made the video because I bought the unit when it first released and there weren't installation instructions. Hopefully ADVIN has created something by now
I have sold the car and wasn't able to install the camera. If I would have, the camera would stick on to the front windshield in front of the rear view mirror. You can tuck the wires in the headliner
Hey, thanks for the vid but I have a couple of questions as I struggle my way to my first install. How do you remove the second blue tab (2:02 mn)? I can't get the second one out. And where does the power come from for the head unit? Avin did not send me any instructions and their website is not allowing access. Thanks in advance.
I think I pulled it off with pliers but it took a lot of effort. I sold the car about two years ago and am not sure what the wiring schematics are sorry

Ditto on this one. Did you ever figure out how to get the blue tabs off. I ready in several places that you don't need to remove the tabs.
