This is the greatest video on this I've seen. That last bit, showing how the lock works, is absolutely essential. Thank you.- ZK
Thank you for the feedback 😊
Finally, someone who was able to explain AND actually show what to do...thanks for your help.
I thought I was the only one who has bad luck on DIY's that supposedly, are "easy" based on those YT videos 😒😒
Thanks so much, yeah believe me it's always my luck where nothing goes to plan even when trying to film, but for me there's no point making it look easy and watch others struggle, more satisfying to see everyone succeed 😊
And thanks for showing us how these removal pins work, this is absolutely crucial
Thanks for the video. Your the only person to show the actual pins I'm trying to get to under the radio
Do they make an adapter that just plugs into these factory plugs?
You are an asset to m3 community!!!
Love this, thanks so much 🙏
Did you have a video of changing the screen for a new one??
Very helpful mate. Thanks
Why is there only white and blue cable? And how to upgrade them to another newer aftermarket one?
Excellent video
So i have the same exact radio in my 330i, however, when i went to jump it after the battery died, it wouldnt work.. so i looked at the fuses and 1 was blown. The radio turns on, navigation works, but the radio doesnt work. It just stays on the menu. I decided to watch your video incase i missed something, but I did not. This radio is very simple... but its being very difficult and I do not know what to do because I wanted to keep the OEM radio... Am I missing something? Is it locked by anti theft? I would say the radio is fried, but it still navigates.... im just lost
Did you ever replace ? If so what brand ?
Any good aftermarket head units mines no good
i have same 16:9 radio but i didnt found aux there, i jave 6cds changer and there is aux but when i connet bluetooth , my radio not working because i plug off radio… how can i use bluetooth ?
Hi what cable do I need from boot to head unit please
Hi. Where is possible to order adapter what convert original connectors ( blue and white) to new android head unit. Thank you in advance!
If you could do another video of the wiring harness to the rear boot and fitting of the new stereo unit please
I've made the video will be uploaded this evening of the full install 👍
hello, did you put in the oem radio ?
What keys did you end up using?
I have the tape deck in my M3. Can I still fit the aux cable?
I believe you can but there's a model year cut off where the wiring harness wasn't put into the loom I think its pre 2002 but a swift Google will confirm this I belive, hope this helped.
